  2. Was a pretty top notch episode. Richard's turned into a bit of a panzy, he looked in general fear of MiB. Really wish we'd see more of Richard. Also the boy, it looks like Jacob, at least that's what i'd say. Could possibly be Aaron I guess? Although that's clutching at straws too much I think. The ALT storyline I find a little tedious at times, but there has got to be some bigger purpose to it, i'm just not sure what. I'm pretty sure that timeline will end up being the real timeline in the end though.

would be too old to be Aaron i'd say, being a young jacob slightly crossed my mind but i dont think so, also that slightly crossed my mind, one of the kids who were on the tail section of 815 who became an other.

I've never read The Dark Tower series but I do know they draw a lot of inspiration from Steven King, and especially that series.

I have this inkling feeling that MiB wants to destroy the island. When he mentioned there was nothing to protect, I gathered he was lying. Surely there has to be something to protect, and there has to be some underlying purpose for him and Jacob being on the island. I actually don't think when MiB referred to Richard being "in chains" he was referring to Richard being on the Black Rock. I think it was more a metaphor for Richard following Jacob's orders, and now Jacob is dead he is free to do whatever he wants.

It's really bugging me though how the temple is supposedly the safest place on the island now, yet the smoke monster apparently lived there. Weird.

on the protection thing, I think MiB might not of been bull$h!tting, I think maybe its a game that got a bit to out of hand, all it is - is just an island, I was thinking all the supposed power the island had, might jsut of been Jacob, but then again there was the donkey wheel that could move the island, so who knows.

still mindf***ed from the episode tbh.

  3. When he said he broke the rules I think it was regarding Jacob, I will have to re-watch that scene, but if the boy said "You can't kill him" then he's probably talking about Sawyer. Also seeing Richard scared was lol funny.

The thing I really loved about this episode was the sequence following the smoke monster's POV. I loved it, I didn't want it to stop :D

yeah that was a cool little sequence.

  4. yes the boy was interesting, and interesting that Sawyer saw him and Richard didnt, could be to do with what side your on? (Jacob or MiB), but who was the boy refering to (who cant MiB kill? seeing as Jacob isnt dead).
  5. woah the ending was quite mind f***.

the numbers, is that what they mean, is that what the numbers were leading up to? or is that just another factor in the number mystery.

and f***, is man in black not the evil one? im really interested what his purpose is.

trying to get my head around it: everyone on the island is there for a reason, the reason is they are candidates (hand picked by Jacob, i dont think everyone who came to the island, and not everyone on flight 815 came to the island, they only came to make it feasable for the candidates to come to the island), Jacob leaves the island to hand pick them, which I think is also what happened to Richard (who is a candidate I think), and possibly Ben, although I think maybe Dhama was a big mistake Jacob didnt mean/want to happen which is why there was the incident. So they are all there because they are candidiates, that is why they are on the island, and if Jacob is the protector of the island, what is MiB? is he a candidate aswell and just not saying? How did he and Richard get their powers, or why did Jacob give them these powers.

    MIND f***ED.

wait, are only the ones shown at the numbers candidtates? what about Kate? has Kate and anyone else who is still about and a non-candiate, why are they on the island? shouldnt it just be the candidates, or have they just got stuck. MIND f***.

i think the whole thing has just been a massive game to mark who becomes the next Jacob, basically, whoever survives wins and is the next Jacob.

although then again, maybe this is all bollocks, Richard said everything MiB tells Sawyer is bollocks, I think the whole thing has been a massive game of chess between MiB and Jacob, and everyone is a pawn in it.

i want to know something more about the stones on the scales aswell, MiB obviously threw the white stone in the sea because the white was Jacob and he is now dead, did the scale mean that Jacob and MiB were balanced, but now they arent as the white stone no longer exists to balance it out? - or is that just part of an inside joke between MiB and Jacob.

oh and a smaller interesting thing, Helen said a wedding with Locke's dad, so Locke is on good terms with his dad, so he wasnt paralysed the way he was in the original timeline?

Were really starting to find the meaning of the show with them all being handpicked by Jacob meaning thats why there on the island.

  6. the only options are Albums and Singles at the momment. Hopefully it will expand to gigs and films in the future (and maybe more) but it's up to Phil and his coding. (I think when including more categories it may be laid out a bit differently).
  7. 19. Nine Inch Nails - The Slip (2008)

The most recent album from Nine Inch Nails just comes into the top 20, it is no where near the best album NIN have made, but it is still fantastic, recorded and released within three weeks, with the first single 'Discipline' coming to radio stations only 24 hours after it had been mastered. The release of this album completly came as a shock to me in 2008, with 'Ghosts I-IV' being released only about 2 months before, and 'Year Zero' being released just a year before, this is the same band who took seven years between the release of 'The Fragile' and 'With Teeth', and then one day I come online, do my usual stuff, check nin.com, woah, checked nin.com and there is a brand new album for free download, no promotion had happened, and here it was a whole new studio album from NIN, all new songs, it was amazing, immediately I downloaded and listened, and fell in love, all the different varying qualities of sound, this is what put NIN above Radiohead, with Radiohead's $h!tty 'pay what you want' scheme, they gave you the $h!ttest quality mp3's, and here was NIN offering their brand new album in the best qualities possible.

  8. 20. Blink-182 - The Mark, Tom and Travis Show (The Enema Strikes Back) (2000)

    http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51SiviCGJ3L._SS500_.jpg

Not actually the highest live album on the list, but the second highest, it's an amazingly enjoyable album that really highlights just how energetic, fun and funny a blink-182 live show is, full of witty one liners and sex jokes from Mark and Tom, and has the amazing songs they only did live ('Family Reunion', 'Blew Job') aswell as amazing versions of some of their best known tracks such as 'Whats My Age Again', 'Dammit' and 'Carousel', I remember the first time I listened to it I thought it was possibly the best blink album I had ever heard, but I think I was overating it then, but it's still a great and remarkably enjoyable listen.
