What's going wrong with indie (part 2)? - Scouting For Girls. :puke:

I thought Airdrie United brought Airdrieonian's place (the former having risen, pheonix-like, out of the ashes of the latter).

So, by this theory, how did Leon Jackson have the fourth-biggest selling single of 2007?

I guess the United Kingdom's racist as well, since we didn't go and buy/download it.

Can you send whatever you're on to Preston, please?

I love how there's three spots for it in the iTunes top 30 - 1, 13 and 24 - and again at No81. I also love how I could have downloaded a No1 of 2008 back in 2005.

He's gone back to being a binman. (And I love what Dustin the Turkey said about him - "He used to collect rubbish and now he sings it.")

That's quite a bit for a meaningless friendly.

Don't worry - someone's gonna get Austria.

And here's why I don't buy the diaspora thing either: * Germany has over a million Poles. Poland got nothing from them. * France has nearly a million Poles. Nothing from them. * Belarus has a sizeable population of Poles. Nothing from them either. Poland got their highest score - 10 - from Ireland. (Which has just 63,000 Poles.)

We invaded Iraq in 2002? Funny, I thought we did so in 2003. And Iraq was just an easy excuse from people hiding the truth - we chose someone who wouldn't know what a note is if it slapped them around the face with a wet kipper (to quote Helen).

CEyyALP86EY There's a reason people don't cover Seasons In The Sun. And then Westlife show the noobs (in the late-90s, anyway) why. I'm just wondering - how many people aged between (say) 16-22 liked them then, but can't understand why now?

They don't *need* an iPod to use iTunes - simply download it, download whatever tracks you want, then burn them to CD. (And, let's face it, CD-Rs are f***ing cheap these days.) Show me someone who doesn't have access to *at least* a CD-RW drive.

That list of songs from 2006 is pretty sh!t. And my the looks of it, 2008's isn't gonna be much better. :(

I'll probably decide on the day*. And let's not forget that their first game in the tournament is against each other. * - Not that it hasn't happened before: my flatmate Jo had Italy in the WC sweepstake, and had a French gf (at the time).

13 - Hopefully it won't be unlucky for me (unless I get Austria, obv).

I assume this doesn't apply to those of us who are aware that, if you burn a copy-protected download to CD, you can then rip it back onto the computer without any form of DRM on it. And also, a little comparison: CD single - 3 tracks, £2.99 -> Cost per track: 99.67p. CD album - 10 tracks (at least), £7.99 -> Cost per track: 79.9p. Should we ban albums, then, since they work out to be cheaper than singles?

I'm supporting two countries: -> The Netherlands: my gf's half-Dutch (and was born in Amsterdam). -> Italy: I got them in the work sweepstake.

Here's why I don't believe in the political/neighbourly voting thing: Where were Estonia in the Final? Lithuania? Hungary? Bulgaria? Macedonia? The Czech Republic? Slovenia?

I hope this happens - it'll mean we actually take the Contest seriously. And £173K? That's about two weeks wages for Jonathan Ross!

:heehee: at Leeds - in seven years, they've gone from the Champions League Semifinals to hosting teams like Hereford, Peterborough and Stockport in the League. But I reckon they'll go up automatically next season.
