'Derek'
This is brilliant. Gervais has done really well, I think he even sends a decent message with this. Funny moments, real bleak outlook on our society, or at least personalities in our society and how we ignore the elderly, and for that matter people with say special needs (which is why Derek is at the care home along with other ignored/talked down about as unemployed represented by Kev). Genuinely moving at times. Episode 3 has been the best so far. Perhaps Gervais' best work?

blink-182 | 'Dogs Eating Dogs' [EP]
it shits all over Neighborhoods to be honest. Not a weak track. Only ruined by that really shit and out of place rap by yelawolf. It could also do with more Mark vocals, Travis just dominates this though. what a god.

'Looper' (28.09.2012)
This was pretty f***ing brilliant to be honest. JGL with a Bruce Willis face was f***ing weird though.

US TV schedules ✞ fall '12
it's clearly going to be incredible. Joss Whedon is pure gold. What new shows you starting this season Rooney? i'm only going with Revolution and 666 Park Avenue I think (purely for Terry O'Quinn)

oh no 4.9 from pitchfork, it's cause it's not cool to like bloc party anymore. album is at least a 7 for me. it's definitely a better album than intimacy.

This is a bit damn heavy isn't it. in a great way. they suit heavy. only just finishing my first listen, pretty sure it's better than intimacy but need a few more listens. probably not better than AWITC, that just works too well as an album, this could well have some better songs though, definitely think these tracks will be immense live, infact they are as I've already seen a lot of them played live.

I watched this for the first time 2 weeks ago, and finished it today, so incredibly addictive and easily the best sitcom for f*** knows how long. Shame about what they are doing with firing Dan Harmon, sounds like a retarded move. Having withdrawl symptoms now I have finished, have watched at least 2 episodes a day for 2 weeks, might just have to start it again.

Batman: The Dark Knight Rises
this wasn't as great as I hoped, it was kind of epic but there were too many plot holes, Found Bane muffled as well, sometimes he was really clear but a lot of the time very muffled, thought he was an awesome villain though.

The Gaslight Anthem - Handwritten

Keith Lemon: The Film
Nothing depresses me and makes me want to kill myself more than the existence of this film.

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo
Woah, disagree with that, I thought Rapace's performance is up their as one of the best female performances ever, she's incredible, but that said Rooney Mara was also very very very good and nailed the character, but I do think Rapace was better. I agree that Fincher's is a more faithful adaption though, I do need to rewatched the Swedish one though as I've seen Fincher's a few times now since I saw the Swedish version so it's getting hard to compare.

nothing leaked iirc, Kele invited himself onto zane lowe like a week after Mercury was recorded and played it. Gonna download Octopus right now.

SPIDERMAN 4 CANCELLED, FRANCHISE REBOOTED
Yeah so I saw it yesterday. it was average. made very little impact on me to be honest, I wouldn't say I disliked it but I wouldn't particularly care about seeing it again. Felt very rushed, thought Emma Stone was f***ing terrible. The story structure needed work. I reckon if they aimed for summer 2013 it would have not only been a better film but would do better at box office (not being against batman and avengers). My main thought throughout the film was that i can't f***ing wait for Dark Knight Rises. The action scenes were well done though in my opinion, maybe the final fight was a bit anti-climatic though, the school fight was amazing though. Not a patch on Spider-man 2 (or 1 for that matter, probably better than 3 but let's face it that is not a hard achievement).

SPIDERMAN 4 CANCELLED, FRANCHISE REBOOTED
he won't be in Avengers, completely different film studio making them. that and spidey isn't a traditional avenger. i haven't seen this yet, not even sure if i want to, i don't want to be closeminded if i do go and see it but this film is just unnecessary and from what i heard that is no peter parker, i'm sorry but any film that f***s with the key characteristics of their main character are morons. also people criticising this for having more drama than action can also suck a f*** and maybe pick up a spider-man comic.

I think they played Octopus in London, excited to hear the proper recording though. it's been so long. Glad the single is so soon as well, are they releasing it without airplay first?

Bloc Party.
yeah theres no way it could top Silent Alarm, if anything last night reminded me just how incredible Silent Alarm is. I do think AWITC is a really strong album too though, but to be fair we can't really compare the albums until Four has been out for a while, but Intimacy has always been a lot weaker than the others, a couple of killer tracks (Ares, Biko) but overall no where near as strong as the first 2 albums, and from what I heard last night new stuff sounds more older Bloc and just better than Initmacy to be honest.

IT WAS MOST ENJOYABLE. although I've seen blink twice recently so every gig now is a bit anti-climax compared. BUT, they played really well, probably not the best I've seen them but the most confident, they played a f*** load of new songs and they were sounding brilliant. I've even seen/heard a few people compare one song to Rage Against The Machine. It was crazy seeing them in such a small venue too, oh and Like Eating Glass and This Modern Love, what amazing songs, it was all good to bounce around during Ares and Helicopter but those slower tunes did more for me last night, you feel more emotion in the performance. Already I'm saying Four > Intimacy though, to the joy of probably everyone, they've ditched the synths. Although it was cool seeing them in a small venue like that, I kind of perfer seeing them late at Reading Fest because it's just far more loud and explosive seeing them take on such a huge show rather than putting that show in a more intimate setting. Glad you're finally getting to see them live Cremey. You'll get to see them knowing the new songs as well which will be cool. Can't wait for the album after last night now. Sorry that was a bit rambling and I repeated myself loads.
