  1. An album on iTunes is £8, and the USB memory stick I have cost me £10 in Argos - which totals £18. Considering that USB sticks with an album costs £25, is anyone surprised that they haven't taken off? Especially has the memory stick is probably 512MB - and that's probably being generous*? (Mine's 1GB.) * - The News of the World did a promo one for the release of The Bourne Ultimatum back in August, and it was only a 32MB one (probably the smallest size they make).

    Same as last week, really: 1 - Soulja Boy 2 - Nickelback 3 - Mark + Amy 4 - T2 + Jodie 5 - Basshunter

Ignoring Gnarls Barkley, is there a quicker exit from the chart than this? (I'm aware of Maneater leaving the chart from No10, before it's pointed out.)
  4. I'd love to know how Jenny reacts to that tomorrow. And with them playing Inter Milan - who are 11 points clear in Serie A - Benitez will be lucky if he's still the manager of Liverpool on March 1st.
  5. I remember asking Jo how many Girls Aloud videos they say. Her response - "All of them." (I agreed, but said I thought it would have only been the uptempo ones - i.e. not including songs like Life Got Cold or I'll Stand By You.)
  6. And, if I remember rightly, didn't he also at least cowrite Bosnia's 2006 entry? It would explain the similarity between Lane Moje and Lejla.
  7. Let me get this right - even though Ireland aren't in SF2, they'll still be showing it? Jess now starts ringing round her Irish family.
  8. All Saints - Never Ever: 3-5-6-5-4-4-4-2-{1}-2-2-4-5-3-7-11-19-25-30-37-42-50-52-70 Hard to tell which one's odder - it turning around, or it spending three weeks at No4 on its way to the top.

  10. Due to the World Cup and European Championships, everyone in Europe knows that the United Kingdom is more than one country.
  11. But the songs won't be revealed until February 29th.

You mean like that Pigeon Detectives song that made lower(!) when rereleased?
  13. You'd be beaten by Lancashire's entry - the Deepdale Duck (PNE's mascot). Well, if Dustin the Turkey's entering Ireland's NF…
  14. You've forgotten at least three acts: -> Travis -> The Proclaimers -> Jess Carter (myself) Not that it would happen - Scotland would have to get their own TV station, and all that we've currently got is Scottish, Grampian, Border, BBC1 Scotland and BBC2 Scotland. And Scottish, Grampian and Border would have to leave ITV, join together and get rid of the English part of Border.
  15. And the Teletubbies, Aqua (1) and the Spice Girls (2). (1) - Except Turn Back Time. (2) - Except Viva Forever.

1 - Soulja Boy (worst - like it has been ever since the foundations for the Pyramids at Giza were being laid) 2 - Nickelback 3 - T2 + Jodie 4 - Mark + Amy 5 - Basshunter
  17. I thought Notts County would have been your next local team.
  18. So it's just coincidence that ALL the former Yugoslav countries gave their 12s to Serbia last year?
  19. Despite being a Man City fan - and therefore dispising Man United - Jo has said that she will seriously considering whacking any fans who boo during the silence on Sunday. (Mind you, they'll probably be unaware than Man City were affected by it - Frank Swift used to play for them.) I agree. It was absolutely the right idea not choosing David Beckham. Since the Croatia game, he's only played two friendlies. Players like Gerard have played every week (sometimes, twice a week) since then. Although he kept himself fit, there's no substitute for match fitness other than playing matches. Otherwise, pre-season friendlies should be scrapped. During the WC qualifiers, I was lucky enough to be able to get VIP treatment to a couple of Scotland games. I swear some people were looking at Saskia and myself oddly for preferring to see the game rather than enjoy the food.

At this stage - after 25 games - Sunderland were on 10 points.
  21. And after the idea to play PL games overseas, at least they've come up with a half decent idea. I've always found it bizarre that you can name seven subs in the Champions League/UEFA Cup but only five in the PL/cup games.
  22. And, whilst the rich teams are getting richer, the poor ones will be made even poorer. Such as League 1's Bournemouth, who are the latest team to go into administration. Mind you, the Premier League probably don't think that there's football in England outside the Premier League. (And my friend Jo, who's never missed a Man City home game since she was 11 - she's now 27 - has said that she would refuse to go to her team's overseas game, even if they were the home team.)
  23. Not true - the winners in 2000, Denmark, won it in 1963. (Mind you, they didn't need their Norwegian cousins to change their votes for them to win.):rofl::rofl: Or a repeat of that Celebrity Shark Bait that, I believe, ITV did in 2005. Only this time, they're not in cages. The first one eaten by a shark loses.

If her and Reggie go, can I present the Chart show? AND I've got experience of radio work as well, having done some student radio when I was at University. And I know how I'll make the chart better: play all the songs (regardless of how long they've been on the chart), give more time to the album chart, and restore the full countdown just before playing the No1.
  25. Even though I was gonna back Ireland tonight anyway - simply 'cos my mum's Irish (and therefore means that I'm half-Irish).
