I'd love to know how many people threw their money away voting for that woman who couldn't hit a note with a banjo - other than the Irish (they had to use a jury since there was a problem with the televoting. If their televoting was used, we'd have been spared that nil point embarrassment: they'd have given us 7).

Nope - I hated their song in 2003, but loved their 2004 entry. So much so that I voted for it.

I agree - and if Labour suffers one of the biggest swing in British history in apparently their third safest seat*, what hope is there in the rest of the country. Thank God this doesn't have any of the "it should be a British act" sh!t that I've read elsewhere, as if it's set in stone that it should be a British act doing it 'cos James Bond's from Britain.
