  1. 7. The Naked and Famous - Passive Me Aggressive You http://c.thewarezscene.org/i/1460280/The%20Naked%20and%20Famous%20-%20Passive%20Me,%20Aggressive%20You%20(2010).jpg genre: alternative/electropop I love this album quite a lot, definatly one of my favourite discoveries this year (thanks to UP!), got addicted to 'Young Blood', then got addicted to 'All of This' and 'Punching In A Dream', downloaded the album as soon as it came out, fell in love. My favourite thing about it is the industrial-esqe electronic beats that are clearly very influenced by Nine Inch Nails (a favourite band of a few of the members it appears, who were also the two who produced the album as well, not many new young bands produce themselves and when they do they don't sound this amazing, brilliant sound design, although i knew one of them was capable from a certain NIN fan project he produced the music for), so it was inevitable I would dig that part of the album, they have taken what is normally a non-mainstream type sound and morphed it into a pop sound, with much success. 'Girls Like You' is infectous as well. Highlight tracks: 'Young Blood' WdO85Qf4Poc 'All of This' mCHuNpkGvSo 'Girls Like You' Wqm49mNZDOE

That said also has their first use of vocals ever from the as always incredible Robert Smith. highlight tracks: Come To Me 7dDvpZvmZbk Crash Tactics 9Ag_O1j7jns Weak4 EU1u881YbYU

It's a shame he stopped writing Screenburn for The Guardian this year, everyone else they have got to attempt it are crap. I definatly loved the Smurf on the Stick bit, He really nailed in Nick Clegg as well.

basically, the offical word is that he is who he says he is... Andrew Fetterly Wilkes-Krier, but the theory is that he is a "corporate construction" (i.e he isnt an actual musician he was just created to make money and someone else wrote and recorded the music), and the theory is someone called Steev Mike is Andrew WK (in terms of the character and music), and then some people went far far far far too into it, such as the person who wrote this web page: http://awilkeskrier.homestead.com/ and basically someone claiming (or someone who is) Steev Mike was getting pissed off on not being credited for the music or something ('Steev Mike' is actually credited as producer on 'I Get Wet' and a few others, and then on the last album wasnt), that he was going to sue or f*** up Andrew WK's career, as in, tell the world Andrew WK is a fraud and stop making his music, and the first thing that website puts forward is that as soon as that happened, Andrew WK went on a musical hiatus, which sort of backs the theory up. it's all extremely strange, withy varying amounts of belivable and unbelievable evidence, i think the bigger question is, why people have cared as much as they have (mainly just looking at that website, very exhaustive considering it's about whether Andrew WK wrote his music or not.

I love all of his philosophical stuff though. Partying: it's a way of life.
  13. Iron Man 2 last night, finally watched it after months of really wanting to. Was good, but i'm biased, Robert Downey Jr good as always, thought the pace was maybe where it was weak, well shot though, as blockbusters go this was better than your average one.

woah not better than Lost. but tbh, waaaaaay better than most shows, possibly even second best for me. I disagree with your rank though, season 4 is the best for sure, but as you say, they are all amazing. i just started reading the first book as well, really good. also season 6 is confirmed god i love Dexter too much.

oh easily, you only need to look at the popularity of the tv show, it's like you're an outcast from society if you don't watch it, this will be making loads just for the fact most teens will probaly be making an effort to go see it. Inbetweeners is sort of like our American Pie in a way.
  22. I think that's the idea of doing it now.

9K-4aLeGWF4 "Red State begins by following three horny high school boys who come across an online ad from an older woman looking for a gang bang. Boys being boys, they hit the road to satisfy their libidinal urges. But what begins as a fantasy takes a dark turn as they come face-to-face with a terrifying "holy" force with a fatal agenda." Kevin Smith (who is like one of my favouritist people ever) ventures away from comedy with this new horror film coming 2011, my anticipation is high, especially after the one and only Neil Gaimen said "Best thing he's ever done. Left me shaken & grateful". probaly my most anticipated film right now.
