Demons
And it was in a section about a character called… Ruby. I thought my friend Ruby lacked imagination when she chose that song as her ringtone.

Prince Harry uses offensive racist language
Can somebody tell me how its news that Prince Charles calls someone Sooty - which, btw, is his nickname - and is considered racist? By that token, my mum should feel offended whenever anyone calls her "Paddy" - she doesn't mind it, and has that nickname because she's from Ireland.

Number 1 Countdown
First of all, apologies if this has already been answered, but are the Elvis No1s in 2005 going to have separate entries, or will they be combined? (Actually, the same applies to the five or so songs that have been No1 in the same format in two discintly separate runs.)

WHSmith Music News
And that's why I buy a lot of my CDs/DVDs/games off the Internet. (Or in Asda, which put them in a security box.)

Woolies Update
There are two main reasons for Woolies going out of business. One is the credit crunch. And the other one - Wilkinson's selling stuff cheaper than Woolies did.

Chart Fact
Well, what do you expect - any vaguely half-decent song comes along, and suddenly it's the greatest thing since sliced bread. And I have experience of this - I absolutely dispise I Kissed A Girl, and some people were treating it like it was the best thing that ever happened.

Simultaneous Top Ten Hits
And, in 2003, she helped Sean Paul achieve an even rarer double - two appearances in the Top Three. And just watch - someone's gonna come along and post the complete list.

BRITs Best British Single - who'll make the long list?
If they are, it's only the guy - Katie's from Manchester.

Top 75 Singles + Albums/Comps
Well, that's not gonna take much effort, considering there's been TWO charts this year.
-
WHSmith Music News
I'm not actually surprised - the WHSmiths in Preston has had the same sticker on most of them since about the beginning of December. AND to show how bothered they are, the sticker saying the CD is out of stock doesn't even make sense - what the f*** does "temporarily out stock" mean?

-> The Official Top 75 End of Year Single Chart 2008
Why was this soooo much higher in the R1 chart of 2008? I wanna know what excuse - if any - they used for having it about 30 places higher than in reality.

How many football league clubs can you name?
Not wishing to brag - 68/72. (Mind you, it's kinda embarrassing that three of the teams I missed are localish teams: Stockport, Oldham and Macclesfield. Grimsby was the other one.)

ITV's FA Cup coverage...
"What's that? You want to show Chelsea drawing with Southend? When we've spent so much time designing the graphics and sh!t for a game we're showing a few hours earlier *anyway*?" At least with the BBC, they were able to quickly change. After all, in September 2007, they were never going to have Portsmouth v Reading as a featured match.

Which will be the next year without an X-Factor Xmas #1?
I don't know how many people are aware of this, but Steve Brookstein's single eventually became a charity single - he said he'd give the proceeds to the Boxing Day Tsunami Relief fund.

Woolies Closure Schedule
And there goes part of my history (my first ever job was there). :( My local Woolies is one of the first to go. Not even close - the first one opened in November 1909.

General Football Discussion Thread
I surely can't be alone in wondering how the f*** the three Italian clubs all got English teams.

Pop Acts That Never Quite Made It..
How about One True Voice? Even with their connection to television, they still flopped pretty badly. And to think that they were supposed to be bigger than Girls Aloud. :kink:

The Top 40 Before Downloads Alone 16th Dec 2008
Shouldn't this be under the name "Geraldine", as it's being released under his character's name?
-
2008's flops
Leon Jackson - OK, so he had a No3 single, but he was (a) beaten by a singer from a parody of talent shows, and (B) had an album I don't even remember troubling the higher reaches of the chart.

Lost || Season 5

Does it matter if the pound reaches 1 to 1 with the Euro?
And what's to say that the Queen won't be the British design for the coins? (Whilst the notes are the same, the obverse side of the coins have a different design in each country.) You should see some of the notes from Scotland and Northern Ireland.

Does it matter if the pound reaches 1 to 1 with the Euro?
Double post.

Ban XF sales from the Xmas chart
Yup, there are - the biggest one being Saturday's Strictly Come Dancing. Apparently more important than the pound being almost equal in value to the Euro.

Lost || Season 5
Seeing as he only appeared in one episode since he died, I'm doubting that's going to happen.
