  3. well i'm assuming it's zane lowe's "hottest record in the world today" which is normally at 7.30. could you not get overly bitchy about blink's smallest mistakes, they only messed up on facebook statuses and tweets, if you hate them so much now that even a small cock up of getting a time wrong annoys you maybe you shouldn't bother following them anymore?
  4. i'm looking forward to the track tonight. should be at 7.30pm on radio 1.

yeah i find that rather anti-climatic. i wouldnt say i havent enjoyed the series but it has been a bit weak, especially compared to how incredible Children of Earth was.
  6. since when did personal favourite and best in the world have the same meaning?
  7. sorry what, where did i say he was the best vocalist in the world ever? i put him as vocalist in my fantasy band I never said he was the 'best vocalist in the world ever'.

    this has my upmost approval.
  15. i think the problem is there's too many under 18's going, i'm not generalising there are plenty of kids who take to the festival well but 90% of the people getting on my tits did seem to be about 16. anyone who shouts Alan really does need to be hit. The worst thing is moshing to unmoshable music, like The Naked and Famous which was a massive dissapointment for me due to the crowd, i surprisingly felt old and a bunch of guys who looked around 16 started a pit and it's like how, and then someone with a video camera walked into the crowd (like it looked like they were with the bbc but i don't think they were but it would be easy to assume) and one of them literally elbowed me in the head and pushed me to get in front of the camera, and i don't understand why if you're having a good time you don't need to purposefully go mental infront of a camera to get in a half a second shot, enjoy the band instead. and like there was a proper brutal mosh pit during madness, like one you'd expect at say enter shikari, and it's like this is a ska show why are you pushing each other rather than skanking, i always enjoy a good mosh but i don't get how you can to madness. /rantover puts me off going again tbh, even though i live near if the crowd keeps getting more dickheadish and the line up keeps being this bad and the price keeps being this high it's not gonna be worth it anymore. at least i can hide in lock up wihere it's garenteed awesome people.
  16. i'm very bruised and broken, this year didn't seem as good as normal, much higher proportion of dickheads than usual, but there was some fantastic performances, i.e Saul Williams, Does It Offend You, Yeah?, Henry Rollins, The Offspring, Capdown, Pulp, Frank Turner (x2), Death From Above 1979, Flogging Molly and Muse.
  17. i really hope Slipknot do some UK shows, if they do stop without me ever seeing them I will not be happy with my life.
  18. glad Severin got picked, and Charlie, good choices. hopefully they can breathe some life into the forum.
  19. well i can get home to my bed and shower easily anyway. but the campsite antics can often be fun, was in 2008 and 09 anyway. last year was a bit shit camping wise (partly due to the weather, partly because for some odd reason we camped with a bunch of dicks who only two of our friends knew), ending up with me just sleeping at home two nights. might be tempted to do the same this year but i'm hoping for some fun times to make up for lack of good music.
  20. a little bit i guess. i'm still not over Glasto tbh, Reading is just nothing in comparison. also this is my 6th Reading, it's nothing new and one of the worst line ups i've seen. shall still be a great weekend and one of the best of the year. doesnt really feel like it's only two days away.
  21. i still haven't got round to it. hopefully i will next week, unless i see inbetweeners instead.
  22. not long. i should feel far more excited.

i've seen the play and it's incredible, one of the few things (our of many) i've seen on stage that is done so well it literally frightens you and I just can't see how a film adaption can bring out the same audience response as the play does. that said it does look pretty good, but i don't think the story is particulary great, just the way i've seen it done is, i think part of the problem is everyone will just be seeing this because of Daniel Radcliffe and the rest of the film will be overshadowed by his performance.
  25. sounds alright but not that great. shame eric avery left. i'm looking forward to seeing them again at Reading next week, they were great when i saw them with NIN in 2009.
