7 of the 10 we voted for in Inner Massivia made the final from SF2. Our 1st, 5th and 10th place songs failed to make it.

Hate to break it to you but Adlington only broke the 800m world record which was a fine achievement but very much overdue given it had stood for 19 years. The "fast" pool and swimsuits have helped obliterated the previous landmarks and the 800m was the latest waiting to be plucked from the tree. I'd pass over the track cyclists and the swimmers as it is much easier to win multiple events in these sports. The strength is depth in each individual event isn't that high. My pick would be Nicole Cooke the road cyclist. Road cycling is by far and away the pinnacle of the sport and because of the huge fields, team tactics and distances they have to travell is one of the hardest medals to win. Not only did Cooke win the Olympics in a monsoon, riding through floods up at the Great Wall Of China but 6 weeks later went to the World Championships in Italy and won the title there as well in what many consider to be one of the finest races in many years. By winning in Varese Cooke became the first cyclist in history, male or female, to complete the Olympic/World double in the same year. In fact only once before has a cyclist won the Olympic gold and then medalled at the worlds. It's just the pinnacle of her career which has seen her win the world cup twice, been ranked world #1, won the Tours of France, Italy and Germany, one day stage races galore etc a truly expectional athlete.

Well for instance in the opposite semi-final Deandria has Massive Attack - Unfinished Symathy. As you can tell from the name of my country and capital city I'm a big fan of MA but I'd never vote for the track in BJSC as it regularly appears in the top 20 of all-time greatest singles in the UK. I'd also never vote for a superstar artist's new single or putative future single from a new album.

I think it's very weak as a song. Goes nowhere.

In contrast Inner Massivia has given all songs we already know in SF2 an automatic 0 points. Laziness has been banned by decree since the 1989 revolution.

Got to say surprised at some of the odds in SF2 - feel that a few of the favourites are very derivative. The middle batch of songs in the odds are much stronger.

Inner Massivia New Music Melody Express Inner Massivia have just voted in the BJSC for the very first time after holding a listening party of discerning BJSC fans in the exclusive Chart Club which is tucked away above the Old Bristolian Microbrewery in Attacktonia's Alt Markt. The jury were surprised at the overall quality of Semi-Final 2 after hearing some previous negativity from other competing countries. The Massivian jurors had no problem finding quality tracks among the entrants and voted with as much enthusiasm as the free drinks allowed. After the voting was complete special star guest juror Sir Tom Jones took to the stage of the club to perform a selection of his greatest hits to much acclaim. We now eagerly await the results.
