oooh that's pretty exciting, Teenage Dream was a delcious pop song IMO and the soundtrack to the last summer. It also means if it's in that kind of vein of summery uptempo pop there is no reason it shouldn't be widely playlisted but we shall see. So ridiculously excited to hear this song!!! :yahoo:
  2. Hi everyone been massively out of the loop with all things Will, too much real life stuff going on, just pop on here every now and then, can't be doing with long threads on devoted anymore, stresses over airplay etc! I've decided to step back this time and just enjoy hearing the new material without any stress over sales figures, airplay, reviews. This is all very exciting though, loving the title of the album and the single, find it very interesting that Marina Diamondis had a hand in writing jealousy not least because her stuff nearly always gets radio1 airplay, but also because it means she got a chance to work with Will! She unashamedly loves Will and last time she was in Company magazine she said this: "I think it's rare that a real star comes out of shows like the X Factor but it does happen - Leona Lewis, Will Young - I LOVE Will Young" So excited to hear the new stuff, I'm taking a step back as a fanatical fan but haven't lost any of my enthusiasm for Will, I loved the clips and can't wait to hear the full versions! As for the ITV show, HELLO! It's about time :)
  3. Definitely! She did a beautiful performance on Alan Titchmarsh this week but I guess the audience wouldn't have been so high, so hopefully playing it on DOI will get the song rising again!
  4. Hmm The Sun have published the songs, the couples are skating to, on tomorrow's Dancing On Ice semi final: The Last Dance - Claire Maguire Firework - Katy Perry L.I.F.E.G.O.E.S.O.N - Noah And The Whale Don't Stop The Music - Jamie Cullum (cover of Rihanna) So definitely expecting to see Noah and the Whale and Katy rise again tomorrow!
  5. Yeah, I really like Kanye and the bit at the beginning is cool but I ADORE that middle 8, definitely the best part. Oh well I still have it on the album. Cannot wait for the video! Looking at my itunes I've played the tracks on this album an obscene amount of times with E.T. the clear winner :heehee:
  6. Kanye version....rap at the beginning and again near the end replacing the middle 8

Episode 3 Grilled Cheesus BARB ratings: 2.175 million, still significantly higher than the overnight data

BARB does tend to be higher than the initial reported overnights so do we take the official figure as the BARB one? I'm not entirely sure what the difference is with the BARB ratings and the overnights but they tend to differ quite a lot. (On BARB every Inbetweeners season 3 episode was at 3-3.5 million when I don't think the overnights had it that high throughout the series BARB: ep 1 - 3.456, ep 2- 3.336, ep 3 - 3.572 ep 4- 3.619 ep 5 -3.721 ep 6 - 3.704 and these pretty much tally up with the All Time e4 Top 10 ratings) Here is the initial report from Digital Spy for the overnight ratings for Glee. http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/tv/s57/glee/ne...e-with-16m.html It has Glee as 1.6 million for episode 1, BARB is 2.486 million It also mentions Silent Witness having 7.24 million, BARB has it as 7.8 million which is much closer so why the huge discrepancy in the Glee ratings and also this: Overnights has Monday's Shameless that week as 3.08 million and BARB has it as high as 4.050 million :o Just had a browse at some other stuff and bizarrely the X Factor Final on BARB is reported as a lot LESS than the reported overnight of 19.3 million, BARB is 16.553  So if we take these ratings from BARB, it means Britney/Brittany is actually recorded as 2.634 million, rocketing up to number 7 on the All Time Top 10 behind The Inbetweeners. Audition is recorded as 2.486 million and is also right up there :D Will be interesting what figures BARB have for last week and this week when they come out as episode 3 on the overnight DS report was 1.4 million and losing 250k of its audience and episode 4 as 1.32
  9. Thanks for the best wishes Flatcap and your views on Garner, our strikers of recent years do usually do very well when with us - Steven Maclean, Paul Hayes, Billy Sharp, Andy Keogh, Martin Paterson, Jermaine Beckford and Gary Hooper so hope he'll be another good un for us. I'm feeling a little more optimistic than of late anyway, we're at Middlesboro tonight and could really do with three points, had a few good away wins this season, need another. Our games in hand are against Forest (Home), Pompey (Away) and we still have to play PNE @ home after the game was inexplicably called off on Saturday for a bloody frozen pitch! I was travelling down from Liverpool with the PNE fans on the train and was just as peeved as them! Rooney, not sure on Wooly, you might well have a sell on fee, the deal is undisclosed but rumoured to be somewhere in the region of 300 - 350k. Can't believe I spent literally the whole day watching Sky Sports News, it was fitting Jim White was on duty for the biggies, no one gets more excited than him though his shouting did my head in. Looks like I'll be glued to Sky Sports News again tonight, for the Soccer Special - can't miss what Thommo has to say not to mention Merse, Le Tiss and Charlie Nic! Pity it's Ed and not Jeff though!
  10. I am also a Buzzjack footie fanatic but support the very unglamorous Scunthorpe United so tend to keep quiet about it  Obviously all the big drama was the Torres/Carroll madness, and I literally had Sky Sports News on all day (he's in a helicopter/he's not in a helicopter/he's in Liverpool still/ he's on his way to Chelsea/ A WHITE PEOPLE CARRIER JUST SPED PAST!) keeping track of it all. But Scunthorpe had their own dramatic day, in the morning in our desperate search for a half decent striker we signed Joe Garner on loan from Forest. Not too sure about him, his record for Carlisle was good and he scored a few Forest goals but Forest fans I've spoken too say he's not really an out and out striker and he dives around a fair bit add that to an unproductive loan spell at Huddersfield and I'm not TOO convinced he'll be the answers to our prayers but he has to be better than what we had previously. Then we have the outs, Wooly  Was bracing myself for Woolford to go but it's still sad, he was a bit of a hero for us, always had the happy knack of scoring in the really big games and got our late winner at Wembley, a moment I'll cherish forever. Not that there's anything wrong with Bristol City but thought he might have gone to a bigger Championship club/lower league prem club, if I'm honest, he's a very good old fashioned winger and we'll miss him, no replacement either yet! Shockingly our old manager came in for our hardly goal laden striker Jonathan Forte, everyone's stunned we got money for him. Then our name cropped up again later with defender Rob Jones linked away to Sheff Utd and then finally another signing for us in the final hour in the shape of another defender Norwich's Michael Nelson. Busy deadline day for us, normally you won't see the name Scunthorpe crop up at all, but we had a busy January with 9 signings altogether, hopefully they can help us stay up but our home record has to start improving like now! So that was my own personal deadline day but I have more than a passing interest in the big stories as my boyfriend is a proud scouser and Liverpool as such, have become almost a second team. Naturally it's gutting to lose Torres but it does almost feel like a brave new era ushered in at Anfield. Carroll's fee seems ridiculous but at 22, the potential is certainly there and I think he will turn out to be a good signing. Carroll and Suarez is a delicious prospect up front. There's a lot of anger in Liverpool today, not that Torres has gone but the manner he has gone, I never thought Torres would be one for making little digs but his 'I'm finally at a top club' comment has got to hurt. My boyfriend and his family at first were sorry to see him go but he went with some kind of best wishes, now he has destroyed any lingering respect they had for him. No doubt Torres will be in sparkling form at Chelsea and all those half hearted performances really were just because his heart was no longer in the club, absolutely odds on he will score on Sunday too.
  11. Oh WOW @ Thriller/Heads Will Roll! Jaw to the floor amazingness! Very possibly my favourite Glee song ever after just ONE Listen :yahoo: :o Seriously cannot wait for the ep! I notice the Superbowl coverage is scheduled to run from 11pm - 4am on BBC1, is it about 4am/5am our time for the Glee ep? Tempted to watch online but have no idea where to find a stream, there used to be a website doing FOX streams because I watched American Idol live on it when Adam Lambert was in the final a couple of years ago, probably doesn't exist now!
  12. Song news from Digital Spy: TV Guide says that 'Silly Love Songs', which is due to air on February 8, will feature Rachel (Lea Michele) singing Puck (Mark Salling) will take on Artie (Kevin McHale) will sing Tina (Jenna Ushkowitz) will perform Meanwhile, Blaine (Darren Criss) and the Warblers will sing both and Hmm
  13. Official Chart Company tweeted : @brunomars has the biggest first week sales for a single released in January since Babylon Zoo’s Spaceman in 1996 Nice stat!
  14. See that's why I couldn't tell, two posters say definitely , two say definitely  I thought and it's more likely to be I suppose because even if is back, I doubt their getting straight into a dramatic Thriller routine, complete with costume and make up, could be wrong!
  15. Take That confirmed Kidz today for February 28th http://www.takethat.com/news/2011/01/next-...e-from-progress :D

official chart company website, has updated to say Grenade is outselling it's nearest rival 3-to-1. Wonder what the sales are like? Also says the album is out next Monday? Has it been brought forward? Could have sworn it was the 24th last time I checked. http://www.theofficialcharts.com/
  17. Really excited having seen the pictures http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/tv/s57/glee/tu...-thrilling.html :w00t: Looks awesome! Puck Artie and Sam look very different! Picture 6 says its but I can't make my mind up whether it really is or Excited for this episode :D
  18. Will be really interesting to see how they do this time around and what the ratings are like, they got big exposure on X factor and the profile of the show is bigger than ever. I think Empire State of Mind will do the best from this week but I wonder how many people like me already have the album from imports? CD Wow were selling it for something like 7.99 before christmas. I do plan on downloading the songs that are not on the first season 2 album though, only Billionaire and ESOM are on it.

Did you read the Bones spoilers on that link? :w00t:

I'm a late Bones convert, having gone through Season 1-4 in the last few months - ADORE that show, my love/obsession I had as a 15 year old for David Boreanaz I thought I buried with Buffy/Angel ending has been fully resurrected. Anyway, Glee they are proper hammering it promo wise, I see it all the time on the music channels. Glee premiered at just over a million for the season 1 premiere and rose steadily, so I wonder how it will do ratings wise for E4 this time? Don't think it will come anywhere near matching the Inbetweeners incredible 3 million peak, especially it's in a more competitive 9pm time slot but it should do well. I have watched US pace but I'll definitely be watching again
  21. I'm pretty sure I read that whilst they didn't film for TOTP Christmas Spiidey, they are very kindly going to show the Children In Need performance of 'The Flood' on Christmas TOTP for the 1% of the population who haven't yet been treated to a performance of that song
  22. Wow Ri really is closing in on Matt and also pulling away from Surfin Bird massively. Think it's a given now the chart come Sunday will be 1. Matt 2. Rihanna and Drake 3. Trashmen. I know that they've downloaded a lot in other places but I wouldn't have thought it would be enough to make up for their massive shortfall on itunes. We shall see. Saying that BEP and Ellie aren't actually a million miles away from Surfin Bird now!

Said I wouldn't comment on that any more and haven't been on the page in a while but:  Is there still a couple banging on about, don't believe the midweeks, we are NOT 200k behind that was wednesday? They are absolutely correct. They ARE no longer 200K behind. They are further behind than 200K now. (Almost certainly) Many bookies have closed their book now they're convinced the race is won. I'd be obliged to agree ^_^

Thanks Spiidey, pity there's no sales. There's all kinds of ridiculous figures flying about now, would be nice to know what the real figures are! I think it's certain now the top 3 now will be the same on Sunday in order, Trashmen's bar isn't significantly growing on iTunes and as for the number 1, they will easily be a good 250, 000 behind now. Try telling the most stubborn facebookers that though who believe the reason why the bookies have closed the betting on the race is not because Matt is on an odds certainty like most assume from doing that but it's because they are "scared" to be fair to them they aren't all like that and a few have started to realise the gap is just too big now unfortunately the most vocal ones are the ones that come out with the silliest statements like iTunes is fixed and Cowell has ordered a media blackout, it's not the majority of them by a long shot but there's a fair few who genuinely believe that. I saw someone make a good point earlier, that a lot of the 600,000 members might well have joined thinking it would be a battle against The Wands, I think more might have bought against the teen army in that case! So the race is almost certainly won the question is where will Matt come in the x factor table of winners single opening sales?
