^ I agree. I used to hate the charts when they were moving quicker than a jet powered car driven by Richard Hammond. Now it's going slower than parapalegic turtles with broken legs.
  2.:lol::lol::lol: If you play the way you did against PNE in the Cup (at a time when we were stuggling), I can see you doing what happened to Wednesday when they got relegated. I don't think Swansea saw Bournemouth beating them. And they did just that. On the day that Swansea would have been promoted, as well.
  3. AND they're still using "gb" has our ISO code. Everyone knows that it should be "uk". (Try telling those people in Northern Ireland that they don't count.) They obviously are unaware that it's Alt+0240. (Mind you, what do you expect from a tracklisting that reads "23." and only lists Malta's song, but not their act?)

I've got to agree, I've found it slightly boring. I don't even like who they've got to do the chart - two idiots with egos bigger than Saturn. What the hell was wrong with JK and Joel, anyway? (And I never thought I see the time when I miss them doing the chart.)

    :heehee:
  6. But probably less bizarre than the most fouled player in the Euro 2008 qualifiers representing San Marino!
  7. Because more people know English across Europe than other languages. And notice how the language rule was dropped the year after televoting was introduced Europe-wide? (Having said that, though, last year's winner was in Serbian.) Iirc, only the chorus was in Spanish, with the rest of the song in English.

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0012IXBN...4SMEGBMM0NF7D7Q But you'll have to have a DVD player that can play Region 1 DVDs.

1 - I'm not sure these are spoilers. Especially since they've already been in the Radio Times (and they didn't have 4.12's title either). 2 - I doubt Journey's End will be on 4th July: that's a Friday - and only the Christmas Day episodes aren't shown on Saturdays.
  10. I agree - it's better to spend £20 and get both singles and albums in one, rather than (say) £15 on one for the singles and £13 for one with albums. (I'm just using those two figures as a guess, especially since there'd be more singles than albums.)

And then they can have news about a Big Brother that no-one's gonna watch. (Especially if it's like last year's.)
  12. :heehee: Do you reckon this is a p*** take?

Estelle's No1? I never would have known that. Thanks, casaba.
  14. Simple - Kent to Manchester and back is a pretty long journey the day before work.
  15. Well, iirc, it died in 2004. Hung Up was (imo) one of 2005's best songs. It never appeared on a Now CD, so I can't see why it would change now. Mind you, I never thought Christina Aguilera or Avril Lavigne would appear on one…

If losing by 56 points counts as "just", then you'll be correct.

Hasn't this left the chart (and by chart, I mean the entire 75)?
  18. If they play the way they did we PNE played them in the FA Cup (at a time when we were struggling in the Championship), they'll be like Wednesday were when they were relegated.

It wouldn't surprise me if it climbs back to No1 - I seem to remember one of them (possibly the first one of the year) was knocked off No1, only to climb back up and stay at No1 for seven weeks.

This should be a re-entry, not a new entry.

  22. That's because the Home Nations unanimously rejected the idea of forming a world body.
  23. There was speculation that Malta used a jury instead of televoting last year as a protest against neighbourly voting. Don't forget - the most western qualifier from the SF was Slovenia.

And its third most watched show was a film that came out (Jess just checks imdb.com) 19 years ago.
  25. And just think - before 2005, there wasn't an English side in the Final since 1999. Just a pity It's an awfully good thing that there aren't a lot of English players for them - who knows, we might be having the usual, "we'll win because we won the World Cup in 1966" guff that us Scots living in England have to put up with every other summer.
