  1. Got the album as a present, having loved In Case You Didn't Know, and have to say he's done it again. Great pop album, just a couple I'm not too keen on. Army of Two is the perfect next single choice and will ensure the album keeps on selling. Have to say though I agree with others here about the deluxe version extra tracks, astonished that they didn't make the standard album, some are much stronger than tracks that did, especially Sliding Doors and The Perfect Night.

They specifically did mention Will too briefly, she had a Will ticket. All the secret filming about these deals is sooo damning. Many of the public didn't know, the fury is so strong I don't see how they can continue. It's so deceptive, Live Nation, SJM don't come out of it very well either, they get 90% of whatever fee the secondary market sells them for! Outrageous. One guy working for them said they got '1000' per day from SJM for Coldplay. It's absolutely disgusting. All music fans should watch the documentary. Viagogo have books of credit cards to buy off Ticketmaster, so effectively competing with us for tickets! We all knew it was going on but I never knew it was this bad.

You guys watching Dispatches tonight? Exposing to the general public what we long suspected about the likes of Viagogo the FAN TO FAN ticket exchange, in that the promoters themselves hand over large wads of tickets to Viagogo from the off before general and fansale. Viagogo mark up the cost to eyewatering levels and then the promoters take up to 90% of the profit. Confirms what we've long since though on why it's near damn impossible to get front row. Check out Twitter #GreatTicketScandal #Viagogo #TicketScandal. Not seen such level of fury in a while, not sure Viagogo will recover, just shows the lengths Viagogo went to to keep this hidden, they tried to place an injunction preventing the programme from being aired.

BEST MALE: - Ed Sheeran. - James Morrison. - Noel Gallagher. - James Blake. - Professor Green. Absolute travesty. I can't even. f*** The Brits!!

I see on Twitter it's already out there that Ed Sheeran has 4 nominations (Gotta be Breakthrough, Male, Single and Album) Jessie has 3 (Female, Breakthrough, SIngle) and Professor Green has been confirmed as nominated for Best Male so hoping Best Male looks like this: Ed Sheeran Professor Green Noel Gallagher Will Don't really care about the the fifth but probably James Morrison or Example.

Haha! Oh god the Bird is The Word campaign last year was hilarious for their stubbornness in 'believing' chart data. They truly thought because they had so many people liking the page and people spouting crap about 'friends at radio stations saying it had sold 100k+' they simply wouldn't believe what the likes of Martin, me and Spiidey were telling them even though they came on here  Even on the Wednesday and it was confirmed they were at 3 by Radio 1, they still thought it was close and refused to believe the updates posted each day up until Thursday I think. By Friday I think the penny had finally started to drop and they were all turning on themselves for the failure of the single compared to number of likes (about 600k?) and urging each other to buy Rihanna in a desperate final attempt to 'beat Cowell.' Generally though apart from us lot, it really does seem that people refuse to believe midweeks existed until the radio 1 chart update started and even then that's the only thing that counts. Obviously on Tuesday mornings we're all producing figures out of our arses, especially on Digital Spy who are VERY reluctant to believe sales on a Tuesday because it's not 'midweek'. So I guess I'm not surprised the campaign groups who avidly follow the charts for one week only, flatly refuse to believe.

Maybe it's just gone back up now, HMV definitely have had special stickers for either £7 or £8 for quite a while, (and part of the X Factor stand in mine! 0 same with Tesco where it's been cheaper at various times. All albums fluctuate in price. I don't know who sets them though. But as someone who buys a lot of different albums, it drives me insane when you see something on offer and think I'll pick it up next time, then next time it's gone back up again. It's not necessarily consistent between stores either. Echoes had a sale sticker in my hometown but not in Liverpool a few days later, which is weird. I suppose it's good in a way that it's more expensive in the final week before Christmas, they're obviously confident it will sell regardless of price, if they have a lot of stock in. :D

Aw Evergreen. I was just saying elsewhere that despite more voters, more viewers, and cheap downloads, XF has never come close to matching Evergreen's phenomenal sales, the closest they got was with Shayne. I guess because it was so special, really captured the public's imagination. I would say XF coverage is far more saturated than Pop Idol ever was too but there was still plenty of hype too with the battle buses, and I remember one tabloid paper, probably The Sun, printing little supporters kits with flags for either Team Will or Team Gareth. I don't think XF has ever matched that magic really, despite the fact it's a million times more glitzier  I'm not sure if you're giving Simon too much credit there Suggy, I'm not sure it was massively intentional to release the single earlier this year, and had more to do with when Wembley Arena was available. I'm sure Simon would have preferred the final on the 17th but there is a concert booked that night, White Lies. A quick google shows White Lies announced their Wembley arena show on 8th June. Rumours about X Factor being held at Wembley on the 10th/11th started in the Sun 28th June and weren't officially confirmed by ITV until August. It's possible they wanted the 17th/18th but it had already been booked. I think Little Mix' lower sales corroborate with overall less XF impact this year, less viewers, lowest sales for the Charity single, less chart impact by guests etc (Just Professor Green made the number 1 slot after appearing after a slew of acts in previous years)

eww! Right term please! GROUP!!
  10. Just saw that email in my inbox. Excellent news especially as I couldn't attend the tour, I love the outdoor gigs for the atmosphere so this suits me down to the ground! :w00t:
  11. The Scottish lass isn't it, presumably and not LM Jade! So pleased Little Mix won, there was no way they couldn't. Disappointing for Janet she did SO well in the early stages and then never made the final. It also means Daily Star were right with their leak about 'Janet topping the vote every week' and can be trusted in future. B-)
  12. No Paradise?!?! Really can't see any way LM can NOT win, they have absolutely blown Marcus away, he's been so disappointing on each track!!! Remember full results should be out later, Daily Star claimed this morning LM won the semi, Marcus 2nd Amelia 3rd and only 7% separated top to bottom. Will be interesting to see if they are right. edit: Ah Coldplay are so big they get to perform twice! Charlie Brown and Paradise! :D
  13. Little Mix seem absolutely hot faves, and I'd love them to win but just have this feeling Marcus will snatch it. The Sun/Yougov poll which to my knowledge has definitely successfully predicted wins for Joe and Matt and I think actually has a strong record dating back to Pop Idol but not in conjunction with The Sun, predicted 1st Marcus, 2nd Little Mix 3rd Amelia, Last year on the question who do you intend to vote for it was: 51% Matt 32% Rebecca 9% One Direction 8% Cher They predicted Joe to win by quite some way with Olly 2nd, Stacy 3rd The key thing about this years vote is how close it is Marcus 32% Little Mix 27% Amelia 21% (obviously percentages don't add up as people said they would vote on the night etc) Definitely thought it was interesting to the question who will have the best career Little Mix were way out in front. Still think it could swing either way, regardless of the perception some have that Little Mix have it in the bag, I think it will be a heck of a lot closer than that. The main thing I think whichever wins is that they don't do this whole hiding them until October thing. Say the girls do win, they should follow a model similar to Girls Aloud singles wise, Xmas single, next single no later than May/June, get them on summer shows keep interest going, then release the album in conjunction with the next series with their second original song to promote it. And definitely if Marcus wins to get a single out after the Xmas one ASAP, he would be so utterly screwed if they hide him away until October, other than Leona that strategy hasn't really worked and perhaps a return to a Shayne Ward style release run would suit him better, they'll kill him if they follow the usual strategy, a summer single I think is the minimum for both potential winners, its very plausible too, after the XF tour to keep things ticking over.

I really like the show but agree I'm not sure the format of one character a week is that effective. It's a bit Lost-ish isn't it almost with the 'real life' scenes being like the island scenes and the fairytale back story like the Lost flashbacks. Of course this shouldn't be surprising given the writers I guess but I'm not entirely loving it, like I was at the start, it's still great though. Re the death the next episode, not sure how accurate IMDB is, but all of the main cast are still listed for 22 episodes so unless that's a red herring, it won't be any of them, their is one character with a suspiciously short run of just 7 episodes including the first episode after the Christmas break and then that's it, so would fit in with what they said about we would still see their fairytale background after their real time death.

Ha, I always thought Noah the Whale were American, no idea why! There's a surprising lack of One Direction/JLS on that list! Not that I'm complaining, just thought they would be certainties!
