Another reason to hate The FA!
Even though it looked liked they were going down, I still would have deducted points from them.

Fearne Cotton - Chart Show
I agree - which is why I should do the chart. (My Scottish-mixed-with-Lancashire accent may be a problem, though.)

Another reason to hate The FA!
"Liverpool? Chelsea? We can't punish them. Middlesbrough? Who they?" Similiar to the reason why West Ham weren't chucked out of the PL for playing Tevez - I still don't think anyone knew *who* owned him - but kicked Bury out of the FA Cup for fielding an illegible player and docked points off AFC Wimbledon for the same reason.

Kerry Katona Blasts Atomic Kitten Reunion
 What about this one: "Katona is now married to professional scrounger Mark Croft." Two final things: 1 - Like everyone else, although I didn't really like Atomic Kitten, I preferred them after she left than before. 2 - It's such a shame that Kerry needs Atomic Kitten more than they need her, isn't it?

Fearne Cotton - Chart Show
Must have been them - 'cos I remember Wes doing the album chart, then playing most (but not all) of the songs between 21 and 40 from 4.30 to 5.30.

Liverpool out of the FA Cup
Remember Leicester in the 2002/03 season? Go into administration, and be rewarded with promotion to the Premiership. (Which is why the 10-point deduction was brought in.)

Carling Cup Final
Like I said a couple weeks or so ago, I had VIP treatment for the Scotland EC qualifiers vs Ukraine and Italy, and I think Saskia and myself were getting odd looks 'cos we were going out in time for the start of the second half.

Top 75 Singles / Albums Chart
I was reading this chart on the bus on the way home after work, and was just wondering - in a normal week (i.e. not affected by Christmas), when was the highest new entry this low? (I also want to point out that I have all the charts, but I just can't be bothered to look through them myself.)

Ireland Ireland Ireland
It all depends on whether Ireland qualify for the Final, since they're in separate SFs, and you can only vote in your SF (the Big Four and Serbia excluded, but they can only vote in one SF themselves).

100 Hits: 2000's
I know it's 2008, but isn't it still a little early for 100 Hits: 2000s?

UEFA Champions League [07-08 Thread]
My Scouse friend Jenny can't understand why they were rubbish against H&W and brilliant against Inter Milan.

Liverpool out of the FA Cup
Including fixing results and think they can get away with it.

Situtation and Crisis of Kosovo
If it was moved away from Belgrade (which I hope it doesn't), and Ukraine declined to host it, surely Russia should come next - they did finish 3rd last year, after all. And besides, people were saying that the Contest in 2004 would be moved after the terrorist attacks in Istanbul in late 2003 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2003_Istanbul_bombings) and the 2002 Winter Olympics would be moved from Utah after 9/11.

The Brits Effect
Rihanna wasn't nominated because she's from America. She wasn't nominated because she's from Barbados. Presumably the same people who are downloading Chasing Cars 20 months after release.

Fearne Cotton - Chart Show
To John 07 - You see that little symbol to the left of those boxes? If it's blue and points upwards, they're a bloke. If it's pink and has a cross underneath it (like mine), then they're a woman. Simple when you know how.

What was No.1 on the day you were born?
You don't know Eternal Flame? Remember the song Atomic Kitten followed up Whole Again with? That was a cover of this.

New Zealand Alba confirms its next entry: Title - Independent Love Song Act - Scarlett YouTube - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c7dyXfHcYw8 (The reason for the "Zealand" part crossed out is because some people reckon that New Alba is actually New Zealand. So we have cities called Dunedin, Auckland, Christchurch and Wellington. It's just a coincidence.)

Public uncertain over the potential of USB releases
They might already have done so - it's just the sales of USBs are so low. (PS - Anyone old enough to remember 8 tracks?)

The Buzzjack Hate Chart 57
Even ahead of such No1s like Barbie Girl*, Doctor Jones, Teletubbies Say Eh-Oh! and Axel F (the Crazy Frog's one)? * - Even 10 years later, I'm still trying to figure out how this was No1 ahead of Torn.

Ireland to broadcast both semi-finals
Actually, I don't have to - Spain's showing SF1, and it's probably gonna be on TVE Internacional. Which is available on Sky. I can see this channel, plus I can understand Spanish.

Liverpool out of the FA Cup
I doubt Milan - 11 points clear at the top of Serie A - will have problems with a club who: -> Have to go to a replay to beat Luton. -> Struggle against non-league Havant and Waterlooville. -> Lose to Barnsley. Scouse Jenny isn't given them much of a chance either. And when a Liverpool supporter doubts their team…

United Kingdom decides on March 1st
I assume it would be the same for BBC1 North West.:lol::lol::lol: (Second biggest laugh of the day - biggest was when I first asked Jenny about what happened on Saturday - she supports Liverpool, and we know what happened with them…)

Brits singles shortlist unveiled
I know it's different, but the public didn't vote in Eurovision in 1994, and we had one of the dullest winners ever that year. (Mind you, how the Hoosiers got in ahead of the Sugababes is unbelievable.) For me, it's gotta be Leona, although it'll probably be Take That. (If it was Rule The World, then I'd be f***ed, as I love both.)
