  1. ANOTHER GH album? What would that be - their 7th?
  2. 1 - Girls Aloud <- Fave of the 10 2 - Groove Armada featuring Mutya Buena 3 - Amy Whinehouse (as Ruby spells her name) 4 - Mason vs Princess Superstar 5 - Bloc Party 6 - Westlife (I'd never thought it'd be this high) 7 - James Blunt 8 - Garbage 9 - Amerie 10 - MIA
  3. :( I would have loved to have played - and, with the way we've been playing recently, beaten - you lot in the summer.
  4. Gives me more time then. :)
  5. And how many of those tickets went to people who would sell them on eBay? (Jess now goes to eBay and looks. Then sees that its 587.)

Number 5's a flop? One of the best predictions of the year. (Obviously, no-one would have known in July that Leona Lewis would have the second-longest running No1 of the year.)

Weren't we told we COULDN'T vote for this?

No chance of the Pogues being given the No1 spot they should have had 20 years ago, then? :(

Same as last week: 5 - 50 Cent (most hated) 4 - Soulja Boy 3 - Westlife 2 - Spice Girls 1 - Dizzee Rascal (Well, nearly the same - Soulja Boy's jumped above Westlife and is now challenging Ayo Technology for the unwanted No1 spot.)
  10. Afaik, she's never represented anybody but Sweden. (Admittedly, we've had Swedes representing Estonia - like in 02 and 06 - but she's not one of them.)
  11. New Alba will be entering again. We just need time to figure out what we'll be entering. (And that'll probably happen by Wednesday.)

It's simple why they do it - you send it in, ITV shows it, you get £250 from them.

Well, Enter Shikari have a member called Liam Clewlow. I'm willing to bet it's him.

    As will I.

More's the pity. Strange - they were last year. And I assume that I've imagined the three entries for Merry Xmas Everybody that are by Slade on iTunes aren't actually there.

Nope - for downloads to count, they have to cost at least 40p. This song is 40p below that figure, so it won't be included - even if the entire population of the United Kingdom brought it.
  17. Because of all the criticism they get,:dance::dance::dance:
  18. 1 - The Fray <- Best 2 - Kylie Minogue 3 - Hard-Fi 4 - Christina Aguilera 5 - T2 featuring Jodie 6 - Biffy Clyro 7 - Stereophonics 8 - Peter Bjorn and John 9 - Sophie Ellis Bextor (And I thought it was called "Cat Chew") 10 - Eve
  19. And to make sure that the USA and Mexico are as close as you can get to automatically qualifying without hosting it.
  20. Maybe they would have qualified if they didn't believe their publicity. And maybe if the FA had hired someone other than McClaren - still, it gave us Scots something to laugh at.

After what I downloaded in 2005 and 2006, I doubt there's any decent Christmas songs that I haven't already got. (Plus, I got one of those Christmas CDs back in 2003 and it's knocking about my flat somewhere.)

Oh please God no - I already hate him after the way he left Preston and took half the boardroom with him.

I'm surprised this isn't higher - I was on bored and on iTunes the other day, so I decided to see what was happening on the Irish chart, and this was No15.

    Limiting myself to just the Top 40: 5 - 50 Cent (most hated) 4 - Westlife 3 - Soulja Boy 2 - Spice Girls 1 - Dizzee Rascal

Clearly nine weeks was long enough before a new single was released. Much as I've never liked the Spice Girls - save Viva Forever - I'm surprised by this. Especially since their album made No2 (mind you, not really a good idea to release the song on an album before the song comes out). Anyone else reckon this will be Top 40 next week? (And also how about the Pogues in the Top 75 next week? Especially since it's at 81 this week.)
