  1. I agree about Total life Forever, brilliant album and tops their first by a lot.
  2. :o that's one of my favourites.
  3. oh no i love Thursday, Return of the Berserker is :s, Yes/No isnt very well written but tbh made a great opener when I saw them headling London Forum on the News & Tributes tour. it's definatly overshadowed by the fact TINTW and The Futureheads don't have any weak songs.
  4. I blame 679 recordings for N&T, them leaving that f***tard of a label was their best move ever. Although it does have some fantastic songs, Fallout, Back to te Sea, Burnt, Favours for Favours, Face, Cope, yeah actually looking back it is a GREAT album, with lots of brilliantly written songs, and yet somehow it's the worst out of their 4 albums, really shows what a great band they are. nothing will replace the first album for me though.
  5. 18. Gogol Bordello - Trans-Continental Hustle http://img651.imageshack.us/img651/4241/94871592.jpg genre: gypsy punk Fantastic album from an fantastic band, i've seen them live twice this year and so much fun both times, this album was very enjoyable and fantasically produced by Rick Rubin. Highlight tracks: Immigraniada (We Comin' Rougher) phKcbX5IFxY Pala Tute c4zkWN308dU
  6. totally forgot i got this moved out of the blink forum. anyway another Birmingham date and a Liverpool date got added this week: Friday July 1 - Birmingham NIA Monday July 4 - Liverpool Echo Arena Thursday July 7 - Sheffield Motorpoint Arena Friday July 8 - Manchester MEN Arena Tuesday July 12 - Newcastle Arena Wednesday July 13 - Nottingham Arena Friday July 15 - Birmingham LG Arena Saturday July 16 - Cardiff International Arena Monday July 18 - London o2 Arena Tuesday July 19 London o2 Arena pretty amazing if you think these are all 15,000+ venue, I know the o2 is 20,000 and MEN is 23,000. considering they are all basically sold out, and all basically sold out straight away, and they havent released anything new since 2003, this is pretty amazing that they have sold about 200,000 tickets, which is also about the same amount of people who saw them at Reading and Leeds this year. wow. oh and due to a gap in the tour and no Scotland dates they are being rumoured for T in the Park. and also for Sonisphere, but I can't see them playing Soni.
  7. MCR before Slayer was at Reading I believe.

They are sellouts because they changed their creative and unique sound for a much more commercial sound in order to gain more radio 1 airplay and sell more records, isolating their older fanbase. i miss old biffy.
  9. 19. Weezer - Hurley http://hypetrak.com/images/2010/09/Weezer-Hurley-Full-Album-Stream.jpg genre: alternative rock/powerpop This was a massive improvement on their last album "Raditude". this also wins best cover art of the year. Highlight tracks: Memories C5Fq3U_FjYc Trainwrecks zoYHOhqeyO8
  10. The EP is sooo good.
  11. 20. Cypress Hill - Rise Up http://metalwarez.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2010/04/CYPRESS-HILL-RISE-UP-2010.jpg genre: hip hop Cypress Hill successfully return with this fantastic album featuring great guest musicians such as Tom Morello and Daron Malakin. 15. hmm but being on a BBC Sound of list is normally the death of a band.
  16. http://www.nme.com/blog/index.php?blog=122...p;tb=1&pb=1 f***ing incredible remix of 'Punching In A Dream' done by Does It Offend You, Yeah?

f***ing hell. this is sickening stuff. I'd be so ashamed to be American right now.
  18. 25. Angels & Airwaves - "Love" http://mylifeinreverse.files.wordpress.com/2010/02/angels-airwaves-love.jpg genre: alternative rock/neo-prog Highlight track: I think I perfer their earlier albums but I thought this was a good listen with some excellent songs. 24. Iron Maiden - "The Final Frontier" http://www.onemetal.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/cover4.jpg genre: heavy metal Highlight track: Why kill a bad fomula right? ok so they might not have changed much as a band but this is still a powerful metal album. 23. Eminem - "Recovery" http://www.getasol.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/06/eminem-recovery-album-cover-300x300.jpg genre: hip hop Highlight track: Thank f*** for this album because I actually thought he had lost it with the terribleness that is "Relapse", ok so this isnt any where near as good as old eminem, but it's still got some great tunes and lyrics, omething which "Relapse" lacked. 22. Crystal Castles - "Crystal Castles" http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_DQkGJCBIBG8/TP9U0Yjc5wI/AAAAAAAAAr8/JKU-pd3v_Mc/s1600/crystal.castles.sleeve.2.000001.jpg genre: electronic Highlight track: I very much perfer their first, but this is still a good listen. And although it's not the version on the album, the Robert Smith vocal version of 'Not In Love' is easily one of the best tracks this year. 21. Girl Talk - All Day http://www.uncrate.com/men/images/2010/11/girl-talk-all-day.jpg genre: mash-up/electronic Highlight track: This is a mash up masterpiece, that said I think I perfer "Feed The Animals".
  19. Futureheads  always been a big fan, love The Chaos, agree about how it shows they are great that an album this good is only their third best.

exactly, all parties lie in elections (which is a major problem imo but that's a different debate), but this was the big selling point to vote for Lib Dems. I DEMAND my vote back.

Who's voting Ed Milliband next election?
  22. 30. Serj Tankian - "Imperfect Harmonies" http://www.serjtankian.com/sites/serjtankian/files/imagecache/project-preview-300x200/IH_500.jpg genre: neo-prog Highlight track: Serj is a real classy musician, although not as good as his first solo album, this is still great. 29. Kele - "The Boxer" http://media.musicfeeds.com.au/files/kele-the-boxer-7064529300.jpg genre: alternative dance Highlight track: A good first solo effort from Kele imo, but not a patch on his work with Bloc Party. 28. Losers - "Beautiful Losers" http://www.shout4music.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/loser1-300x300.jpg genre: electronic Highlight track: Easily one of the best electronic albums released this year, a collaboation between xfm DJ Eddy Temple-Morris and former The Cooper Temple Clause member Tom Bellamy. 27. Laura Marling - "I Speak Because I Can" http://cdn.pastemagazine.com/www/articles/lauramarling.jpg genre: folk Highlight track: No where near as good as her debut album, but this album does explore some interesting experimentation compared to her first. 26. The Gaslight Anthem - "American Slang" http://cdn.pastemagazine.com/www/articles/the%20gaslight%20anthem%20american%20slang.jpg genre: punk rock/heartland rock Highlight track: 'American Slang' Not as good as their two earlier albums, and too similar to their last album, but still a great album, brilliant band.
  23. and Biffy Clyro  seriously though, Slipknot is a good bag and makes me tempted to go as i really really want to see them live, but Soni sounds so much weaker this year, "Slipknot and Biffy Clyro" sounds a lot less powerful than "Iron Maiden and Rammstien" and "Metallica and Linkin Park", seriously, biffy what a joke.

Just saw this, thought it was really good, British film funded by the UK film council greatness, good films like this really p*** me off the Government are axing the UK film council. Great acting, definatly impressed by the Special effects considering it was all done on off the shelf software. shows you don't need to spend £500million to make a great looking movie.
