Okay, so who's sick of the Royal Wedding Already...?
i really couldnt give a $h!t about a royal wedding, pointless amount of fuss and money spent, i really dont see why people give a f***. "OH MY GOD SOME PEOPLE WHO ARE FAMOUS FOR BEING BORN AND LIVE OFF THE TAXPAYER ARE GETTING MARRIED, LETS DECLARE THIS A NATIONAL HOLIDAY AND WATCH IT ON TV".

The Walking Dead
i didn't mean at that percise momment, i meant the fact they are in the middle of a zombie apocolypse where they should be scavenging for food yet manage to have nice cold budwisers. it was more than just Amy that got bit for sure they just didnt focus on anyone else. there was definatly more bodies at the end but some would have been zombies. i dont know if Jim got bitten, but im hoping the same will happen as what did in the comics for him, he isnt really a character of large point.

The Walking Dead
also, how ridiculous was it that they were sitting round the campfire drinking beers, OMG ZOMBIES ARE TAKING OVER, LETS GRAB ALL THE BEER.

Jackass 3D
i really wanted to see this this week, but now i'll have to wait for a DVD and never see this in 3D in the cinema due to Harry Potter monopolising my cinema, the only showing for Jackass is at 11pm, WTF.

The Walking Dead
again, wasnt that into this episode, i did like the kidnap bit and when they bust in "all guns blazing", which isnt from the comics btw, but then it was sort of ruined by being a bit... ridiculous in the end. the ending of the episode was too little too late, and i'm left unbothered about Amy dying as we have barely even seen her. oh and in the first episode i was really impressed with how the zombies looked, and now they are just getting sloppy with things, like Mryle's hand didn't even look remotely real. it really just makes me think that people should be reading the comics over watching this, and i'm sure sales will go up anyway, but seriously, i can hardly take this show seriously when i have read the brilliant written and pace comic book series which actually devlops characters and creates suspense creativly with better storylines.

The Naked and Famous 'Young Blood' • September 6th
EWW. that is all. it's 2010 and good new bands still sign to major labels, what is wrong with the world.

Nine Inch Nails - Pretty Hate Machine REMASTERED - Nov 22nd
just listened in FLAC. I couldnt say yet if it's an improvement or not, but it's definatly worth listening to it. The vocals are definatly improved imo, and 'Something I Can Never Have' sounds incredible. Also that version of 'Get Down Make Love' is f***ing amazing, makes it worth it. Definatly getting this on vinyl if I can (can't seem to find any UK retailers selling the vinyl  )

Bloc Party - I Still Remember/Cain Said to Abel Bloc Party - Helicopter/Skelton Bloc Party - She's Hearing Voices/The Marshals Are Dead I'm sure more might come to me so i might post more later.

Weezer - Hurley
but Raditude is a terrible album, I can't even stand to listen to it, Hurley is comparable to Blue or Pinkerton, or even Green or Maladroit but it's sure as hell is a lot better than the crap that is Raditude. oh and Viva La Vida is a bonus track btw.

Unknown Pleasures - Discussion Thread
i think if it comes to the point people miss out a comp due to the limit being filled they should get priority for the next contest. it would be nice if everyone just entered songs that they know arent very known and ones they want to reccomend to other people that they wouldnt have heard before, rather tha particulary trying to pick a song that would win the contest, because in the end this is about discovering music you wouldnt have heard otherwise, rather than trying to win a competition, in the end i coldnt really care what wins UP or where I've come as long as I have discovered some music I wouldnt have heard otherwise and have introduced a track/a band to people who wouldnt have heard them otherwise.

-I think 30 should be the limit, but obviously if it's just one more person it doesnt make that much difference. I found it hard to get through all the songs this time (just recently started full time work), where as i find it fairer to listen to them all at least twice, something I just didnt find the time for this time. -I'd actually be pro-harsh rules, such as the act not entering the top 40 singles and top 20 albums, I wouldnt like the idea of this being restricted to certain genres but it did slightly annoy me how many tracks this time were so similar. I think the fact acts like Crystal Castles and Foals can be entered is an issue. Possibly a rule where if there is a thread on said act that has more than x posts should be banned? -I had heard of Bell XI before, but not heard them, I had no idea of how much success they have had (but knew they have had enough to me to at least know the band name but I could have picked the name up from anywhere doesnt mean they have a large success. -The xmas new year period seems a good time to have the next one just because most people will have more free time at that period.
