  1. Just been watching them, he sure is a talented boy. I love the sound of the album tracks, Starlight is one of my favourites along with Letters. Looking forward to receiving the album. LOVING the ladies singing along loudly to Run For Your Life on one of the videos  It's grown on me, I was massively underwhelmed at first and still think there are much better songs on the album but it's definitely grown on me and I'm looking forward to seeing his X Factor performance. The 'Uninvited' cover is an unexpected treat too. Wow! His vocals! Sublime.
  2. I honestly cannot see this 'big twist' being anything to do with having MORE contestants, like the wildcard theories and the Cheryl/Simon/Uncle Bulgaria/whatever having a special category of axed contestants. Adding 20 to the live shows would just be too much surely and nearly impossible in the timeslot it has. Ditto any theory re JUST bringing back Jade or any other single contestant would be unfair to boost one category to 5? Am I making this up in my head, or did last year's 'BIG! TWIST!' teaser show a mystery silhouette and people were speculating it was Nicole? I think. Surely if it was anything to do with addition, more contestants, more judges (5th judge to avoid deadlock) then they might have use something like that again. I think it's far more likely to do with eliminations myself - Perhaps losing one from each category, or if they wanted to be REALLY harsh, eliminating someone before the show even started but I think that's too cruel. Whatever it is it's sure to be an anti climax, and nowhere near as inventive or interesting as some of the theories mooted! The judges swap thing is quite interesting but can't see that happening, and aren't people just basing that theory on Gary saying he didn't get the category he wanted in an interview some time ago, from what I can make out? Surely he might have just said that at the time to throw people off guessing what category he had or is this a more recent interview?
  3. If anyone has Virgin On Demand service there is a 'James Morrison October Takeover'. About half an hour of an intimate gig, probably an album launch type thing, performs Wont Let You Go, Slave To The Music, Right By Your Side, In My Dreams etc but also You Give Me Something (not about an STD he says to the audience  ) and Nothing Ever Hurt Like You. Also a further 30 minutes of a quite candid and interesting interview, chatting about his father, how the Jessie J duet came about and possible stuff in the works with Ed Sheeran.
  4. Was looking at some of the pics on IMDB, amused at this photo. It's labelled as Idris Elba. It's surely Akon is it not?! http://www.imdb.com/media/rm1202633984/nm0252961

So glad Julianna Margulies got the Emmy though would have liked the amazing Archie Panjabi or Christine Baranski to get supporting actress too but after Julianna's performances this year the Emmy was well deserved. :yahoo: So excited for the season 3 premiere, season 2 ended so perfectly, it really is such a high quality show, took me a while to get into it about 7 or 8 episodes but when I did I got gripped. So many great supporting chracters too like Jackie and Eli. I watched it at UK pace this year on More 4 (Has Channel 4 even shown the second series yet?) but I'm not going to be able to resist watching at US pace this year. :w00t:
  6. I just had to come here and squee a bit because for the past two years I've been making slow progress, catching up with all six seasons of 'Bones' on a friend's recommendation despite unbelievably not giving the show a go even as a Buffy/Angel loon. I'd just like to say I am now FINALLY up to date and Bones has rocketed right onto my favourites list with the rest of the stuff on my signature. Probably just below Supernatural and Dexter. Absolutely LOVE it. Gotta say I thought season 6 was epic, with some amazing stand out episodes. Last night I watched episodes 21, 22 and 23 where my emotions of the episodes went something like this: 21: -Creepy feral looking girl  - abusive 'father' -  - Brennan getting emotionally invested in the case  Brennan and Booth's joint efforts to get the girl reunited with her real parents  Girl reunited with her parents and the bunny       22: - Mr Nigel Murray getting excited about the dinosaur/goofing around with Hodgins  :D Evil sniper guy looking to be possibly targeting any of Sweets/Angela/Hodgins/the Jeffersonian   Evil sniper guy killing Mr Nigel Murray  :snif: B + B sharing a bed together   :yahoo: Booth getting the evil son of a bitch who killed Mr Nigel Murray  :cheer: -The gang saying goodbye to MNM by singing Da Lime and Da Coconut   23: - Wendell is this week's intern :cheer: - 'Wanda' and 'Buck' especially the hairstyles  - Hodgins attempt to be calm when Angela's waters break, - Wendell on the laptop while Angela is in labour  - MAKE YOU FEEL MY LOVE KICKS IN - Angela gives birth, The baby isn't blind   Hodgins announces the baby is called Michael Stercato VINCENT Hodgins to the gang  and then: Brennan tells Booth she is pregnant and it's his baby. Booth grins. There aren't enough emoticons in the world that do this scene justice but this is a good start and mimics my WOO!! SQUEE!! moment I had when watching last night... :w00t: :w00t: :w00t: :w00t: :w00t: :w00t: :w00t: :w00t: :w00t: :w00t: :w00t: :w00t: :w00t:          But I can't believe I have to wait until November for it to come back and only for 13 episodes. Sooo pleased for Emily though and had a sneaky suspicion they would write her pregnancy into the show, it was still AMAZING when she announced it to Booth and his little face lit up  I heard there was going to be a death near the end, and even though Mr Nigel Murray grated on me at times, I was still really sad he died (Though I'd be lying if I said my first thought wasn't thank god it wasn't Wendell!) his death I suppose was the catalyst for getting Brennan into bed with Booth as it was his death that really affected her so we can always be grateful for that!
  7. Is there a good quality Youtube out there? Didn't want to listen to it with poor quality for a first listen. The Guardian interview got me excited for the album, loving the sound of some of the tracks! I'm surprised Collide has done as well as it has in all honesty!
  8. Ah Spiidey I thought I was the only one who likes Leona but doesn't much like Collide, for me it just goes nowhere but I felt really bad for not liking it. I'm no Leona loon but I really like a lot of her stuff and was so disappointed with Collide so like you I'm hoping the album tracks are a lot better, still looking forward to the album, Echo is on of my most played albums and 'Naked' and 'Alive' are in my top 10 most played songs on my ipod so hoping for good things from album 3
  9. Well the hashtag #LLCollideoutnow has trended most of this evening since Liam Payne tweeted it so there's definitely influence and since then most of the other members have tweeted asking fans to go buy it, even the DS Leona thread thanks the 1D tweets for helping it to top 5, it's definitely given it some boost and more exposure as more people know its out now its been trending on Twitter for ages.
  10. I see those little scamps One Direction have been tweeting their loyal followers to buy Collide. The power of their fanbase never ceases to amaze me, it's given Collide the best free promo it could have had
  11. Seen a few people retweeting on Twitter how a song called 'Collide' would be an unfortunately titled no.1 for next Sunday! Bit crass but it doesn't look like that's going to happen now anyway. I've always thought Collide wasn't instant enough, it just takes forever to get going though it has definitely grown on me, I did wake up with the chorus in my head this morning. Have to say All Fired Up has surprised me, have they done many TV performances of it? I've seen it once on Tonight's The Night, but that was 2, maybe 3 weeks ago. Ideally want Moves Like Jagger to bag no.1 though, have a feeling it's just going to hang around for ages without ever making it.

Heart FM really love Bruno Mars but for some reason they've just decided to play 'Count On Me'

So glad Moves Like Jagger is doing pretty well, would have loved it to go to number 1 but feared it wouldn't even break top 20 which would have been criminal for such an awesome song

oooh that's pretty exciting, Teenage Dream was a delcious pop song IMO and the soundtrack to the last summer. It also means if it's in that kind of vein of summery uptempo pop there is no reason it shouldn't be widely playlisted but we shall see. So ridiculously excited to hear this song!!! :yahoo:
  15. Hi everyone been massively out of the loop with all things Will, too much real life stuff going on, just pop on here every now and then, can't be doing with long threads on devoted anymore, stresses over airplay etc! I've decided to step back this time and just enjoy hearing the new material without any stress over sales figures, airplay, reviews. This is all very exciting though, loving the title of the album and the single, find it very interesting that Marina Diamondis had a hand in writing jealousy not least because her stuff nearly always gets radio1 airplay, but also because it means she got a chance to work with Will! She unashamedly loves Will and last time she was in Company magazine she said this: "I think it's rare that a real star comes out of shows like the X Factor but it does happen - Leona Lewis, Will Young - I LOVE Will Young" So excited to hear the new stuff, I'm taking a step back as a fanatical fan but haven't lost any of my enthusiasm for Will, I loved the clips and can't wait to hear the full versions! As for the ITV show, HELLO! It's about time :)
  16. Definitely! She did a beautiful performance on Alan Titchmarsh this week but I guess the audience wouldn't have been so high, so hopefully playing it on DOI will get the song rising again!
  17. Hmm The Sun have published the songs, the couples are skating to, on tomorrow's Dancing On Ice semi final: The Last Dance - Claire Maguire Firework - Katy Perry L.I.F.E.G.O.E.S.O.N - Noah And The Whale Don't Stop The Music - Jamie Cullum (cover of Rihanna) So definitely expecting to see Noah and the Whale and Katy rise again tomorrow!
  18. Yeah, I really like Kanye and the bit at the beginning is cool but I ADORE that middle 8, definitely the best part. Oh well I still have it on the album. Cannot wait for the video! Looking at my itunes I've played the tracks on this album an obscene amount of times with E.T. the clear winner :heehee:
  19. Kanye version....rap at the beginning and again near the end replacing the middle 8

Episode 3 Grilled Cheesus BARB ratings: 2.175 million, still significantly higher than the overnight data
  21. PurpleNurples posted a post in a topic in Television
BARB does tend to be higher than the initial reported overnights so do we take the official figure as the BARB one? I'm not entirely sure what the difference is with the BARB ratings and the overnights but they tend to differ quite a lot. (On BARB every Inbetweeners season 3 episode was at 3-3.5 million when I don't think the overnights had it that high throughout the series BARB: ep 1 - 3.456, ep 2- 3.336, ep 3 - 3.572 ep 4- 3.619 ep 5 -3.721 ep 6 - 3.704 and these pretty much tally up with the All Time e4 Top 10 ratings) Here is the initial report from Digital Spy for the overnight ratings for Glee. http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/tv/s57/glee/ne...e-with-16m.html It has Glee as 1.6 million for episode 1, BARB is 2.486 million It also mentions Silent Witness having 7.24 million, BARB has it as 7.8 million which is much closer so why the huge discrepancy in the Glee ratings and also this: Overnights has Monday's Shameless that week as 3.08 million and BARB has it as high as 4.050 million :o Just had a browse at some other stuff and bizarrely the X Factor Final on BARB is reported as a lot LESS than the reported overnight of 19.3 million, BARB is 16.553  So if we take these ratings from BARB, it means Britney/Brittany is actually recorded as 2.634 million, rocketing up to number 7 on the All Time Top 10 behind The Inbetweeners. Audition is recorded as 2.486 million and is also right up there :D Will be interesting what figures BARB have for last week and this week when they come out as episode 3 on the overnight DS report was 1.4 million and losing 250k of its audience and episode 4 as 1.32
  22. Thanks for the best wishes Flatcap and your views on Garner, our strikers of recent years do usually do very well when with us - Steven Maclean, Paul Hayes, Billy Sharp, Andy Keogh, Martin Paterson, Jermaine Beckford and Gary Hooper so hope he'll be another good un for us. I'm feeling a little more optimistic than of late anyway, we're at Middlesboro tonight and could really do with three points, had a few good away wins this season, need another. Our games in hand are against Forest (Home), Pompey (Away) and we still have to play PNE @ home after the game was inexplicably called off on Saturday for a bloody frozen pitch! I was travelling down from Liverpool with the PNE fans on the train and was just as peeved as them! Rooney, not sure on Wooly, you might well have a sell on fee, the deal is undisclosed but rumoured to be somewhere in the region of 300 - 350k. Can't believe I spent literally the whole day watching Sky Sports News, it was fitting Jim White was on duty for the biggies, no one gets more excited than him though his shouting did my head in. Looks like I'll be glued to Sky Sports News again tonight, for the Soccer Special - can't miss what Thommo has to say not to mention Merse, Le Tiss and Charlie Nic! Pity it's Ed and not Jeff though!
  23. I am also a Buzzjack footie fanatic but support the very unglamorous Scunthorpe United so tend to keep quiet about it  Obviously all the big drama was the Torres/Carroll madness, and I literally had Sky Sports News on all day (he's in a helicopter/he's not in a helicopter/he's in Liverpool still/ he's on his way to Chelsea/ A WHITE PEOPLE CARRIER JUST SPED PAST!) keeping track of it all. But Scunthorpe had their own dramatic day, in the morning in our desperate search for a half decent striker we signed Joe Garner on loan from Forest. Not too sure about him, his record for Carlisle was good and he scored a few Forest goals but Forest fans I've spoken too say he's not really an out and out striker and he dives around a fair bit add that to an unproductive loan spell at Huddersfield and I'm not TOO convinced he'll be the answers to our prayers but he has to be better than what we had previously. Then we have the outs, Wooly  Was bracing myself for Woolford to go but it's still sad, he was a bit of a hero for us, always had the happy knack of scoring in the really big games and got our late winner at Wembley, a moment I'll cherish forever. Not that there's anything wrong with Bristol City but thought he might have gone to a bigger Championship club/lower league prem club, if I'm honest, he's a very good old fashioned winger and we'll miss him, no replacement either yet! Shockingly our old manager came in for our hardly goal laden striker Jonathan Forte, everyone's stunned we got money for him. Then our name cropped up again later with defender Rob Jones linked away to Sheff Utd and then finally another signing for us in the final hour in the shape of another defender Norwich's Michael Nelson. Busy deadline day for us, normally you won't see the name Scunthorpe crop up at all, but we had a busy January with 9 signings altogether, hopefully they can help us stay up but our home record has to start improving like now! So that was my own personal deadline day but I have more than a passing interest in the big stories as my boyfriend is a proud scouser and Liverpool as such, have become almost a second team. Naturally it's gutting to lose Torres but it does almost feel like a brave new era ushered in at Anfield. Carroll's fee seems ridiculous but at 22, the potential is certainly there and I think he will turn out to be a good signing. Carroll and Suarez is a delicious prospect up front. There's a lot of anger in Liverpool today, not that Torres has gone but the manner he has gone, I never thought Torres would be one for making little digs but his 'I'm finally at a top club' comment has got to hurt. My boyfriend and his family at first were sorry to see him go but he went with some kind of best wishes, now he has destroyed any lingering respect they had for him. No doubt Torres will be in sparkling form at Chelsea and all those half hearted performances really were just because his heart was no longer in the club, absolutely odds on he will score on Sunday too.
  24. Oh WOW @ Thriller/Heads Will Roll! Jaw to the floor amazingness! Very possibly my favourite Glee song ever after just ONE Listen :yahoo: :o Seriously cannot wait for the ep! I notice the Superbowl coverage is scheduled to run from 11pm - 4am on BBC1, is it about 4am/5am our time for the Glee ep? Tempted to watch online but have no idea where to find a stream, there used to be a website doing FOX streams because I watched American Idol live on it when Adam Lambert was in the final a couple of years ago, probably doesn't exist now!
