    Thanks.

I didn't know this song, so can't compare it to the original. I think it's a bit boring, i.e. the song, with the melody being a bit bland. Gareth sounds good, though. He sounds more grownup than I've ever heard him, in fact at times I didn't even recognise his voice. The lyrics are rather poignant. I wonder whether they are about a specific person.

EDIT: just watching POTOS. Unfortunately the sound quality isn't too good, but from what I can hear, I think it might be one of Gareth's best songs yet. :)

EDIT No. 2: :D Just seen the video for AOMS and I think it's rather good. My favourite bit is the one with the heavily tattooed daddy with his baby strapped to his front. Bless! :)

  2. I managed to catch it as well. Just loved it. Yet another dimension to Gareth's voice

Had to laugh at them trying to get him to release it. Don't think Gareth was having any of it though

Haven't heard it (don't get much of chance to listen to the radio during the week), but as far as releasing it goes, could be a b-side! Other's have been known to put songs that were supposed to be one-off covers on b-sides of singles. I'm thinking Natasha B and Will, for instance.

Thanks to whoever mentioned Gareth's myspace for the vid. Will go and see that some time soon.

  4. Hello guys! Have been unable to post for aaaages!

I'm back now :cheer: - thanks for helping me out, suggy.

Well done, everyone, on keeping this forum at the top of the list. I like to think I've helped a little, at least, by reading. :)

Ciao for now. I probably won't post much, just butt in occasionally if I have something to say, otherwise I'll still mainly read.

  5. This is probably really old news, but I was watching a film called 'Beyond the Sea' at the weekend. It was the life story of a singer from the 60's called Bobby Darin

Well.........he sang a song in the film and the words were the words that Will recites on the tour. Think it may be called 'That is all' because Kevin Spacey kept repeating the chorus. Sorry if it's old info

Oh, I've got that film on DVD! :cheer: Must watch it again, I so want to hear the melody to that. :)

  6. Haven't seen this beauty for a while

Don't you just feel the urge to kiss that bit of belly/abdomen he's displaying?

And thanks for this one -

    Never seen it before! :o

Erm, otherwise I have nothing to contribute to this thread, i.e. I have no piccies to post at the mo, sorry.

  7.

I say we ban old people from having their heating on so they freeze to death and don't go out and buy this durge.

Wrong tactic. If we ban their heating, they will go out before they freeze to death and buy this, because it'll be warmer in the shops!

  8. Speaking of hair,

H is for "Hair gone today, back tomorrow"

  9. Oh, deep joy - my plaster's off! :D :D

That's great news, Dot, and you didn't have the plaster for very long, did you? I broke my arm last December and was only in plaster for 12 days! :o Super fast healing! I hope you make a full recovery. :)

  10. That's a long list  but as you say, Graham, there are many more.

  11. Loved your writeups, Graham. :D

Good list, though a few should have been higher, in my opinion. Jessica Garlick has a stunning voice and her single was fab and one of the best British Eurovision entries ever! (I bought a copy.)

Well done, Will and Lemar on their respective positions.

  12. I can't see Will ever sitting still for long though - don't you remember when he took the 9 months out in 2003 and we felt it was going to be so quiet. Whilst he may not have been hitting the headlines, what did he do - Feetbeat and other charity events etc, plus Exeter, plus FC. This time he's doing The Vortex, possibly Wicked, plus an album, and that's for starters.

I don't think the next album will materialise until Spring 2008, at the very earliest. Doesn't bother me at all, actually, anything between 2-3 years between albums is quite normal! Then, in 2009, he could do a Best of (I'd actually prefer that to a Greatest Hits, as he could then easily exclude Evergreen :P ), perhaps even a Best of Will Live (maybe with a bonus DVD of the Keep On Live tour ;)). :yahoo: My imagination is going into overdrive...

  13. Whats he like he wears a hat and a scarf then wears flip flops

 Yes, but obviously his feet get sweaty, but his head and neck don't! That precious voice  needs protecting from chilly winds, especially when you're driving around in an open-topped car.

He's wearing glasses, too, in the little picture. :D  Love him! Thanks for the scan, Carly.

  14. Thanks for putting me in my place, suggy! :P  It's nice to be wrong on the negative side. :)

Re: Your Game - I don't think we have digital sales figures for that, though, so the comparison wouldn't be entirely fair.

I guess WAI was a slow burner, considering it only went to No. 11. But I bet BMG don't see that!

  15. Thanks for the update, sunday. :)

It's such a shame there wasn't a 4th single. Maybe it was actually Sony-BMG who decided against it, after the poor chart performance of WAI - despite the fact that that single pushed the album right back up the charts and got loads more people buying it. I think the underperformance of the single itself was due to it being "yet another" ballad from Will, i.e. a bit predictable. Keep On would have made a fabulous 4th single, or All I Want, perhaps even the quirky Think About It.

  16. You're welcome. :)

I've uploaded some clips onto youtube. Here are the links:

The first one is really tiny, 8 seconds of drumming from Jerry, that's all.

    2nd one -

It's the end of the medley. The bit where they repeat “Monday’s got a beautiful baby… but Friday’s Child, Friday’s Childâ€.

    A third –

This one is the beginning (first minute or so) of Leave Right Now. I couldn't focus on Will at first as there were too many heads in the way.

    The last one -

This one is Will introducing his "boyband". I couldn't help shouting out for Brendan , and having watched it just now, I think Will actually waves at me, after he hears my screams! :o

  17. Im not old enough to be his mother  ..cheeky gits. <_< .and even if i were i wouldn't want to 'mother' him..i'll leave that for Annabel thanks.

now the smother him in kisses bit....  ...

Yeah, I agree with you on all counts!

I could have done with a slightly less side-on view that night, as my photographic skills were a bit better than at Wembley, when they just went to pieces.

  19. Some men DO get him. Thanks for posting the review, truly talented. :D

Okay, I'm finally ready to share my better photos with you all. Taken in Brighton on Saturday (seems an age ago! ), here they come:

  20. QUOTE(truly talented @ Oct 4 2006, 11:10 AM)

Thanks for bringing that over suggy.

Afterall the hard work & creativity that has gone into this show from Will & all his team how can there possibly not be a DVD???????

Exactly TT, they'll be shoving a bloody DVD out of all the X-Factor non-entities out I bet and god knows how many more lesser acts from Sony/BMG, which I won't mention but I'm sure you'll know who. :arrr:

I agree, it's a sad sad sad loss.   I keep thinking about the whole gameshow bit, in particular, and especially I Say I Love You - that was just so Austin Powers fangroovytastic! :yahoo: :cheer:

And I filmed the whole song on my fuji camera, but it somehow got wiped off the memory card.   I don't know if I'll ever get over that!

And most of my photos are absolutely pants. Here's a "pants" example -

I have a few half-decent photos from Brighton (30th) though, which I need to put on disc and take to the office () before I can resize them and put them up.

I'm feeling depressed that the tour is over now.
