http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-31790067 Ed Balls apparently STILL hasn't learnt that it makes no sense whatsoever for him to complain about Tory spending cuts, if in the inevitable follow-up questions he's not going to guarantee that Labour won't make the same cuts.

But there's going to be even less talk about policies without them, though. The debates are the only thing which stops the leaders from the endless cycle of managed publicity stunts.

Greens 30% Tories 30%(!!!) Labour 20% Lib Dems 20% Crime - Lib Dems Democracy - Labour Economy - Greens Education - Conservatives Environment - Labour Europe - Lib Dems Foreign Policy - Conservatives Health - Greens Immigration - Conservatives Welfare - Greens

If the debates don't happen then I honestly see turnout dropping below 50% this time. I somehow can't see an election campaign consisting solely of leaders doing photo-ops in supermarkets catching the public imagination.

Will they show her fall in this montage?

"Watch me stumble" :kink:

Well, colour me SHOCKED.

YES, steal the show!

Mark Ronson's accent is so perplexing.

 at Ant & Dec are getting nothing out of this lifeless audience despite their best efforts. They get more laughs even on I'm a Celebrity with a "crowd" consisting of about 10 producers.

Is there no Lifetime Achievement award this year?

I thought they only did that as a tradition from when Big Brother started when it actually was before the watershed

Lol, aren't we after the watershed anyway?

Why do all you guys hate Sam Smith?!

Well, I managed 24 years without hearing Kim Kardashian speak...

Now THAT's a deserved award for Paloma! I'd completely forgotten Lily Allen's comeback had even occurred.

Ellie Goulding giving Rita Ora the evil eye :kink:

Is there any point in even hoping there's any chance of Sam Smith or Paolo Nutini taking this over Ed Sheeran?

I will never understand how Rita Ora has got so far!

Good grief at these vocals...

If Labour's going to do anything on tuition fees, instead of cutting the existing fees and essentially just giving high-earners a tax cut (I agree with Tyron on something :drama: ), I'd rather they started offering loans to people doing masters degrees and further qualifications.

Labour's poll lead appears to have ticked up slightly after a couple of weeks where Miliband has dared to say some vaguely "left-wing" things and criticised smug, entitled businessmen and super-rich tax-dodgers. No doubt he'll soon lose his nerve and be back to prattling about being "pro-business" and posturing about how "tough" he'll be in cutting spending within a couple of weeks, though.

Obviously it's not the intention, but the door is ALWAYS going to be open to abuses like this as long as any private involvement is allowed in the NHS.

NHS doctors taking bribes from private healthcare firms and hospitals

Tax dodgers are far bigger scroungers than any benefit claimants. No matter how talented or hard these millionaires have worked, they would never have got anywhere were it not for the education system that gave them skills, the health system that kept them healthy enough to use those skills, the police that protected them, etcetc. [insert Elizabeth Warren video here]
