2003 Missing Song Nominations
You have to remember that, if you don't like Sophie Ellis-Bextor, you're wrong. Which means I'm wrong - I don't like anything from her other than Groovejet and Murder On The Dancefloor.

Top 75 Single/Album Charts + Comps
Well, it is called Falling Down… Seriously - at least it wasn't at No1 three weeks ago. Like the song at No23.
-
ESC Simulator 2009
Like the Czech Republic's gonna finish above Israel. The latter will qualify, the former finishing bottom.
-
Eurovision In Concert
I love that - it's in the Netherlands, yet the Dutch act isn't confirmed. (I could understand if their song was rubbish, but I don't think it does. And they've got a good chance of qualifying - they're at the end of their Semifinal.)

Skint ITV axes NTAs
But if the BBC offer him more money than ITV (which they probably will, considering how screwed ITV are money-wise), I doubt he'll stay. But they'll probably get someone like Graham Norton or Jonathan Ross to do it.

amazon.co.uk download chart
256 kbps? That's the same as iTunes (well, iTunes Plus - which covers most of them now anyway).

Political correctness gone mad ??
Thank god someone agrees with me. Losing does not equal a tragedy. How is losing a game anywhere near comparable to 9/11? The biggest misuse I hate, though, is "epic". Do people using it to describe things know what it actually means? "Literally" is also hugely misused as well.

Downloads - Market share?
They surveyed 515 users? It's almost like those commercials that say "67% agreed, 30 women tested".

Georgian song lyrics don't comply...
So they withdrew, decided to enter after all (due to Russia giving them their 12 in Junior Eurovision - who didn't see that coming?), and have now withdrawn again? With the exception of the first part, it sounds like Lebanon in 2005 (who withdrew cos they didn't want to show the Israeli entry).

ESC Simulator 2009
That's because the Contest is open to the members of the European Broadcasting Union - which also includes the Middle East and Africa (in 1980, Morocco took part, and 1976 almost saw Tunisia enter - they withdrew, after other Arab nations put pressure on them to do so, since Israel were also taking part in it). I also think you'll find that Russia and Turkey have land in Europe as well.

OFFICIAL COMIC RELIEF NEWS: The Single For 2009
Yup - a bigger disaster than that plane that crashed in the Netherlands last month.

Youtube to ban all UK music videos
It is just us in the United Kingdom.
-
ITV's FA Cup coverage...
Something I'm surprised with - they didn't call the Semifinals the Seventh Round (after all, I don't think the BBC called the Quarterfinals the Sixth Round).

Spotify boss: 'Fans don't need CDs'
"Fans don't need CDs", then? Then I obviously didn't need the best part of £90 that I spent on them yesterday. There was also a bit about this in the Sun today. It said, basically, "is this the end of CDs and downloads?". Am I, then, the only person who doesn't spend her entire waking day on a computer?

Songs re-entering the Charts since 2007
Nope - it was 2006. And it was re-released to cash tie in with his appearance on Celeb BB.

Charity Singles
For me: -> Band Aid 20: Do They Know It's Christmas? - Both for the cause and completionist reasons (I already had the 1984 and 1989 (:puke:) versions). -> McFly: All About You/You've Got A Friend - The (first) song. -> Tony Christie: (Is This The Way To) Amarillo - The cause. It should be noted that there I plenty that I have on compilation CDs. For which, read: "Now That's What I Call Music" whatever.

The Carling Cup Final Thread
And, just think, they had less time to be depressed travelling home this time. Unlike in 2002, when they lost the Final (of the same competition) and had to travel home from Cardiff depressed.

Disabled kids show host draws criticism
Just out of curiosity - if the parent is out with the child and sees a person with no/part of an arm, do they cover their child's eyes?
-
Now That's What I Call Music Vol. 72
No - it's released the Monday before Good Friday. Hence it's appearance on St Paddy's Day last year ('cos of Easter being virtually as early as it can be).
-
iTunes Thread: March 2009
And just think - if you buy a Red Nose costing £1, at least 70p of it goes to Comic Relief. (A hell of a lot more than the 34% - or whatever - that Hero gave. Especially when you consider that - I believe - all the profits for the poppies goes to the Poppy Appeal.)

Songs re-entering the Charts since 2007
Another one: -> Rogue Traders: Voodoo Child It re-entered the charts due to its use in the Doctor Who episode The Sound Of Drums (at the end, when the Toclofane swarmed the earth and killed a tenth of the population).
-
The Carling Cup Final Thread
I would like that too - how can a team that finishes fourth in the league win the Champions League? But, of course, it's not gonna happen.
-
Songs re-entering the Charts since 2007
And that's enough for it to re-enter the charts? Also, a couple others: -> Radiohead: Creep (re-entered due to their catalogue being able to be downloaded) -> Snow Patrol: Run (possibly because of the then-unavailable Leona Lewis version of it)

Heroes || Season Five
Well, they've got to do *something* with it, now that Obama's closing it.
-
Demons
Well, we might have had a second series of it if (a) it wasn't rubbish, and (b) all of ITV's shares combined weren't worth less than their programming division.
