iTunes Chart: November 2011
Pretty sure Jason Donovan danced to it on Strictly, didn't think Strictly songs had that much impact though!

Frankie Cocozza booted out of X-Factor
The Sun say it was because 'he boasted about taking cocaine in front of XF staff' Massive hoo hah now about whether they will bring anyone back of course, I would say no but being down to just six acts means they will end with a two person finale won't it? Which would be dullsville either with duets and what not compared to last year's 4. So purely on numbers I expect they will want to bring somebody back. Which based on last weekend is Johnny, if he declines to come back, then The Risk but as they were bottom of the public vote would be on dodgy vote. Few people on Twitter and DS suggesting a public vote for the 4 judges eliminated acts - James, Amelia, Jonjo and 2 Shoes but couldn't see that working either. Gary might insist on bringing back a boy for a boy in James but that would be unfair to him starting out so late after fanbases have been established etc and unfair on the others to suddenly chuck another act in at this stage. It doesn't sound like they've decided what to do yet: http://xfactor.itv.com/2011/news/story/rea...pid=nl_111108xf "We'll make an announcement about Saturday's show tomorrow"

Sunday Chart Predictions
Surprised to see The Wanted ahead of Cher and expect that may change by Sunday, there's a lot of one week only offers for Cher which should help it above The Wanted. It's the Amazon Mp3 of the week, £6.99 at HMV for one week only, £6.99 on Itunes, £6.99 on Amazon, £7.99 on Play.com etc not sure about supermarkets but would have thought that's got to help. Didn't expect it to be that close on the albums, wonder what kind of figures were talking?

Tour Talk
Ah Sunday thank you so much for those! This is the first Will tour in a long time I cannot get to, as I don't currently have a job and also don't live in any of the places where the shows are so would have to factor in travel and accomdation too and I just can't do that :( at the minute. So its great to see the videos like this so I'm not missing out completely atleast, thank you! The quality is excellent :) :wub: :wub:

Sunday Chart Predictions
I'm very surprised, she must be doing very well on physicals to be still holding it overall. I like the song a lot though so have no problems with her being number 1 if she does manage to hold on!

Premier League / Football League Thread 2011-12
Just have to say in an age where footballers are singled out to be money grabbing, couldn't care less types that away from the Premier League prima donna's and unsavory headlines, a real football hero stepped out last night. Young Doncaster Rovers striker Billy Sharp lost his two day old son Louie on Saturday, last night he led a rapturous minutes applause in memory of his tragic short life, then went out and PLAYED, just three days after his death. He was determined to score for his little boy and he did exactly that, not just any old goal either, but a sweet, sweet volley, one of the best of his career. He celebrated with a simple poignant message on his T Shirt underneath his shirt - 'That's For You Son' and a point to the sky. Emotional, and absolute kudos to referee Darren Deadman who did NOT book him for taking off his shirt. A rare show of compassion from the referee. Billy is no stranger to me personally having made his name with my beloved Scunthorpe, goals that gave me so much pleasure and a life time of memories, but I've never been prouder than last night. Such courage to even step out on the pitch, let alone play and score, the measure of character of that man. He's long been a football hero of mine for the contribution to my club but last night I think he became a hero to so many who have never even heard his name before. The goal: http://youtu.be/LoZG7ftG1kQ The celebration - Brought grown men at the game to tears http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2011/11/01/article-2056286-0EA0BEA500000578-842_468x328.jpg So much love for this man right now

Huge albums this Christmas?
I was just thinking that, surely the number 1 stocking filler for girls under the age of 15 or so? They have got it tough going up against Rihanna though. I had kind of wrongly assumed that JLS' popularity was on the wane but then had the misfortune to be in Liverpool when this happened last week. Bloody mental! :lol:

Sunday Chart Predictions
I think One Direction were slightly more about 80k? Labrinth must be a little annoyed, he's almost certainly going to have a total that would be number 1 most weeks and he didn't have the X Factor to boost him. (Surprising given he's SYCO) When I first heard Read All About It, I thought it would be a big hit but not this huge, never thought that would get an X Factor slot.

COME ON - chart/airplay/twitter/snippets
Just Virgin with a completely different schedule then :lol: LOVED IT! Looked bloody gorgeous on my TV :heart: :heart: :heart:

Sunday Chart Predictions
Thanks for that :) Thought that was likely to be the case.

COME ON - chart/airplay/twitter/snippets
Hmm my Virgin guide has no mention of it, right now it's 50 Boyband Tracks of the 90s which is due to finish at 2 but won't because they still have 2 more videos to play. Then it says Magic's Big 1, Magic's big track of the day which is likely to be Will I guess, but it doesn't say Will Young Brand New Video like my planner usually does. At 14.05 It's supposed to be Ice Cool 90s so as expected they will be off schedule. If they show Will it will be any time between now and about 2.15 and not 2.15 at all I'm guessing!

Kelly Clarkson - Stronger
Not sure if it's on Spotify or not but there's a few full tracks on her official Youtube - What Doesn't Kill You (Stronger), Dark Side, Honestly, You Love Me, The War is Over, I Forgive You. http://www.youtube.com/user/kellyclarkson#p/u Along with loving Mr Know It All, that's more than enough for me to add it it to my list of albums to buy this week alongside Coldplay. It sounds totally amazing to my ears just based on those tracks :wub:

Sunday Chart Predictions
So from the report we can see the top 5 of 1. Coldplay 2. Noel 3. Michael Buble 4. Kelly Clarkson 5. Bruno Mars The report mentions 6 is Tom Wait and Adele is 9 and the other new entries are also mentioned so I'm guessing 7, 8 and 10 are Matt Cardle, Ed Sheeran and Steps in any order to round out the top 10?

Sunday Chart Predictions
I'm sure the album advert during X factor helped it's cause. I certainly went aww and will probably get it at some stage, just not yet. :lol: Noel's holding up well. It's a great album :D

Sunday Chart Predictions
Wow! Massive boost for Bruno Mars!! And fantastic sales for Coldplay and Professor Green!

COME ON - chart/airplay/twitter/snippets
Make sure you tune in from about 2 onwards as in my experiences these scheduled video premieres nearly always don't start when they should and if you just recorded the programme would probably miss a bit. Can't wait to see it on the big screen, I've only watched it on my phone so far and bloody ADORE it. :heart:

Sunday Chart Predictions
Ah damn I was really hoping he could sell 80k just for that delightful Dser who pledged to do something very disgusting if Matt sold that :lol: He's still doing okay though, the question is can it sustain sales or will it just slide down? I think I read somewhere it is Radio 2's Album of The Week next week which should help ensure it doesn't slide too far for week 2 atleast.

Sunday Chart Predictions
number one slot. "It has sold another 23,000 copies so far this week to add to its 183,289 in first week of release, putting it ahead of new albums from Joe McElderry (Joe McElderry on Syco), The Wanted (The Wanted on Geffen) and Taylor Swift (Speak Now on Mercury)." That was about Kings of Leon so the midweek must be slightly less than 23,000 at least. Yes I am a nitpicker :lol:

Sunday Chart Predictions
Blimey there's a lot of guests viewing in, must be the entire DS X Factor forum eager to know Matt Cardle's sales, I did see buzzjack mentioned, and I don't mean his fans, they are going to be so disappointed if there isn't a whiff of sales figures :lol: Daniel O Donnell eh, that would be somewhat hilarious if it's above Matt. Edit: Ah there we have it, cracking first day sales for Noel, already outstripping last weeks total, but that was to be expected!

Midweeks
I kinda have to agree, Ed Sheeran is utterly nailed on for Best Male IMO :( But regardless they better bloody give him a performance this year, it's so ridiculously overdue compared to the people who have performed but I fear I shall be disappointed again. I wish I could say it didn't bother me but it does really rankle!

Hmm I'd like to think it has an outside chance, as one of the best critically received pop albums. But it's only a five album shortlist so it's an outside bet. Adele and Coldplay take two spots for a start and then a choice of the following for the other 3 probably: Kasabian - Velicroptar Arctic Monkeys Suck It and See Jessie J Who You Are (Critics choice so almost by default even though I think the album wasn't THAT well critically received? :unsure: but it's the best selling Brit album so far other than Adele ) Ed Sheeran + Will Young Echoes (I think it will be 'considered' actually but probably not enough support to make it) Chase and Status - Idols (Pretty high on the YTD, possible left field choice) Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds - Heard really good things about this, he is blatantly the talented one in Oasis. Of albums still to be released - Florence and The Machine's Ceremonials is probably going to be well received if 'Lungs' is anything to go by. Working out the top selling British singles so far from the YTD Top 20, they are: Adele - Someone Like You Jessie J - Price Tag Adele - Rolling in The Deep Ed Sheeran - The A Team Example - Changed The Way You Kissed Me Jessie J - Do It Like A Dude The Wanted - Glad You Came Assuming they won't include both Adele and Jessie J tracks and that airplay is often a factor too, I think there might very well be a place for Jealousy (and Heart Skips A Beat) but there's obviously a long way to go yet with many more tracks to be released.

Oh that's absolutely excellent!!!! Way to go Will and with Come On, around the corner, it's all going pretty swimmingly :wub:

X Factor 2011 || Live Shows - Week 2
and if I was Gary, I would have been tempted to keep James too. I think he was banking on Frankie being a charismatic Robbie type of not the best singer but entertaining. Unfortunately he got it badly wrong because Frankie doesn't show any personality whatsoever and his performances are DULLSVILLE. That sing off was one of the worst I've ever seen. I thought they were supposed to convince the judges why they should be saved and not why they should be dumped on their ass :lol:

X Factor 2011 || Live Shows - Week 2
Correct bottom 2. Nu Vibe can't sing very well as a group *not to mention they had the cursed first slot* :P and Frankie really did murder the Scientist. Not good at all. I really do think Gary got it wrong sending home James. Should have sent home Frankie, think James would have done better with the public vote.

X Factor 2011 || Live Shows - Week 2
See she can sing! :wub: Going to see her in Liverpool on Tuesday, had to fight hard to get tickets off Ebay, ridiculously in demand! :heart:
