Boxing Day football
Preston lost again yesterday. :( We made it seem like we were in League 1 last year, not Scunthorpe. At this rate, we'll be in League 1 next year. :(

The Buzzjack Hate Chart 49
He's in the chart, is he not? Just because he's not in their chart doesn't mean that he's not eligible, they may like it.* Anyway, my chart: 1 - Soulja Boy (worst) :puke2: 2 - Westlife 3 - T2 featuring Jodie 4 - Rihanna and Ne-Yo 5 - Shaun The Sheep * - He may not appear in my chart, but I don't like it: it's just not as bad as any of the ones that are.

Man Utd player arrested on rape claim
Weren't a few Newcastle players accused of raping someone when they were staying in London for a game a few years back?
-
The UK Singles Chart, Four Years Ago
I so would have loved that to have been Christmas No1 in 1998. Chef: "Suck on my chocolate salty balls. Stick 'em in your mouth and suck 'em." BBC Announcer: "And now, the Queen's speech."

Predict some Number 1 singles of 2008
Nope - Beautiful by Christina Aguilera kept it off the top. Yup. (IIrc, there was another version of Boys Of Summer released in 2003. It failed to make the Top 50 - again, iIrc. And it was a better version - lack of airplay meant it failed to make higher.)

Gary Barlow for the United Kingdom?
Wouldn't there be the slight problem of the X Factor tour in March 2008, therefore keeping them out of the National Final (also to be held in March 2008 - not yet confirmed, but it's been in March for years, so why change it now)?

Predict some Number 1 singles of 2008
I know of Heaven (which I liked), but what's the other one? (Mind you, don't even get me started on his version of Annie Lennox's Why?)

The UK Singles Chart, Four Years Ago
Why this chart, I don't here you ask? Simple - it was the last Christmas No1 that wasn't a charity song (2004) or from a talent show (2005 onwards). 1: Mad World - Michael Andrews fetauring Gary Jules FtpY5_HASM8 2: Christmas Time (Don't Let The Bells End) - The Darkness W-eslNwGXrI 3: Changes - Ozzy and Kelly Osbourne rtzy8uHd4sM 4: Proper Chrimbo! - Bo Selecta! gUxxXIwGvK0 5: Happy Xmas (War Is Over) - The Idols UBOPceQ-Aro Just think: this was meant to be 2003's Christmas No1. 6: Leave Right Now - Will Young A6uP4gBrvX8 7: Shut Up - Black Eyed Peas Wnkolr5ipcE 8: Ladies Night - Atomic Kitten X1iOZuY9sEM It's hard to tell which cover was more ill-advised: this or No11. 9: I'm Your Man - Shane Richie 4Lztf1GzIdQ 10: Too Lost In You - Sugababes igm8AihV51Q 11: Signed Sealed Delievered (I'm Yours) - Blue featuring Stevie Wonder and Angie Stone FGBWkrE91fw 12: Feelin' Fine - Ultrabeat FSbmEkWqTYY 13: Santa's List - Cliff Richard tQNKnr3vN78 14: Mandy - Westlife lxeKT_U3bfw 15: Have A Cheeky Christmas - Cheeky Girls 0uizWNy3Q1I 16: Hey Ya! - Outkast XvIw5ZqC1ms 17: The Closest Thing To Crazy - Katie Melua 3Lgq57pFy18 18: My Immortal - Evanescence YxQrPXPSVhQ 19: Swing Low - UB40 yU091YLgC9Q 20: Jump - Girls Aloud ltkQstPxrtY

Looking for old airplay charts from Dec 2000 and Jan 2001
I didn't buy the single, didn't read Kerrang! and/or Q, and have never listened to XFM, having never lived in London, yet I remember the song. (It helps that, despite the above, I am a bit of a rock chick, though. It also helps that it was on Now 48 - which I did buy - as well.)

Top 75 Singles/Albums Charts
Whatever you fancy. (Just as long as it's not the X-Factor song - although you won't be able to do that until Wednesday.)
-
The Buzzjack Hate Chart 48
1 - Soulja Boy (we have a new No1 in my hate chart) 2 - Ayo Technology 3 - Westlife 4 - T2 featuring Jodie 5 - Nickelback I agree with superbossanova - why are people voting for songs that aren't in the Top 75 anymore? (Just above this is a vote for the Spice Girls - they aren't in the Top 75.)

2007: The Good & The Bad
:rofl::rofl::rofl: (And it's true - talk about a long wait - at that rate, I'm gonna be 38 when it comes out!)

BuzzJack Record Of The Year 2007 [Results In First Post]
Lot of X's here, aren't there? (XX being the female chromosone.)

Looking for old airplay charts from Dec 2000 and Jan 2001
Considering that it was No1, it's pretty low.

Music Purchases This Week: Week Beginning 10/12/07
F*** all, in all three categories. (Not strictly true - I've brought a couple albums, but one's for Ruby and the other's for Fiona, both as presents.)
-
UK Charts, do sales include N Ireland?
I don't - one of my best friends Fiona was born and raised in Belfast. (According to her, she lived in the "only quiet area of town during the Troubles".)
-
The Biggest Selling UK Christmas Singles
Which is enough to make it a Christmas song, of course.
-
Top 40 21st Century Eurovision
But not the worst one - that's gotta be Italy 1990. :puke: Or Greece 2005. :puke: (Which is odd - I hate that song, but love 2001's, which has the same singer.)

Mourinho says "no" to England job...
Neither does Tottenham's current manager. Mind you, he *does* have an English/Spanish speaker to help him. Edit - Just remembered that he can speak English: he just doesn't wanna speak it when talking to the media.
-
BuzzJack Record Of The Year 2007 [Results In First Post]
1 - Mutya Buena (fave) 2 - 30 Seconds To Mars 3 - Avril Lavigne (although When You're Gone was better) 4 - Beyonce and Shakira 5 - Newton Faulkner 6 - Arctic Monkeys 7 - KT Tunstall 8 - Manic Street Preachers 9 - Spice Girls 10 - Shayne Ward (least fave)

Joe Calzaghe wins Sports Personality
You forgot that they had details of Ferrari's car designs as well. (PS - In the second-last race, they put the wrong tyres on for a rainy track.)
-
Posters Chart
God, some people *really* need to get out more.

Next Weeks No.1
Tbh, I don't care what's no1 as long as it isn't Soulja Boy.
- South Park

Heroes Series 1
I did - but back in June/July/whenever it was originally shown on Sci-Fi Channel (the only time I've ever watched that channel).
