    I think it is important we remember the date 9/11. A day thousands of people died at the hands of the US Government for them to attempt to justify an invasion into Afghanistan and Iraq.

     

    Such a shame that due to the cover ups of the US Government and the controlling of Western media that so many people don't realise it wasn't terrorists. The American people need to pressure the Government for the obvious truths.

    Just seems funny how Ben changed his opinion of KoL after listening to OBTN when they went supernova.

     

    Seems he quite liked them before that. Not that he doesn't have every right to change his opinion at any time he likes.

     

    how do you know his opinion changed after listening to OBTN, how did you not know it was before then? doesnt change the fact that he has the right to share his current opinion.

    Did I say people couldn't voice their opinions on the band? Did I f***.

    Yes, obviously people are free to say what they think, but is a post like this realllly necessary?:

    Plus, the fact that Ben didn't post in here again until the song premiered and then started again with his posts about how $h!t the band are. Why say it more than once? Surely saying 'THIS BAND IS $h!t' or whatever doesn't need repeating? It's almost like he's TRYING to get a response from the people posting in the thread who obviously ARE the fans.

     

    As for your last sentence I'll ignore it as it's ridiculously OTT.

     

    does "Their last album was decent, if not as good as their previous two. I shall look forward to it...." really add anything to the forum? is it really nessacary? no offence to reabbitfurcoat who posted it, and not having a go for it being posted, but isn't that just as good input as ben gave? ben just listed his opinion on KOL, i dont see how it adds less that someone saying their last album was decent and they look forward to this. So what if he is trying to get a response from people who ARE the fans, it creates debate and makes this topic interesting and two sided rather than another generic bland buzzjack thread. When Ben posted again today he said:

    which looks like a pretty fair opinion to me and not completly repeating what he first said, yet you just gave the response i replied to which was along the likes of 'blah blah blah i dont care', where as you could of just given a counter arguement and and made this thread more interesting.

     

    as for your first line, i think i pretty much answered that but your general tone seems to be people shouldnt give their negative opinions.

     

    The mere fact you didn't PHRASE it like an opinion is enough really.

     

    but as you mentioned before, them being $h!t is something that is subjective, it was quite clearly an opinion, how else does one phrase 'KOL are $h!t', for something that is subjective theres no real point to put in the uneeded effort to put 'in my opinion' every time one posts on a internet forum just because some people arent clever enough to realise one person saying one band are $h!t is an opinion, if you disagree they are $h!t, good for you, well done for having your own opinion, feel free to share it like i shared my opinion, i don't claim that everything i say is the be all and end all, in the end it's down to personal opinion if they are $h!t or not, and its my personal opinion that i posted, should i be posting a disclaimer every time saying its an opinion and not words of fact everytime i share my opinion.

    Actually it's a thread where everyone trades opinions, don't expect it to be taken kindly when you state something so subjective as fact.

     

    yes exactly its a thread where everyone trades opinions, i said "KOL are $h!t", that is my opinion, not fact, i did not claim it was a fact, feel free to give me a counter arguement, but in the end this is an internet forum, a place to trade opinions, to have a go at people for giving negative opinions is just absurb.

    Blah blah blah. I like them. I listen to them. I don't really care what anyone thinks about them.

    Especially if those said people keep repeating the same thing over and over again. It just gets boring.

     

    And the best thing is, I'm sure you (Ben) used to actually like them!

    erm, so we arent allowed to post our own opinions if its negative? can you please tell me the point of a forum if its all "i like this song" and nothing else, you might find it boring, i find it even more boring people constantly posting they think kings of leon are a good band, without any reasoning to it, at least ben was giving his points.

     

    oh and KOL are $h!t, and I have thought so since before the Sex on Fire days, I have thought so since I first heard his voice, the point where i wanted to rip my ears off.

     

    although sorry for posting that, i forget how this is a "kings of leon love thread", not a thread where everyone can discuss.

    Well that was f***ing $h!t. Honestly what a way to ruin a f***ing masterpiece of a film. Shaun was basically a f***ing cameo part, the story was w***, and that horrific 'Smell' character appeared to much, replusive I almost puked everytime she was on screen.
