Now That's What I Call Music 25 years
I'd love to know how long it has to take to clear songs to appear on them - BOMT was released in February, and TDIMM was released in May. 43 came out in July.

Re-entry to top 10
Two that I'm deffo aware off, and both of these were last year: -> Scooch had a week at number 67 or something with their Eurovision song, then it re-entered at No5. -> Avril Lavigne's Girlfriend had a week at a really low position (74, I think), then again re-entered the chart in the Top 10.

Doctor Who [Series 4]
Mind you, we've got Rose returning towards the end. :yahoo::yahoo::yahoo:

Torchwood [Series 2]
And, hopefully, it won't be like last year's series - Blink aside, it was rubbish. (Not that I'm holding out much hope, especially since we've got Catherine Tate has the Doctor's assistant - and I didn't like her much in The Runaway Bride (2006's Christmas Doctor Who, of course.)

Desperate Housewives [Season 4 Discussion]
Imagine what it was like for us Heat readers - we knew what happened back in either October or November (can't remember which), and have had to keep it quiet.

England Thread - England v France
It can't be worse than what SGE did in the Australia game in 2003, can it? In case you've forgotten, he replaced the ENTIRE team at half-time!

England Thread - England v France
IIRC, this was on ITV the day England played Paraguay. I'd love to have seen the ratings it would have gotten if the South Americans had won.

The Buzzjack Hate Chart 62
Copy and pasted from last week's thread: 5 (worst) - Flo Rida 4 - Nickelback 3 - Soulja Boy 2 - H "two" O 1 - Basshunter

Music Video downloads to count towards the chart?
Let's face it - it's the only reason why Jessica Simpson's version of TBAMFW made No4 in 2005 - the song itself was sh!t.

Now That's What I Call Music 25 years
Everyone said the world was gonna end on 31/12/99, so they decided to get it so that they could have a Now CD in their collection. (Jess should point out that this is just a theory, and that she didn't think the world wouldn't see 2000.)

Grand Slam Sunday
They already do that at Barnet (I saw it on Gilette Soccer Saturday one week when Preston were playing away), and they already do that in rugby as well. (But then, if they do introduce it, it'll be dropped a few years later - like the marching the free kick 10yds up the pitch if players showed dissent. That was scrapped in 2005 after the non-rugby playing countries (i.e. most of them other than those in the Six Nations, Tri-Nations tournament and Argentina) failed to understand it.)

Dustin lyrics altered
Has soon I has heard the song - and the reference to Macedonia - I was wondering how long it would take the Greeks* to complain about it (if they hadn't already). Considering Ireland choose on February 23rd, I'm surprised it took this long. * - If it was Greece who complained. Which it probably was.

2 Become 1 and Let Love Lead The Way (which was part of a double A side with Holler) also didn't appear on a Now CD either. Has for me, all of them from 14.

Sky wins rights to most CL games
I agree - the makers of The Championship seems to have a few teams they like, and anyone else can forget about being the featured game. (I can't even remember when Preston was one of the featured teams.)

Chasing Cars - when did you buy it?!
iTunes says I downloaded it on 28th June 2006.

Zavvi to drop singles
Well, if you don't back it up and that happens, you deserve to lose the money for being so ridiciously stupid. As for the main topic of the thread - can't really say I'm surprised.

New England squad
Yes - I have one: Who?

BBC wins F1 rights
:cheer: - Much has I may love ITV's coverage of it, I hated having the breaks. Now just watch - from next year, the BBC will be getting complaints about the amount of sport they don't have on a Sunday.

Duffy - it's the only one I like. (And I agree with Justin - 'tis a bit early.)

Friday Night Project
If she "gets" it, like some people haven't done.

Sky wins rights to most CL games
Let's face it - they'll get more money by having teams like Chelsea, Barcelona and AS Roma in the Group stage then by having Wisla Krakow, Partizan Belgrade and Young Boys. That's why they have 3rd and 4th placed teams (those first teams I mentioned aren't top of their Leagues whereas the second lot are).

Most Disappointing Comeback Single Of Recent Years
It was tough for me - I was torn between 2 Hearts and Headlice. In the end, I chose the Spice Girls, simply 'cos they called it "classic Spice Girls".
