Well, what can I say after that? The weather was okay, it didn't rain and sun came out a few times. Not too warm, though. Will was on top form, looked gorgeous and all that, so that one gets a smile. :) Expectation fulfilled. But that's pretty much where it ends. 3 songs? Pah! After a few had sung only 2 (incl. James Morrison) I decided to lower my expectations to 2 songs... well, I guess you all know what happened there. :( :o Just wish I had brought my binoculars. I was just yards away from Will - about 400 yards! :lol: The reception was rather lukewarm. I guess that had little to do with Will, though, but everything with the song choice. If he had done 2 (as clear had been originally planned), the unfamiliarity with SIO would have been balanced with the popularity of Leave Right Now. As for the rest of the concert, I struggled to enjoy anbody else after Will had gone. The only thing that made up for Will's early exit was that he was immediately followed by Natasha, my other top favourite, but alas, her set was cut short, too, though I thought she sang brilliantly. After that I was licking my wounds for quite a while before I could enjoy anything again. Out of the rest, I enjoyed James M, the ALW section, and Take That best. And the Ballet was a definite highlight, too. Lili Allen was alright and Joss Stone was alright for one song, the rest was a bit. :blink: I think she has a brilliant voice but she just overdoes it. Bottom line: never again will I spend that many pennies on such a concert. Being at Wembley stadium for the first time was kind of special, though, but I think I wouldn't got there for a concert again, unless I had a much better seat.

Thought I'd start a thread about this. Firstly, I hope the weather is nice and warm and sunny. Secondly, I hope Will's on top form, vocally, entertainment-wise, confidence-wise and in great spirits. Thirdly, I hope he sings 3 songs that I really like. Fourthly, I expect him to be received well by the crowd. I know that's rather general, but as far as specific songs go, I really can't think what I'm expecting. Maybe others can. Who's going? I wasn't going to originally, but I am now after all. :) EDIT: P.S. As far as the rest of the concert is concert, I hope and think I'll enjoy the English National Ballet, Andrew Lloyd Webber's slot, Take That and Natasha Bedingfield. Also looking forward to Elton John, The Feeling, Joss Stone, James Morrison and Lily Allen.

Who knows, maybe we can go one up this week. Plenty to talk about, certainly.

I also got mine this morning from McColls. My "local" one was inside a hospital! :o :blink: The Royal London Hospital, to be exact. At first I thought it cannot be, surely it must be somewhere along the road from it, but it turned out to be true! Anyway, I can watch the DVD in peace tonight. I've read that it's an edited version. I hope they haven't left out too much, as I'm telly-free and I was busy with other things yesterday evening (work, to be precise!) so I couldn't even go round a friend's to watch it. Well, going back to the original question now, Will's kind of answered that one. Seems it'll be 2008 before we get to hear new music from him. Personally, I don't mind, I can wait. Plenty of things to do and other things - i.e. other than Will - to spend my money on. :)
