AT THE DRIVE-IN REUNITE!!!!!!!!
you should know most the time headline shows>>>>festival slots. would be much better to see ATDI play for 1.5hours+ at their own show, in a venue packed with their own fans than a 40 minute set at a festival surrounded by alot of unappreciative people. Although really does depend how much you care to see ATDI. have fun at Leeds, some of my fondest memories and favourite performances have been at Reading Fest, sadly this year showed me that it's not the festival it used to be and they have just got ridiculous on prices now so it's unlikely I can go despite living a few miles away.

AT THE DRIVE-IN REUNITE!!!!!!!!
I'd much perfer a London headline date. a Reading fest appearance would be awesome but it's looking like for the first time after 6 consectutive years I won't be going to Reading this year.

AT THE DRIVE-IN REUNITE!!!!!!!!
yeah i've never been able to get into The Mars Volta at all, I once saw Sparta at a festival based on the logic that they'd be worth watching based on how awesome ATDI. they were not. But despite not being able to get into either of those band Relationship Of Command is one of my favourite albums ever, and is easily one of the strongest albums released in the last decade. really really hoping for UK dates.

The Buzzjack Rock, Punk And Metal Awards 2011
I don't know I'd say they are close to breaking into the mainstream, they've been having quite alot of air and press recently from the likes of Kerrang, I think one single last year was even getting played on The Box (which is primarily chart music). It's quite weird because I've been a fan since 2006 now all of a sudden they are getting fairly big. Might check out those other bands you have mentioned.

suprised by how much SB6 dominated.

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo
I don't know, I'd never been to that cinema before, you wouldn't be able to do it in the cinema I normally go to.

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo
I got in without being ID'd and I look about 14. that said I brought my ticket from a machine and then just walked in to the screen. without anyone checking my ticket. I could have basically gone in for free, stupid f***ing cinema. Award season is coming up though, wouldn't be surprised if there is a pretty decent dvdscr version up before the dvd release. it will be worth the wait anyway! and Pavel I know how you feel about cinema audiences, I enjoy the cinema but it does get riciulous these days I don't know what prices are like in Russia but cinema prices here have risen so much it's ridiculous, you pay for an overpriced ticket to then sit in the cinema with everyone being a dick, when you could just sit at home and watch a pirate version without having to pay their ridiculous price.

really, I saw them twice this year and it didn't affect me. That said maybe hometown shows have a bit of a different vibe.

the fact you don't deem this album good makes me lose faith in you chris.

Black Mirror
the 2nd episode was well brilliant, really did sum up society a great deal. If anything it was just a really really blunt version of todays society. Brooker really sent out a message with that one. I'm looking forward to tonights, it's written by Jesse Armstrong apparently, he is one of the main writers for Peep Show and The Thick of It, two of my favourite shows. Will be interesting to see his writing for a drama rather than a comedy.

you have a shit taste in music.

NME TV closing down.
I guess as a TV channel it's not so terrible as the whole institution. I don't see how losing a not that popular TV station is significant to the decline of alt music which isn't declining at all. Let's face it theres no point watching NME Tv when you could be listening to BBC 6music for alot better and varied alt music.

Men in Black 3 (25.05.2012)
I don't know what to think apart from the fact I need to rewatch the first. can barely remember the 2nd. probably not a good idea making a 3rd tbh.

RabbitFurCoat - Albums of the Year 2011
been meaning to listen to this, have heard the last album. Saw them supporting Weezer this year and they were pretty great.

Black Mirror
pretty f***ed up. but good. daring to put something like that on tv so kudos Charlie Brooker and Channel 4. Now the real question is, how do we get Dave f***ing a pig on tv?

'Hurt' • First EP
^this. in fact just to reiterate this is what Trent had to say about Johnny's version: "I pop the video in, and wow... Tears welling, silence, goose-bumps... Wow. [i felt like] I just lost my girlfriend, because that song isn't mine anymore... It really made me think about how powerful music is as a medium and art form. I wrote some words and music in my bedroom as a way of staying sane, about a bleak and desperate place I was in, totally isolated and alone. [somehow] that winds up reinterpreted by a music legend from a radically different era/genre and still retains sincerity and meaning — different, but every bit as pure."
