I've got one thing to say - am I the only one who thinks that people are willing to pay to STREAM music - meaning that you're not even getting a digital file of it. :huh:

But you don't say that you're 18, do you? The thing is, we use the Gregorian calendar, and that doesn't have a Year Zero: it went from 1BC straight to AD1. (Although how they when to do that is unknown.)

You've got to bear in mind that the guy who said it claims that the First World War came around due to Germany being jealous of our empire. When I did the First World War in school, I was taught that it was the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand that kickstarted it.

No - it's our fault, apparently. Steven A Grasse - the author of the book called Evil Empire: 101 Ways That England Ruined the World - said that capitalism was invented by Adam Smith. And, since he was a Scotsman, it's Britain's fault. Mind you, the same bloke says that global warming's our fault (due to the Industrial Revolution), World War I was due to Germany wanting an Empire like we had (the matter of an Austrian Archduke being shot in Sarajevo is irrelevant), and that the Vietnam War was because we set the world trend for world colonisation (and thus France would never have colonised Vietnam*). I've so got to try and find his book - it's apparently quite funny. * - This is funny: the French then called the Americans for helped, then got the f*** out as soon as America arrived.

Something that annoys me - people saying that Waterloo is the best Eurovision song ever, simply because of what happened to them afterwards. (Not forgetting that their next single came - I think - a year after they won the contest.) I've downloaded all the songs, and I don't think it's even my favourite Swedish entry, or my favourite entry from 1974.

At least it's funnier than the Saturdays' video. And, considering that it's got two off Gavin and Stacey, it wouldn't surprise if this is the third time in a row where the other Comic Relief single does better than the one that opens the show.

Having thought about this: -> Anything from Boyzone. -> Anything from B*Witched. -> Anything from Westlife. -> Anything from the Spice Girls (except Viva Forever). -> Anything from Steps.

Then you'd quickly go out of business - everyone would download the tracks one by one, so has to get them for nothing. I don't think you thought that one through.

I've only been watching it if there's been nothing else on worth watching. Get him on, and I defintely won't be watching it.

They weren't in 2005. And besides, now I'm virtually limited to downloading, since HMV is now the only place that sells singles (and they rarely have more than a handful put together!).
