Nah, I reckon the Monkeys are just conscious about not wanting to make the same mistake the likes of Oasis & Franz Ferdinand have made by pulling out all the stops for the first album and consequently ending up with nothing left over for future albums that would match the stuff from their debut. I imagine theyre trying not to go down this route. It wouldnt surprise me if BB&SS made an appearance on a future album :cheer: Although I agree about 'Vampires', average track & completely out of place when sandwiched between two of the best songs on the album <_<

Thats madness :wacko: Surely you dont just give up on every album that doesnt instantly click with you? Hail To The Thief was awesome IMO, takes a while to grow though. I agree their best was The Bends/OK Computer stuff, I think its pure genius. Cant wait for the new album :cheer:
