  2. seriously though how can they throw him out the band without telling him.
  3. i will bring Bloc Party their first number 1.
  4. tbh im gonna audition.
  5. i really thought they were going to comeback with the album of their lives, but instead, just what the f***, this is going to annoy everyone. R.I.P Bloc Party
  6. Bloc Party have confirmed that they will be recording without singer Kele Okereke and will be auditioning new singers. Last week, Okereke revealed to NME that he had spotted guitarist Russell Lissack, bassist Gordon Moakes and drummer Matt Tong outside a rehearsal studio in New York and not only was he not invited to take part in the sessions, he was unaware they were happening at all. Speaking to NME in an interview which you can read in the new issue of NME, which is on UK newsstands tomorrow (September 28) or available digitally, Russell Lissack confirmed that the band were making music again and would be looking for a new singer. He said: It's not really a secret because Kele's been pretty busy doing solo stuff and it looks like he's going to be doing that a bit longer. The other three of us wanted to meet up and make music. We were talking about just doing an instrumental thing, but now we might get a singer as well, to properly put some music out and play some shows. Lissack denied that there was bad blood between the band and Okereke, but confirmed they hadn't spoken for a couple of months. He added: "I haven't spoken to Kele for a couple of months, I guess since the festivals when I was doing stuff with Ash. But there's no bad vibes." http://www.nme.com/news/bloc-party/59460?u..._medium=twitter WHAT THE FLYING f***.
  7. this is just incredibly boring. lets face it, they really shouldn't have bothered. such a shame after Metallica redeemed themselves with Death Magnetic.

watched it yesterday. was good shit, very intrigued by the new bad guys. . in a life where Lost has ended, Dexter is my favourite currently running show <3. hope it's better than last season, i want season 4 standard again.

i thought this alright, i have faith it will get better as it goes on, being a big peep show fan i have high expectations anyway. seeing as i've never been a fresher at uni I can't relate to it, it didn't really have any laugh out loud momments like peep show or inbetweeners. some bits seemed pretty realistic, as in, i know people similar to those in the show.
  10. yeah i read that yesterday, wtf. seriously they have some explaining to do. especially as they said bloc party would probably return soon.

True but I will anyway, never know it may get better, the first and last episode of season 1 were very good (although the last i was a bit wtf, wasn't in the comics at all but I could forgive it as it did make a good season finale, messing with the characters though and making shit new ones I can't forgive) Really all I can say is enjoy the show but check out the comics because they are so much better.

i wonder how they'll ruin the carefully devloped characters and story arcs from the brilliant comic book series this season.
  13. not impressed. but thats only 35 seconds, i'll wait for the whole thing to make my judgement.
  14. i forgot this was about to come back. cheers for the reminder.
  15. S.C.U.M - Whitechapel 5/10 A more upbeat Horrors I guess, but no where near as good, and where The Horrors music sounds very natural and organic, this just sounds like they are trying very hard to be that sort of sound, in a they think they're cool way but really they just look like bellends. And the vocals are very bad. Brad - Waters Deep 6/10 This is alright, but only that, alright. Not really enough musical ideas in this to justify over 4 minutes, I was starting to get bored after 2. pretty bland sounding. Fujiya & Miyagi - Chichikov 7.5/10 This is a very interesting piece, great mix and use of instruments. I like the use of guitar in this, the drums sound very cool too. Bit different to your usual electronica track. Sóley - I'll Drown 7/10 not really my sort of thing, but nice enough track, very simple but lovely. Charlotte Gainsbourg - Terrible Angels 7/10 basically female pop but much well more thought and sophisticated, definatly a massive step up from the crap that tops the charts these days. Not my sort of thing again, but definatly not a bad track.

i thought this was great, almost as good as kevin and perry go large, so it has done well, some mega cringe momments though, within the first 5 minutes the whole cinema were facepalming, aswell as many momments where everyone in the cinema is laughing, which doesn't happen to often. you can tell it had a pretty massive budget too. i felt it sums the series up but i wouldn't be against a sequel (which seems pretty inevitable considering how much it has made). i'm glad . in fact just felt all the 4 main characters, expect maybe Neil really summed up their characters in this at the end, like they reached the end of their journey.

i think they should do this: http://i.imgur.com/I3FAJ.png
  18. well i've given it 5 listens now. really loving it, it really feels like it does sum up their careers, some bits early blink sounding, some bits enema sounding, some bits self titled sounding, some bits box car racer sounding, some bits AvA sounding, some bits +44 sounding, Tom does a good vocal job overall, definatly no need to worry there, Travis just f***ing smashes it. i think it's too early to compare with how good it is to their other albums, but it is certainly great. rate (subject to change): Ghost on the Dancefloor | 7.8 Natives | 9 Up All Night | 7 Afte Midnight | 7.8 Snake Charmer | 7.5 Hearts All Gone Interlude | 7 Heart's All Gone | 9 Wishing Well | 8 Kaleidoscope | 8 This Is Home | 8.5 MH 4.18.2011 | 8.8 Love is Dangerous | 7.3 Fighting the Gravity | 7.8 Even if She Falls | 7.8 this is of course by blink standards though, so a 7 on a blink album is like an 8 on most albums. this is wuite easily going to be album of the year for me. because i'm not at all biased when it comes to blink
  19. i'm on the bonus tracks now. so f***ING LOVE THE ALBUM. but thats only one listen and it hasn't sunk in. expect my full verdict in a few days maybe.
  20. i came a little when I heard 'Natives'
  21. I can neither confirm or deny.
  22. You'll never guess what album i'm listening to right now.
  23. looking forward to that cover of 'Goodbye Horses' although now I know Bloc Party will be back soon, I don't really need this EP.
  24. not too into it. glad i managed to catch Frank Carters last show as it's clearly not the same without him.
  25. based on the three songs so far i'd say the album is going to be pretty varied, which of course is an awesome thing, i'd be interested in some heavier tracks like in the style of Violence and Stockholm Syndrome. but yeah i'm enjoying After Midnight. so far Hearts All Gone > After Midnight > Up All Night I like Up All Night but why they decided to make it the first track when it's weaker I don't know, you can tell the style of UAN is right for a comeback track (it's quite big sounding and shows off all 3 members) but the response to the other tracks has been much more positive.
