Aaaah, poor babies. Now they know how other teams feel when they go to Old Trafford and aren't given penalties. (And there's a ref school?)

    Yes, it was.
  3. 'Cos, of course, it's much simpler to download the albums and put them on their iPod rather than rip them from their albums. And - as Justin said - surely the Beatles fans would already have their albums (I've got their 12 main albums - i.e. from Please Please Me to Let It Be - plus 1) on CD and/or vinyl.
  4. As Matt said, the second leg's next week (cos of both Milanese teams playing at the San Siro). Not that she'll go, you understand.
  5. As hot as I think he is, I can honestly say that that wasn't a surprise.
  6. France usually try something different every year.
  7. It doesn't matter whether it's Timbaland or Danja - I just love how American producers are getting involved with Eurovision.

Just the amount of girls who want to **** them. (And they murdered the Jam for Radio 1 as well last year.)
  9. <pedant> Whatever's popular at the mo, since "pop" is short for "popular". </pedant> Something that I'll remember the 00s for (at least the middle part) - the introduction of downloads into the chart, therefore getting rid of most boy bands (save Westlife, McFly and Take That) and girl groups (save Girls Aloud and the Sugababes).
  10. I've actually looked this up - it was overturned after the referee admitted that it shouldn't have been a red card. (Oh, and he [Lampard] was booked for diving during last night's game. He went down in the penalty box and wasn't awarded a penalty, which meant that he dived. The referee actually had the balls to book someone for diving - simulation is, of course, a bookable offence. He then said he shouldn't have been booked, saying he's not a diver. Putting that aside, the ref obviously thought he was.)
  11. No, it's not - the draw for the running order will be done on March 17th.
  12. Oops - forgot those two. As well as Shayne Ward. Still not good though, is it, if we've had so few million selling singles that we run out of them before we run out of fingers?

    at both.
  14. I agree. My particular favourite was how people used that to explain why we got zip in 2003. Turkey were also involved with it - and they won the bloody thing (and eight other countries - including Spain and Poland - were also in Eurovision that year as well).
  15. At least you didn't say million sellers, 'cos all we've had in that category are: -> It Wasn't Me - Shaggy -> Pure And Simple - Hear'Say -> Anything Is Possible/Evergreen - Will Young -> Unchained Melody - Gareth Gates -> Do They Know It's Christmas - Band Aid 20 And, I'm not sure about this one, Tony Christie: Is This The Way To Amarillo. Therefore making a grand total of 5 million sellers in 8 years. Not that great, is it? (I may have missed a couple out, but I don't think we've had 8 million sellers this century.)
  16. Wikipedia's wrong? Where's the faint smilie?
  17. Well, d'uh.
  18. Might have been more successful if she hadn't had a bad throat all week and in the Final. (Plus we performed second that year - which would have needed an amazing performance, especially with Malta performing afterwards. Shame we didn't get one.)
  19. Not even Katrina and the Waves in 1997? Until the new voting style came in, that had the most points of any winning song (227).

This was at 51 last week, so how can it be a re-entry this week (I mean into the chart altogether, not the Top 50)?

    5pts - Soulja Boy 4pts - Nickelback 3pts - H "two" 0 2pts - Basshunter 1pt - Mark + Amy Two things: 1 - They must be bad, if a Westlife song in the Top 40 doesn't make it, and 2 - Yes, I've read the "funny" comments.
  22.:rofl::rofl::rofl: The FA being consistent? Don't make me laugh (more than I am already).
  23. When you consider that the media has to pay something like £10,000 for the fixtures*, did you really think the FA would allow that to happen? * - No other country charges for their fixtures. It's a classic example of someone knowing the price of everything and the cost of nothing.
  24. Eurovision is seen as a joke in Britain, and so no-one you've actually heard of will EVER represent us in the Contest.

Makes a change - a not bad tracklisting. Even if Soulja Boy and Leon Jackson are on it. (Also, I've just noticed - Steve Brookstein's the only X-Factor winner not to appear on a Now CD.)
