  1. Why, are you scared of horses? :P ;) Thanks for the info! The Deluxe edition is only slightly more attractive. I can watch all of Will's videos on youtube or the O/S, incl. AIP, which is not included, bah humbug. :P
  2. A little snippet. I cannot scan, I'm afraid, but in this week's New magazine there's a nice picture of Will with Gareth Gates at V Festival. Shame they don't mention that he performed, but it's a really nice photo in which they both look happy and relaxed in each other's company. :) Love Will's beard.

Thanks for that, this was a brilliant read. I loved both, Killing Me Softly and Three Lions, so at the time I would have been happy for either of them to top the charts - not that I remember!!

I'm in a different office from usual today and they've got the radio on all day (Magic). I heard You and I this morning, and just now they played Grace. :) I guess Heart and Magic are the 2 stations most "faithful" to Will, and he must slowly be clocking up some royalties from all the airplay they keep giving him. :) Btw, as I don't listen to the radio much, I only ever seem to hear WAI and LRN, so the two mentioned above made a nice change. I guess LRN and WAI must be Will's most-played songs on the British airwaves.
  5. Yes, I admit I went to see this sub-standard rom-com   - purely to unwind, and because I love Katherine Heigl. Anyway, imagine my delight when Pocketful of Sunshine came on in the middle of the film. :D I suddenly got a huge grin on my face. :D Shame, though, that the song couldn't have been on a better movie. Maybe it'll make some other appearances. I think one of Natasha's song was in "27 Dresses", too, or am I mistaken?

Old news is still new to those who'd never heard it! :D Like me, so thank you! :)

Enjoy, everyone who is going. :)
  8. Thanks for posting, TT. :) I think they made a mistake in one bit of the update, they left out some words: "and we’re giving fans signed up to Will’s official forum and mailing list first dibs on really rubbish tickets!" :P

Whitney. I'm not a fan of Madonna (though I recognise her talent and business acumen). With Mariah, I preferred her earlier material. In regard to Whitney, I'm glad she's managed to pull herself back from the brink of self-destruction and I hope that soulful voice is back at its best. :)

I'm hoping MITM climbs to No. 1, one of my favourite Michael Jackson songs. It only got to No. 21 when it was originally released in the UK. I bought "Number Ones" in HMV today (my first MJ album), it was their last but one MJ CD they had left, apparently they sold 70 copies of "Thriller" that morning. Went to another HMV and they had nothing. Downloaded "Bad" and selected tracks from "Dangerous". His style is so varied, from soul and funk to rock and r'n'b or "straight pop".
  11. Although I personally would go for Stranger In Moscow if I had my own list, I voted for MITM. There's an amazing a cappella version of it by a Filipino Madrigal choir on youtube.
  12. I wonder whether he'll sing Blame It On The Boogie at Glasto.

Erm, I reckon they ripped most of their info from the Times rich list. I doubt they put any real effort into compiling the list by doing their own research. I agree they must surely have underestimated Darius's wealth, for instance.

Who knows? But I reckon he knows he can sell out a theatre tour, but would perhaps struggle to fill arenas, especially in the current economic climate. The tickets do seem to have sold very well so far, with some venues sold out and others nearly full. I myself cannot afford to go this time. I might be able to buy a ticket nearer the time, but to be honest, I also have other priorities these days.
  15. Looks like a celeb audience did get to see those fruits!

Coming in even later, I wish you all the best and that the year ahead brings much joy and inner sunshine. :)
  17. Same from me! :) Sorry for being lazy and quoting. Everyone trying to get tix today and Friday, good luck! :D As for me, I'm stuck at work, broke (I know, I'm always broke  ) but also not too worried. The rush for tickets for Will isn't nearly as bad as it used to be 5 years ago, or even 3 years ago, when he did the Keep On tour. I will have to wait till August before I'll have money to spare for a ticket, but will probably wait till October. I know, I'll never get to be 3rd row, or even better, that way, but hey ho.

Just heard Grace on the radio at work. :D

Thanks for explaining, and suggy, too. :) That's certainly a new one to me. I guess you do that for 11 months of the year - on the 1st of April you play tricks on people and tell porkies instead! :P

So has *Amanda* been banned from DS? I think she "sounds" like a woman - or maybe a very bitchy gay guy. And did "she" really admit to being Pumpkin? Because if she/h is/was that person, too, she/he seems to have gone off Ronan as well, or is pretending to be (according to some old *Amanda* posts on DS), just so as to disguise. Some people... Ok, enough from me on this topic, it certainly does my head in. Really must go home, it's getting dark, I'd promised myself to leave before sunset. :)

What do you mean by that? I never normally look at calendar threads, but I was bored. Must do some work... P.S. I'm wishing my life away and hoping for April, as I'll see my  nephew  from the 3rd onwards. :)

That's fantastic! I'm elated for you. I hope there'll be more announced. :) When I read "bestival" in the headline I thought: great, Bestival (on the Isle of Man) is still on, despite the mud slide last year, so I was feeling happy for a certain Gill, but obviously, it's a different location. Must be hard at times for fans like Gill who live in a fairly remote place, or on an island. I realise how lucky I am, often, as a Londoner. :) Can't get to Dorset myself, in fact I've decided I'll be a penny-pinching old miser this year and won't go to any gigs at all. Finally have to do something about my debt. Anyway, how about Glastonbury two years in a row? :yahoo: And maybe he'll do V or T again.

Marguerite - I still don't understand why people overreacted so strongly. And I did look at the person's posting history. No, they're not your typical gushing, love-everything-about-Will person. and we do have A LOT of people like that on D, plus the more analytical ones, the worriers (I'm often one of those), the ones who subtly domineer the site (yes, it's "ruled" by a few, it's just like that, can't be helped, it's true for most sites I've been a member off) etc. This "sky" had a mixture of opinions in the past, some good, some not so good. If this person has now been banned, I think the person who told them to "p*** off" should perhaps be given a warning for real rudeness. If "sky" was indeed the same as *Amanda*, then they must be a rather good actor/actress, as they had a very different "tone of voice" in their posts.

Are you talking about "sky"? If so, did they say anything worse than calling Will false? In my opinion, the reaction to that by one Devoted member, i.e. asking them to "p*** off" was worse. And others joined in, agreeing with her. No wonder "sky" was rather hurt, I would be, too. So he overreacted in response saying that silly thing about him knowing more bla bla... OK, I didn't see the whole programme, so my opinion is purely based on the 3 clips that were available on the itv website. Just from those, I can see where "sky" is coming from. However, I wouldn't go so far as to call Will "false", but he's guarded and has a certain facade firmly in place - pretty much like that reviewer said: None of us know Will and we never will "get to know" him, not even if he went on Big Brother. He's a private person and wants to remain that way. Fair dos. Obviously, this "sky" person expected/hoped for something more and was disappointed. I know I won't be, as I expect him to be guarded, but with just enough openness and honesty to keep us interested. :D
