He went down in the penalty box and wasn't awarded a penalty, which meant that he dived. The referee actually had the balls to book someone for diving - simulation is, of course, a bookable offence. He then said he shouldn't have been booked, saying he's not a diver. Putting that aside, the ref obviously thought he was.)

I agree. My particular favourite was how people used that to explain why we got zip in 2003. Turkey were also involved with it - and they won the bloody thing (and eight other countries - including Spain and Poland - were also in Eurovision that year as well).

When you consider that the media has to pay something like £10,000 for the fixtures*, did you really think the FA would allow that to happen? * - No other country charges for their fixtures. It's a classic example of someone knowing the price of everything and the cost of nothing.

Eurovision is seen as a joke in Britain, and so no-one you've actually heard of will EVER represent us in the Contest.
