  1. Euro Top 40 - (as broadcast on MTV Europe) Here is the chart of December 13, 2014: 40 39 38 37 36 35 34 33 32 31 30 29 28 Jessie J, Ariana Grande & Nicki Minaj - Bang Bang 2 Down 27 26 John Legend - All Of Me 3 Down 25 24 George Ezra - Blame It On Me 23 Sia - Chandelier 8 Down 22 21 Tove Lo - Habits 5 Down 20 19 Gareth Malone's All Star Choir - Wake Me Up! 18 Down 18 Tom Odell - Real Love 4 Down 17 16 AronChupa - I'm An Albatraoz 6 Up 15 Cheryl Cole - I Don't Care 3 Down 14 Sam Smith - I'm Not The Only One 6 Up 13 12 Rixton - Wait On Me 11 Meghan Trainor - All About That Bass 3 Down 10 One Direction - Steal My Girl 4 Down 9 Take That - These Days 8 Calvin Harris & Ellie Goulding - Outside 1 Down 7 Wretch 32 - 6 Words 6 Taylor Swift - Blank Space 1 Down 5 Clean Bandit - Real Love 1 Down 4 Ed Sheeran - Thinking Out Loud 1 Down 3 David Guetta - Dangerous 1 Down 2 Olly Murs - Wrapped Up 7 Up 1 Band Aid 30 - Do They Know It's Christmas? sdizda, unfortunately, I'm not able to open the link. Does it show MTV Europe online? "Do They Know It's Christmas?" by Band Aid 30 appears at number 1 - and I suppose it's a new entry straight at the top! According to the MTV European Top 20 archives, Band Aid II's version debuted at number 6 at the beginning of 1990 but only spent one week in the chart... While I remember how Band Aid 20's version spent 8 weeks in the chart in late 2004/early 2005... but only reached a peak position of number 15! In my opinion, it should have become a number 1... Last week's chart-topper, Gareth Malone's All Star Choir's version of "Wake Me Up!" falls 18 places to number 19... And I find it curious that 2 songs titled "Real Love" - by Tom Odell and Clean Bandit - are simultaneously in the chart!
  2. "Sun Goes Down" by Robin Schulz is a re-entry.
  3. Euro Top 40 - (as broadcast on MTV Europe) Here is the chart of December 6, 2014: 40 39 38 37 36 35 34 33 32 31 30 29 28 Kendrick Lamar - i 27 Parra For Cuva - Wicked Games 26 Jessie J, Ariana Grande & Nicki Minaj - Bang Bang 8 Down 25 OneRepublic - I Lived 24 23 John Legend - All Of Me 3 Down 22 AronChupa - I'm An Albatraoz 21 20 Sam Smith - I'm Not The Only One 4 Down 19 18 17 16 Tove Lo - Habits 3 Up 15 Sia - Chandelier 3 Down 14 Tom Odell - Real Love 13 The Veronicas - You Ruin Me 12 Cheryl Cole - I Don't Care 3 Down 11 10 9 Olly Murs - Wrapped Up 2 Up 8 Meghan Trainor - All About That Bass 3 Down 7 Calvin Harris & Ellie Goulding - Outside 1 Up 6 One Direction - Steal My Girl 2 Down 5 Taylor Swift - Blank Space 4 Clean Bandit - Real Love 2 Up 3 Ed Sheeran - Thinking Out Loud 1 Down 2 David Guetta - Dangerous 1 Down 1 Gareth Malone's All Star Choir - Wake Me Up! 2 Up It's good to see that a song doing well in Europe that hasn't appeared in the UK chart yet can still appear in the MTV Euro Top Chart - I'm talking about "I'm An Albatraoz" by AronChupa. On the other hand, the new number 1 is flabbergasting. And I do find this version of "Wake Me Up!" beautiful - not to mention that it's special for me because I'm also singing in a choir... But it has to be released all across Europe in order to earn its place here - and I'm sure it would do well in the various European countries!
  4. Euro Top 40 - (as broadcast on MTV Europe) Here is the chart of November 29, 2014: 40 39 38 37 36 35 34 33 32 31 30 29 28 27 26 25 24 23 22 21 20 John Legend - All Of Me 7 Down 19 Tove Lo - Habits 2 Down 18 Jessie J, Ariana Grande & Nicki Minaj - Bang Bang 9 Down 17 16 Sam Smith - I'm Not The Only One 8 Down 15 14 13 12 Sia - Chandelier 1 Down 11 Olly Murs - Wrapped Up 10 9 Cheryl Cole - I Don't Care 7 Down 8 Calvin Harris & Ellie Goulding - Outside 7 Taylor Swift - Shake It Off 1 Down 6 Clean Bandit - Real Love 5 Meghan Trainor - All About That Bass 1 Down 4 One Direction - Steal My Girl 3 Up 3 Gareth Malone's All Star Choir - Wake Me Up! 2 Ed Sheeran - Thinking Out Loud 1 Down 1 David Guetta - Dangerous 2 Up "But don't MTV Europe show some positions outside the Top 20?", you might ask. Well, yes, they do. And they did this time, too - they played 6 songs before "All Of Me" by John Legend. However, the numbers they showed were completely chaotic! I have no idea what the real positions of those songs are so I haven't included them in the chart. Just to show you how absurd this was, I'll write them below in the exact sequence that they were broadcast by MTV Europe: 24 Nicki Minaj - Anaconda 20 The Veronicas - You Ruin Me 19 OneRepublic - I Lived 23 Parra For Cuva - Wicked Games 22 Lilly Wood & The Prick - Prayer In C 16 George Ezra - Blame It On Me
  5. Euro Top 40 - (as broadcast on MTV Europe) Here is the chart of November 22, 2014: 40 39 38 37 36 35 34 33 Iggy Azalea & Rita Ora - Black Widow 32 31 30 29 The Script - Superheroes 28 Nicki Minaj - Anaconda 27 OneRepublic - I Lived 26 Sigma & Paloma Faith - Changing 25 24 23 22 George Ezra - Blame It On Me 21 Fuse ODG - T.I.N.A. 20 Waze, Odyssey & R. Kelly - Bump 'N' Grind 2014 19 18 Lilly Wood & The Prick - Prayer In C 17 Tove Lo - Habits 16 15 14 13 John Legend - All Of Me 12 11 Sia - Chandelier 10 Parra For Cuva - Wicked Games 9 Jessie J, Ariana Grande & Nicki Minaj - Bang Bang 8 Sam Smith - I'm Not The Only One 7 One Direction - Steal My Girl 6 Taylor Swift - Shake It Off 5 Calvin Harris & John Newman - Blame 4 Meghan Trainor - All About That Bass 3 David Guetta - Dangerous 2 Cheryl Cole - I Don't Care 1 Ed Sheeran - Thinking Out Loud So, I missed 2 editions of this chart. Judging by MTV Italy's Euro Top 20, there was a change at the top during each of those weeks. In the chart of November 8 "Thinking Out Loud" by Ed Sheeran climbed to number 1. Then in the chart of November 15 "All About That Bass" by Meghan Trainor returned to the top spot of the chart. And now it's replaced again by "Thinking Out Loud" - which is Ed Sheeran's second number 1 in the "Euro Top Chart" after "Sing". The problem is that the UK singles chart is still having too big of an influence on this chart... Having "I Don't Care" by Cheryl Cole at number 2 is absurd...
  6. Judging by the Euro Top Chart broadcast by MTV Europe, "Black Widow" by Iggy Azalea and Rita Ora is actually at number 20. The song at number 19 is "I'm Not The Only One" by Sam Smith.
  7. Euro Top 40 - (as broadcast on MTV Europe) Here is the chart of November 1, 2014: 40 39 38 37 36 35 34 33 32 31 30 29 28 27 26 Wilkinson - Dirty Love 25 Sheppard - Geronimo 4 Up 24 23 MAGIC! - Rude Stay => 22 21 Ella Henderson - Glow 10 Down 20 Iggy Azalea & Rita Ora - Black Widow 3 Down 19 Sam Smith - I'm Not The Only One 3 Up 18 David Guetta - Lovers On The Sun 2 Down 17 The Script - Superheroes 2 Down 16 15 John Legend - All Of Me 5 Up 14 The Vamps & Shawn Mendes - Oh Cecilia 13 Ariana Grande & Zedd - Break Free 5 Up 12 Eminem & Sia - Guts Over Fear 11 Sia - Chandelier 2 Down 10 Sigma & Paloma Faith - Changing 3 Up 9 8 Nicki Minaj - Anaconda 5 Down 7 Lilly Wood & The Prick - Prayer In C 2 Down 6 Calvin Harris & John Newman - Blame 4 Down 5 4 Ed Sheeran - Thinking Out Loud 6 Up 3 Jessie J, Ariana Grande & Nicki Minaj - Bang Bang 1 Up 2 Meghan Trainor - All About That Bass 1 Down 1 Taylor Swift - Shake It Off 5 Up Well, Meghan Trainor's reign lasted only one week (so far, of course)! As I watched the chart and we were reaching the final positions, I had this crazy thought: "Would it be possible for "Shake It Off" by Taylor Swift to somehow jump to the top?"... Still, I was SHOCKED when that actually happened! In what appears to be its 9th week in the chart, it reclimbs 6-1... Definitely one of the more surprising number ones - not only in this "Euro Top Chart" but in the "real" old MTV European Top 20, too! In this week's edition of "What are these songs doing in this chart?" - "Dirty Love" by Wilkinson and "Oh Cecilia" (while I find The Vamps' music nice, they have to actually release their singles in various European countries, otherwise they have no place HERE). And I'm extremely pleased that "All Of Me" by John Legend is going 5 places back up to number 15 this week. While this wonderful song only reached a peak position of number 5, it's really having the longevity it deserves in the chart!
  8. Euro Top 40 - (as broadcast on MTV Europe) Here is the chart of October 25, 2014: 40 39 38 37 36 35 34 33 32 31 30 29 Sheppard - Geronimo 28 27 26 25 24 23 MAGIC! - Rude 5 Down 22 Sam Smith - I'm Not The Only One 8 Down 21 Usher - She Came To Give It To You 20 John Legend - All Of Me 1 Down 19 The Magician & Years And Years - Sunlight 11 Down 18 Ariana Grande & Zedd - Break Free 2 Down 17 Iggy Azalea & Rita Ora - Black Widow 7 Down 16 David Guetta - Lovers On The Sun 3 Down 15 The Script - Superheroes 4 Down 14 13 Sigma & Paloma Faith - Changing 6 Down 12 George Ezra - Blame It On Me 3 Down 11 Ella Henderson - Glow 10 Ed Sheeran - Thinking Out Loud 9 Sia - Chandelier 3 Down 8 7 6 Taylor Swift - Shake It Off 1 Down 5 Lilly Wood & The Prick - Prayer In C 1 Down 4 Jessie J, Ariana Grande & Nicki Minaj - Bang Bang 3 Down 3 Nicki Minaj - Anaconda 9 Up 2 Calvin Harris & John Newman - Blame 1 Up 1 Meghan Trainor - All About That Bass 1 Up I'm happy to see "Geronimo" by Sheppard in the chart - it's nice that songs not yet in the UK singles chart are still allowed here... Sadly, another song titled "Geronimo" - by Aura Dione - never appeared in MTV European Top 20... although 2 other songs of hers - "I Will Love You Monday" and "Friends" - did enter the chart... And it seems like MTV Europe have been skipping another song for several weeks while broadcasting this chart - "Take Me To Church" by Hozier.
  9. Euro Top 40 - (as broadcast on MTV Europe) Here is the chart of October 18, 2014: 40 39 38 37 36 35 34 33 32 31 30 29 28 27 26 25 24 23 22 Maroon 5 - Maps 21 Professor Green & Tori Kelly - Lullaby 20 Ella Eyre - Comeback 19 John Legend - All Of Me 18 MAGIC! - Rude 17 Labrinth - Let It Be 16 Ariana Grande & Zedd - Break Free 15 Ella Henderson - Ghost 14 Sam Smith - I'm Not The Only One 13 David Guetta - Lovers On The Sun 12 Nicki Minaj - Anaconda 11 The Script - Superheroes 10 Iggy Azalea & Rita Ora - Black Widow 9 George Ezra - Blame It On Me 8 The Magician & Years And Years - Sunlight 7 Sigma & Paloma Faith - Changing 6 Sia - Chandelier 5 Taylor Swift - Shake It Off 4 Lilly Wood & The Prick - Prayer In C 3 Calvin Harris & John Newman - Blame 2 Meghan Trainor - All About That Bass 1 Jessie J, Ariana Grande & Nicki Minaj - Bang Bang I missed last week's edition of the chart but the number 1 is the same this week ("Bang Bang"). I expect that to change as early as next week - "All About That Bass" by Meghan Trainor is inevitably going to conquer the top spot, the only question is: for how long? It's good that MTV Europe played all the songs in the Top 22 and didn't skip anything. However, nowadays it seems that any song that appears in (or a little below) the Top 10 of the UK singles chart is almost guaranteed to appear in the "Euro Top Chart" as well...
  10. "Maps" by Maroon 5 is a re-entry.
  11. Do you think there is a similar live stream for MTV Europe? It looks like I won't be able to watch the "Euro Top Chart" this week, either...
  12. Euro Top 40 - (as broadcast on MTV Europe) Here is the chart of October 4, 2014: 40 39 38 37 36 35 34 33 32 31 30 29 28 27 26 25 Duke Dumont - Won't Look Back 24 John Legend - All Of Me 23 22 G.R.L. - Ugly Heart 21 20 19 18 Nico & Vinz - Am I Wrong 17 Iggy Azalea & Rita Ora - Black Widow 16 15 Ella Henderson - Ghost 14 Ed Sheeran - Don't 13 Meghan Trainor - All About That Bass 12 George Ezra - Blame It On Me 11 Sia - Chandelier 10 Sam Smith - I'm Not The Only One 9 David Guetta - Lovers On The Sun 8 MAGIC! - Rude 7 Jessie J, Ariana Grande & Nicki Minaj - Bang Bang 6 The Script - Superheroes 5 Professor Green & Tori Kelly - Lullaby 4 Lilly Wood & The Prick - Prayer In C 3 Taylor Swift - Shake It Off 2 Calvin Harris & John Newman - Blame 1 Sigma & Paloma Faith - Changing sdizda, unfortunately, I don't think there is a way to watch MTV Europe online... The fact that I missed last week's edition of the chart means that I also missed a change at the top - supposedly, "Blame" by Calvin Harris and John Newman reached number 1. However, this week there is another chart-topper - "Changing" by Sigma and Paloma Faith... I'm becoming increasingly disappointed with this "Euro Top Chart". I could somehow understand "Blame" becoming number 1 since it's doing well in various European countries. However, what has "Changing" achieved apart from reaching number 1 in the UK chart? So far it hasn't even appeared in most European charts! At least at this point, "Changing" seems to be one of the least deserving number ones in MTV Europe's chart ever...
  13. IMPORTANT: This weekend I won't be able to watch the "Euro Top Chart". Would someone who has access to MTV Europe be so kind to watch the chart and write it down? MTV Europe broadcasts it 3 times during the weekend: from 12:00 to 14:00 CET on Saturday; from 19:00 to 21:00 CET on Saturday; and from 14:00 to 16:00 CET on Sunday.
  14. "Waves" by Mr. Probz is a re-entry.
  15. "Zombie" by The Cranberries was a HUGE hit all across Europe... yet somehow only reached number 14 in the UK chart...
  16. Euro Top 40 - (as broadcast on MTV Europe) Here is the chart of September 20, 2014: 40 39 38 37 36 35 34 33 32 31 30 29 28 27 26 25 24 23 Ariana Grande & Zedd - Break Free 22 Wankelmut & Emma Louise - My Head Is A Jungle 6 Down 21 George Ezra - Budapest 1 Down 20 Mr. Probz - Waves 19 ZHU - Faded 2 Down 18 John Legend - All Of Me Stay => 17 16 OneRepublic - Love Runs Out 6 Down 15 Ed Sheeran - Don't 4 Down 14 Sia - Chandelier 2 Down 13 Nico & Vinz - Am I Wrong 5 Down 12 11 G.R.L. - Ugly Heart 10 Ella Henderson - Ghost 1 Down 9 MAGIC! - Rude 5 Down 8 Maroon 5 - Maps 3 Down 7 Sam Smith - I'm Not The Only One 6 Duke Dumont - Won't Look Back 5 Iggy Azalea & Rita Ora - Black Widow 2 Up 4 Taylor Swift - Shake It Off 2 Down 3 The Script - Superheroes 10 Up 2 David Guetta - Lovers On The Sun 1 Lilly Wood & The Prick - Prayer In C Stay => MTV Europe finally played "Lovers On The Sun" by David Guetta! Unfortunately, the influence of the UK singles chart is just getting bigger and bigger... After all, this is supposed to be a chart for the whole of Europe!
  17. Euro Top 40 - (as broadcast on MTV Europe) Here is the chart of September 13, 2014: 40 39 38 37 36 35 34 33 32 31 30 29 28 27 26 25 24 23 Lethal Bizzle - Rari WorkOut 22 21 Coldplay - A Sky Full Of Stars 1 Down 20 George Ezra - Budapest 9 Down 19 Charli XCX - Boom Clap Stay => 18 John Legend - All Of Me 6 Down 17 ZHU - Faded 2 Down 16 Wankelmut & Emma Louise - My Head Is A Jungle 6 Down 15 Duke Dumont - I Got U 14 Ariana Grande & Iggy Azalea - Problem 1 Down 13 The Script - Superheroes 12 Sia - Chandelier 3 Down 11 Ed Sheeran - Don't 10 OneRepublic - Love Runs Out 5 Down 9 Ella Henderson - Ghost 2 Down 8 Nico & Vinz - Am I Wrong 2 Down 7 Iggy Azalea & Rita Ora - Black Widow 11 Up 6 Sam Smith - Stay With Me 8 Up 5 Maroon 5 - Maps 12 Up 4 MAGIC! - Rude 1 Down 3 2 Taylor Swift - Shake It Off 2 Up 1 Lilly Wood & The Prick - Prayer In C Stay => I'm not sure what Lethal Bizzle is doing in the chart... and I think, at least for now, "Shake It Off" by Taylor Swift doesn't deserve to be as high as number 2.
  18. Euro Top 40 - (as broadcast on MTV Europe) Here is the chart of September 6, 2014: 40 39 38 37 36 35 34 33 32 31 30 29 28 27 26 25 24 Kiesza - Hideaway Stay => 23 Mr. Probz - Waves 7 Down 22 Calvin Harris - Summer 4 Down 21 Oliver Heldens - Gecko 1 Up 20 Coldplay - A Sky Full Of Stars 6 Down 19 Charli XCX - Boom Clap 4 Down 18 Iggy Azalea & Rita Ora - Black Widow 17 Maroon 5 - Maps 16 15 ZHU - Faded 7 Down 14 Sam Smith - Stay With Me 2 Down 13 Ariana Grande & Iggy Azalea - Problem 12 John Legend - All Of Me 2 Down 11 George Ezra - Budapest 2 Down 10 Wankelmut & Emma Louise - My Head Is A Jungle 9 Sia - Chandelier 2 Up 8 Ed Sheeran - Sing 11 Up 7 Ella Henderson - Ghost 1 Down 6 Nico & Vinz - Am I Wrong 4 Down 5 OneRepublic - Love Runs Out 1 Down 4 Taylor Swift - Shake It Off 3 MAGIC! - Rude 4 Up 2 1 Lilly Wood & The Prick - Prayer In C Stay => Things are getting even more absurd... Now MTV Europe skipped the number 2 (supposedly, "Lovers On The Sun" by David Guetta). If it reaches the top, will MTV Europe skip the number 1!?... And then they suddenly start playing "Problem" by Ariana Grande and Iggy Azalea again - now that it's left the Top 10... and in an edition of the chart when they also play another song by Iggy Azalea ("Black Widow")... It also looks like the UK chart has begun to have a bigger influence on the "Euro Top Chart" - something I'm not happy about...
  19. On the one hand, in theory, I know what the missing positions are. On the other hand, there have been cases when there have been minor differences between MTV Europe's "Euro Top Chart" and MTV Italy's "Euro Top 20". In general, until MTV Europe start putting the chart on a website, I'd prefer not to post the missing positions. This way, I'm also showing the chart as it's broadcast on MTV Europe - the songs that they are playing... and not playing.
  20. Euro Top 40 - (as broadcast on MTV Europe) Here is the chart of August 30, 2014: 40 39 38 37 36 35 34 33 32 31 30 29 28 27 26 Michael Jackson & Justin Timberlake - Love Never Felt So Good 25 24 Kiesza - Hideaway 23 22 Oliver Heldens - Gecko 21 Sigma - Nobody To Love 20 Jason Derulo - Wiggle 19 Ed Sheeran - Sing 18 Calvin Harris - Summer 17 Bakermat - Vandaag 16 Mr. Probz - Waves 15 Charli XCX - Boom Clap 14 Coldplay - A Sky Full Of Stars 13 Cheryl Cole - Crazy Stupid Love 12 Sam Smith - Stay With Me 11 Sia - Chandelier 10 John Legend - All Of Me 9 George Ezra - Budapest 8 ZHU - Faded 7 MAGIC! - Rude 6 Ella Henderson - Ghost 5 4 OneRepublic - Love Runs Out 3 2 Nico & Vinz - Am I Wrong 1 Lilly Wood & The Prick - Prayer In C It's a pity that I wasn't able to watch the chart of August 23! Judging by MTV Italy's "Euro Top 20", there are a lot of huge movements! The previous chart-topper - "Summer" by Calvin Harris - falls 17 places to number 18!!! "A Sky Full Of Stars" by Coldplay, "Waves" by Mr. Probz and "Sing" by Ed Sheeran are also leaving the Top 10, making 10+ place falls... And then there are several big climbers. However, usually when the chart becomes so dynamic, the following edition is an almost complete reversal of the movements... We'll see whether that remains true next week. Unsurprisingly, "Prayer In C" becomes the new number 1. But I really don't understand the vendetta that MTV Europe have against "Problem" by Ariana Grande and Iggy Azalea. How can they not play the number 3 in the chart?!...
  21. IMPORTANT: Next weekend I won't be able to watch the "Euro Top Chart".
  22. "Budapest" by George Ezra is actually a re-entry.
  23. Euro Top 40 - (as broadcast on MTV Europe) Here is the chart of August 16, 2014: 40 39 38 37 36 35 34 33 32 31 30 29 28 27 26 Pitbull - We Are One 1 Down 25 24 23 Katy Perry - Birthday 3 Down 22 Avicii - Addicted To You 5 Down 21 Duke Dumont - I Got U 5 Down 20 Sia - Chandelier 19 Ella Henderson - Ghost Stay => 18 George Ezra - Budapest 3 Up 17 MAGIC! - Rude 16 15 Michael Jackson & Justin Timberlake - Love Never Felt So Good Stay => 14 Pharrell Williams - Happy Stay => 13 Sigma - Nobody To Love 3 Down 12 Lilly Wood & The Prick - Prayer In C 11 Rita Ora - I Will Never Let You Down 4 Down 10 OneRepublic - Love Runs Out 1 Up 9 Sam Smith - Stay With Me 3 Up 8 Nico & Vinz - Am I Wrong 6 Down 7 Clean Bandit - Rather Be 2 Up 6 5 John Legend - All Of Me 3 Up 4 Ed Sheeran - Sing 2 Up 3 Mr. Probz - Waves 2 Down 2 Coldplay - A Sky Full Of Stars 2 Up 1 Calvin Harris - Summer 2 Up MTV Europe have actually started playing "Prayer In C" much earlier than I expected! On the other hand, there has been something peculiar recently. From time to time it happens that in the beginning MTV Europe don't play certain songs but after several weeks they start playing them... However, in the case of "Problem" by Ariana Grande and Iggy Azalea, the opposite happened - MTV Europe played it the first few weeks... and then they started skipping it! Why? It's supposed to be at number 6 this week. Last time I wrote that "Am I Wrong" was the biggest contender for the number 1 spot... but now it falls 6 places back to number 8! What I didn't write last time was that I actually considered "A Sky Full Of Stars" by Colplay as most likely to replace "Waves" by Mr. Probz at the top... and I was so close! But I really didn't think "Summer" by Calvin Harris would become the new number 1...
  24. Euro Top 40 - (as broadcast on MTV Europe) Here is the chart of August 9, 2014: 40 39 38 37 36 35 34 33 32 31 30 29 28 27 26 25 Pitbull - We Are One 10 Down 24 Iggy Azalea & Charli XCX - Fancy 23 22 Faul, Wad Ad & Pnau - Changes 21 George Ezra - Budapest Stay => 20 Katy Perry - Birthday 1 Down 19 Ella Henderson - Ghost 1 Up 18 Jason Derulo - Wiggle 6 Up 17 Avicii - Addicted To You Stay => 16 Duke Dumont - I Got U Stay => 15 Michael Jackson & Justin Timberlake - Love Never Felt So Good 2 Down 14 Pharrell Williams - Happy 3 Down 13 12 Sam Smith - Stay With Me 2 Down 11 OneRepublic - Love Runs Out 1 Up 10 Sigma - Nobody To Love 4 Up 9 Clean Bandit - Rather Be 3 Down 8 John Legend - All Of Me 3 Down 7 Rita Ora - I Will Never Let You Down 2 Up 6 Ed Sheeran - Sing 2 Down 5 4 Coldplay - A Sky Full Of Stars 1 Down 3 Calvin Harris - Summer 1 Down 2 Nico & Vinz - Am I Wrong 6 Up 1 Mr. Probz - Waves Stay => Ben, sadly, MTV Europe's website hasn't been updated since November 2013! "Prayer In C" is at number 13 this week but so far MTV Europe have been skipping it... I think they'll start playing it in several weeks' time. And by climbing 6 places to number 2, "Am I Wrong" by Nico and Vinz presents itself as the biggest contender for the number 1 spot!
  25. Euro Top 40 - (as broadcast on MTV Europe) Here is the chart of August 2, 2014: 40 39 38 37 36 35 34 33 32 31 30 29 28 27 26 25 Aloe Blacc - The Man 6 Down 24 Jason Derulo - Wiggle 23 22 21 George Ezra - Budapest 1 Down 20 Ella Henderson - Ghost 1 Up 19 Katy Perry - Birthday 6 Down 18 17 Avicii - Addicted To You Stay => 16 Duke Dumont - I Got U 1 Down 15 Pitbull - We Are One 1 Up 14 Sigma - Nobody To Love Stay => 13 Michael Jackson & Justin Timberlake - Love Never Felt So Good 3 Down 12 OneRepublic - Love Runs Out 6 Up 11 Pharrell Williams - Happy 2 Down 10 Sam Smith - Stay With Me 1 Up 9 Rita Ora - I Will Never Let You Down 1 Down 8 Nico & Vinz - Am I Wrong 4 Up 7 6 Clean Bandit - Rather Be 1 Down 5 John Legend - All Of Me 1 Up 4 Ed Sheeran - Sing 1 Down 3 Coldplay - A Sky Full Of Stars 1 Up 2 Calvin Harris - Summer Stay => 1 Mr. Probz - Waves Stay => *** Between "Wiggle" by Jason Derulo at number 24 and "Budapest" by George Ezra at number 21, MTV Europe played "Chandelier" by Sia... but showed it as NUMBER 20!?... Since I have no way of knowing whether the song actually is at number 23 or number 22, I haven't listed it in this edition of the chart at all. It's a pity...
