Do u even no wot ur chatting about. Spice Girls wrote all of their own songs unlike most pop stars these days, that is NT their fault. Spice Girls made pop music ALIVE again and then came along other pop artists when mostly boy bands dominated the charts (that was a good thing). Spice Girls will always be a global phenomenon, it doesn't matter what you or anyone says. Now can you lot please just talk about sales and not diss other groups.

Well I disagree with you on every level. Why shouldn't they do it for money? They are working damn hard. Yea, they don't need the money for the single which is why they made it for CIN, Why shouldn't they, its for a good cause? So many other artists appeared on CIN just to promote their music, isn't that cheap? At least Spice Girls HAD a reason to perform there. UK just love to diss them from day 1 and they have proved them wrong. Spice Girls should move to America where they get far more respect then their own home country. I love their music and so do about 55-60 million pple who bought their albums.

thanx, Such a shame but tbh Spice Girls don't even care, I care about the number one position. I don't even follow charts anymore unless Madonna is releasing something. I only decided to come back to this because Spice Girls came back (they r also the reason why I joined this forum). I hope they climb up, i really do.

I just get upset at the fact that pple want them to fail, I dunno y. I don't want other acts to fail including GA. I really like their new song (I've even got their 1st album) but when pple diss my all time favs then I av to stick up for myself and state the facts. If spice girls enter at number 2, that aint a flop but I just want them to be number one. Is that wrong?

Y do u ppl hate the Spice Girls so much, what have they done to you lot? All they did was bring fantastic pop music and open doors for girls groups and female stars such as Destiny's child, Girls Aloud, Britney spears etc. I hope Spice Girls climb to number one, they deserve it just for being legends. Leona had her time, she spent 4 weeks at number one u greedy pple, let someone else have it. Plus Leona has a whole lifetime to get number ones, SG dn't as this is just for the fans as a thank U. Even if they don't climb at the top, Girls Aloud can NEVER match their record breaking 9 number ones (wriiten by themselves).

Yes I am. one from tesco, one from HMV and will download from Itunes and maybe woolies. Just remember if it wasn't for Spice Girls there wud be no Girls Aloud (I'm sure they wud tell you the same thing).

Well done for spice Girls for at least getting the number 2 spot. BTW do u guys know how much Spice girls have already sold in America? Spice Girls Greatest Hits has already gone gold which is over 500,000 copies sold. Like I said, UK isn't worth it for the SG cos USA is more difficult to crack and after 10 years (7 years being away) they still can sell that many records. Their song is also climbing the billboard single charts. The only sad thing is the fact that Victoria's secrets don't give out their sales info to soundscan so it won't be eligible to enter the billboards 200 album charts at number one. If it did it wud av kicked Alicia keys behind and enter at no: 1. Americans are the best, SG move over there. I do hope the single goes in at number one in the UK cos that is important to me (Spice Girls could care less)

Well I cnt think of any pop group esp a female group but the bottom line is this; UK disses the SG all the time and the girls keep proving them wrong (however they still diss them)

Have you ever seen them Live? I take that as a no. Spice Girls are FANTASTIC live and they have nothing to prove. they aren't coming back and this is just a frewell tour so why should they pefrom live (british public is gnna diss dem anyway) From day one British ppl love to diss them.....it's such a shame as they are the only british talent since the beatles to really cross over to the rest of the world. Americans are waaaayyyy more loyal and even the non-fans respect them. I think Spice girls should just move to America cos they get waaayyyy more respect there than this country.

They mimed due to production reasons and they said they rather 'be safe than sorry' so I don't have a problem with that. I think only the fans that paid to see them live deserve to get a live performance from them and they have PROMISED us they will on tour (they always sing live on tour). I know there isn't a saturday update but I just wanna know if anyone knows the total sales incul friday sales, thats all.

I like the song esp cos of the CIN performance. I love the Spice Girls so I want them to be number one plus this is their last single EVER!

Thanx. Anyone know how much Spice Girls GH has sold so far including the Friday sales (not Friday update cos that includes thursday sales so I want a Sat update) Surly they must have sold 70k by now? Anyone?

I've already bought the Headlines download (last week) and I will buy the spice Girls single tomorrow. If I buy my copy tomorrow, will it count in next weeks chart (I hope so).

What on earth r u chatting about, maybe u've ben living under a rock, but Spice girls tickets sold out in minutes. They are the ONLY british group that are capable of adding dates in places like China, Canada and the US. They are doing 6 dates in New York alone, that's bloody fantastic. Leona has got a longggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg way to go (Gudluck to her though)

Look I'm not gonna dis Take That cos I REALLY like dem but for you to say Spice Girls still have tickets left is just a joke. They did release a few more seats but the fact is Spice Girls are doing 17 shows in London alone and don't forget 2 dates in Manchester that sold out in less than 18 minutes (not forgetting the London date sold out in a record 38 secs). They amazing thing is for the first date you needed a code and only some fans got that (i was one of em) and it STILL sold out in 38 secs) I bet you any money they could have done more but they don't want to. Spice Girls have been hyped BUT they have hardly performed or even mentioned that their album is out or anyfin like that. 2nite's CIN is gonna be the real promotion for them as they will sing Stop and new single Headlines. True, no one can touch Take that rite now in the UK BT Spice girls were and R truly GLOBAL and take that will neva be that (Just a fact)

I REALLY wanna c dem live but I'm already going to the Spice Girls concert twice and Take That tickets went on sale b4 them but sold out very quickly. They are so expensive on eBay and I can't even afford to go to the new year's eve show (have you heard about that). I can't believe they are only gonna do one more album??? Why are they not gonna carry on, they are so good now, they should at least do another two studio albums unless the album flops, which I doubt. If they do another two then they'll have 3 new albums done and they can have a greatest hits out with a few new songs and then end it there.

No I didn't. The first greatest hits doesn't count cos they were still in their prime so they wud sell so many. Can you imagine if the spice girls greatest hits came out in their prime? I think Spice Girls aren't doing bad with hardly any promotion.

Norma, do you know when a new Take That album (full of new material) is coming out? I'm a fan of the new Take That minus robbie and the reason why they are doing so well is because they have bloody fantastic songs. They have reinvented themselves and it has worked. Take That have become serious musical performers. I also believe they will get better and better. P.S. I bought my SG greatest hits CD+DVD last night, it's wicked! :yahoo:

oh so Spice Girls aren't doing that bad cos they will probably sell the same as Take That's Greatest Hits. Beautiful world was full of new material as it was a full studio album. That kinda makes me feel better. P.S. tomorrow's Children in need performance should boost sales. fingers crossed.

Totally agree with both of you. Such a shame on poor take that, they deserve the number one position. I LOVE Kylie but that song isn't as good as the rest of her album. 2 hearts gives the impression that Kylie's taking a different route with her music, HOWEVER, her new album X sounds exactly like Fever (my favorite female solo album of all time). X is like Fever part 2 and if any of you haven't heard bits of it, you should go to her official site and download a free remix. She could have easily released Like a drug, In my arms or even The one. I still can't believe she is number 2, I hope Take That overtake her. I just hope next week Spice girls single Headlines goes to number one (come on ppl, it's for charity)
