What was No.1 on the day you were born?
Nah - it's been 10 years since two worse No1s had their reign at the top (Barbie Girl and Teletubbies Say Eh-Oh. And I highly doubt no-one was born in Britain when either of those songs were No1.

UEFA Champions League [07-08 Thread]
Am I the only one who knew that Liverpool and Chelsea would win their ties when the draws for the QFs and SFs were made?

The Trashnalysis
Let's not forget that the 12s from the three countries using juries last year went like this: Albania -> Spain  Andorra -> Ukraine Malta -> United Kingdom That last one was a protest vote, though.

Highest chart exclusions
I only realised that a couple days ago. And I would have preferred that at No1 rather than the dire cover of We Will Rock You.

so.... diana...
They also don't mention one thing - on August 30th 1997, she and Dodi were meant to fly straight to London has her boys were starting the 97/98 school year that Tuesday (September 2nd). The trip to Paris was a spur of the moment thing, so they couldn't have planned for something that, as far as anyone knew, wasn't going to happen. As for the bill - al-Fayed should pay it. I think he can afford £12 million (I think that's how much it is). And then charged with perjury.

General Football Discussion Thread
It must be strange - you've already got more than double points than your last spell in the Premiership, and another win would give you more than double the points from the visit before that.

Friday Night Project
If the 2004 Superbowl half-time show had happened over here in Britain, no-one would have batted an eyelid. But because it's in America, it's gonna get blown out of all proportion (who *hasn't* seen a woman's breast before - ffs, we all get breastfed as babies!). Mind you, the whole "f***ing Matt Damon/Ben Affleck" thing is pretty funny.

General Football Discussion Thread
Well, Fulham can't win at all, and Bolton have scored less than a dozen since Anelka left (and that was back in January), so I say those two will be coming up to Deepdale next season. Good thing about it is that we'll have another Lancashire club to try and beat (as we've already got Blackpool and Burnley in the Championship).

The TV ratings thread
To be honest, what's on ITV that's worth watching?

Torchwood [Series 2]
I think the edited version for family viewing is on at 7pm this Friday. (Well, they did it throughout the series, so why change it now?)

Top 75 Singles/Albums Chart
When I saw this was in a commercial, I said to Jo, "I bet you this song is in the chart next week". And, sure enough, it is. (I didn't help it, btw. Why would I need to, when I've got all three of their greatest hits albums?) Singles rack? What's that?

The TV ratings thread
Yesterday I made a comment about how I found it funny that I'd Do Anything had less than 1/4 million more than Antiques Roadshow. I now find it funny that AR has overtaken it.

The TV ratings thread
:rofl::rofl: I just find it funny that I'd Do Anything got less than 200K more than Antiques Roadshow.

Top 75 Singles/Albums Charts
And it looks like Rockstar may be following Umbrella - well, it's been in the Top 5 since January 13th. :o

Highest chart exclusions
No they didn't - they made No10 with Smiley Faces a few months later. Admittedly, no-one can remember it… And, wasn't one of the CDs for Ronan Keating's WYSNAA ineligble for the chart due to having three tracks plus a CD-R interview?

Doctor Who [Series 4]
Even though those ones with Billie and Freema will also have Catherine?

And I bet most of them weren't at the Johnstone's Paint Trophy final on Sunday.

Top 3 Physical sales only for last week
As I'm able to speak French, it would probably make more sense than the English translation. (And no, I don't fancy making an accurate translation of the article.) Mind you, I love how the Britney Spears song is called "Station-wagon the ice".

Highest chart exclusions
I don't know about them, but Bryan Adams released another song whilst EIDIDIFY was No1 (it left the chart before the No1 as well!).

Saturday Football Thread
Yup - I agree with you there. An interesting side note to this is that, in a 90000 seater stadium, the FA Cup semifinallists are getting 33000 seats each. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to work out that it means anywhere up to 24000(!) people there will have no interest in the game. If I was a VIP there, I'd actually see the whole game. (Which I have done - three times.)

Doctor Who [Series 4]
Nope - I've already series linked it on the Sky Plus box, since I go out most Saturday evenings *anyway*.

And also the two most easiest to predict ones as well.

The Buzzjack Hate Chart 63
