Being produced by Michael Bay, so i'm not gonna hold my breath for any sophistication at all. I can't tell if I think the concept is a bit silly, or not original, or original. however, i saw the trailer in the cinema and it looks pretty good.

Danny Boyle was on Film 2010 and they said something about how people were fainting in that scene, but I think they like concluded that American's are pussys.
  3. Atari Teenage Riot - Activate Crystal Castles ft Robert Smith - Not In Love Does It Offend You, Yeah? - We Are The Dead Frank Turner - I Still Believe How To Destroy Angels - The Space In Between
  4. I'm not even going to bother properly reading this, it's really uneeded of Shelli to post 4 posts in a row, let alone do that twice in one thread. i also find it humourous how after 2 people disagree with her that means Buzzjack are all "liberal lefties".
  5. I don't see how you can blame people who illegal download. Higher quality for free. why pay 99p for a w*** itunes m4a when you can get the same track in FLAC for 0p. it only makes sense. i know a music sharing site with more stuff than itunes, everything in better quality than itunes, it's just logic not to legally download, i'd pay for the service i get at said site, infact i do donate to it, and i'm sure most people who use it would actually pay quite alot a month for a service like that, but the music industry is far to backwards to actually make money properly these days. support independent artists and not major record labels. pay for decent quality and not $h!t quality or illegally download. rant over.

oh dear at people thinking wikileaks and wikipedia are the same thing. yeah all this stuff in the news is just based on wikipedia, not confirmed facts.
  8. they just confirmed for Oxegen. which pretty much confirms T in the Park tbh.
  9. I'm going to say brain damage, it's the only logical reason.
  10. I live in the south, hopefully with some help from the Tory government I shall get my very own Northern slave one day.

my last post was slight jokey, but in the end Cage goes to charity and X factor doesnt, i'd happily pay more than 99p just to help us have a humourus number 1 and to get on Simon Cowell's nerves. Maybe the track doesnt take alot of musical talent, but the amount of people at the recording who have musical talent tops the amount of people with no musical ability on x factor (i.e basically everyone on x factor is musically void). it is a lot about chairty, that's more of the point than trying to rip people off by selling them silence, the people behind it don't want money (hence why it's going to charity). oh and by the way, they did'nt pay for any of the artists on the recording. and 4'33 is one of the most creative musical pieces ever, try doing some research on what John Cage was trying to get across in his piece before assuming it's "just silence". He even claimed it was his most important work, and being one of the most greatest and respected musicians of the 20th century and THE most respected of the movement he was involved with, 4'33 being his most important work says a lot.

so to give 99p to charity you expect more than just silence back? i wonder what it feels like to be a human being like that. i remember the days when people would give to charity out of their heart and not even expect silence back.

I just brought a full HD tv (1080p), so people of this forum, please reccomend me films that are bonerifically amazing on blu-ray/in 1080p HD. i'm definatly thinking Scott Pilgrim Vs The World and The Dark Knight.
  16. http://uk.sonispherefestivals.com/flash/sonisphere-UK-800.jpg Just imagine seeing Anthrax, Megadeth, Slayer and Metallica all in a row, fuuuck.
  17. yeah i looked on Amazon and Biffy's version was number 4 (behind surfin bird, matt cardle and john cage). the chart is gonna be messy this week lol. We should get Biffy Clyro - Bodies In Flight to number 1 instead, now that is a good tune rather than that Many of Horror tripe.
  18. I just listened to this, and how the f*** did this guy win a contest based on singing? i was cringing the whole way through.
  19. he should have covered this instead: ldxTILLyYUc
  20. they are going promo made from tomorrow, i'm not saying it will all of a sudden be top 10 on itunes but expect it to rise loads on itunes tomorrow, and anyway i'd perfer to give 100% to charity by buying this rather than pay money for the terrible song that is Surfin Bird.
  21. hmm, i'd say definatly checkout Sonoio (who you might have had a taster of from UP), Pin Me Down, and maybe Losers. And if you havent already, The Naked and Famous. go through some of the highlight tracks from those releases i linked to above and then maybe check out the whole album if you liked the single tracks. Yeah definatly not as strong as Elect The Dead, I think his album was helped by me having a taster of it at his fantastic performance at Reading Festival this year, but I definatly think he is an excellent musician, I don't think that is the reason for SOAD being back at all though, they were always gonna be back at some point, and we may not even get a new SOAD album.
  22. i'm not expecting anything special, but should be worth a listen or two.

  24. 17. Sonoio - Blue http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_n1AtJuaO7Rw/TJF_lyoOVyI/AAAAAAAAAHQ/F3m5bt3-vH8/s1600/sonoio.jpg genre: alternative rock/electronica This is a beautiful album from the mega talented synth genius Allesandro Cortini (NIN live, Modwheelmood). seriously the man is amazing. The mood and style of this album is amazing and addictive. Highlight tracks: Not Worth Remembering jtPuQqIvqP8 Houdini ev5TT0eUwEU
  25. YMAS probaly cheaper due to being from the UK. All Time Low would be just as bad. I can't believe America got Weezer and we get $h!t like You Me At Six.
