  1. Inner Massivia Herald Tribune The people of the city of Attacktonia were overwhelmed today by a promotional performance by Red Blooded Women. A storming set sent the crowd into a wild frenzy and has been compared to the incredible scenes back in 1984 when the Bootleg Beatles arrived to play the first concert after the ban on popular music was lifted. Our resident rock critic, Johnny Van Brokendown had this to say: "Red Blooded Women have left many red blooded men in Attacktonia tonight with a sexually charged performance of pop grandeur. And the women of the city enjoyed it too - some were even seen throwing their bras on stage. If this is the standard of entry Ashton usually present to the BJSC the Government of Inner Massivia may have to rethink their plans for future entries and up their game." In Other News In a snap poll following the concert Ashton was voted favourite country in Quilvoria. =============================== Inner Massivia New Musical Melody Express The Ministry of Popular Music Culture issued a press statement today informing the people of Inner Massivia on the progress of the Some Kind Of Fool promotional tour for BJSC XII. 4. Inner Massivia's "Some Kind Of Fool Tour" hits Herzebania On the Seventh day of their "Some Kind Of Fool" tour, rather than resting, Inner Massivia arrived in fellow Quilvorian country Herzebania for a concert in the English speaking colony of Woodham. First up on the day was our entry into this month's XIIth contest, Leona Lewis with her collaboration with MC Anon, Fool: c5-Pf3SS10E Leona bows to the crowd. As she walks off she announces: "Next up is one of my favourite female artists, Sarah McLachlan": 7CbAjj80NIM An angel indeed. Following Sarah is an up-and-coming artist Melanie Fiona with her debut single: rTQXWxSrCx8 We'll be hearing much more of Melanie in future. Next up is another of Leona's favourite artists India Arie: 0Zbn7Khv8zM Completely stunning. Leona returns for the last song of the evening: 0wfblWJ1qhk A great reception for Leona and all her guest artists. Inner Massivia would like to pass on their thanks to the people of Herzebania for their warm welcome and generous hospitality. We hope they enjoyed the concert and we wish them in BJSC XII.
  5. It was called Mrs Glass initially but I think someone in the USA ballsed up when submitting it to ASCAP and it's been stuck that way since.
  6. Always preferred Misses Glass to Forgive Me. Populaity bars haven't been updated for a bit - wonder what Leona's lead is like now.
  7. Sunday's a bigger selling day than Monday so think you've overestimated. Think it's clear she'll smash the digital only record though and could hit 100k this week.

Peaked at #5 which Pocketful Of Sunshine recently matched.
  9. Quilvoria is getting stronger by the day. Welcome Skall!
  10. Good to see another new country so we're not the only novices in BJSC XII. :yahoo:
  11. Inner Massivia's "Some Kind Of Fool Tour" hits Lorikeet On the sixth day of their "Some Kind Of Fool" tour, Inner Massivia arrived in Pangolin, the capital city of Lorikeet. This is a special stop for Inner Massivia as we share two things with Lorikeet - a border and the Welsh language! To celebrate this fact we have organised a group of performers all of Welsh origin. First up on the day was our entry into this month's XIIth contest, Leona Lewis with her collaboration with MC Anon, Fool. Leona of course is half-Welsh herself and has many relatives in the beautiful country: c5-Pf3SS10E Leona bows to the crowd and says "Diolch yn fawr iawn" as the applause rings out. As she walks off she announces: "Next up is one of my favourite bands with an all-time classic" as a distinctive bassline echoes across the arena: Yc1_5w4mdDA A great performance by the Manics! Next up Catatonia have reformed for a one-off appearance: _2cgRvmo3yg Great to see Cerys and the boys together again. And the bands keep coming, it's the Stereophonics: TBzVbt8qhMQ Dakota was superb. A change of pace as Duffy takes the stage: w4jPXp7LxyI Duffy makes way for the Lostprophets: tZZUp317ZVU And then a real treat, the legendary John Cale: ckbdLVX736U Hallelujah indeed. Leona returns for the last song of the evening: 0wfblWJ1qhk A great reception for Leona and all her guest artists. Inner Massivia would like to pass on their thanks to the people of Lorikeet for their wonderfully warm welcome and generous hospitality. We hope they enjoyed the concert and we wish them in BJSC XII.
  12. It's overwhelmingly physical still - think it's very rare for an album to sell 10% of its weekly total digitally.
  13. She is but it's pretty meaningless as physical album sales vastly outweigh digital album sales and Take That will sell 4 million this week in the shops (give or take a copy).
  14. As a comparison, the popularity bars on Tuesday morning after the release of Bleeding Love and Rule The World last year. You may notice a surprisingly familiar top 3: http://benboy.uw.hu/kep/itunesleona.jpg
  15. To clear up some confusion - A Moment Like This was available as a download from the X-Factor's own website straight after the end of the final, so before midnight. However you weren't sent the track, only a pin number allowing you to download it after midnight from 7Digital to make all sales eligible for the next week's chart. In effect a pre-order. On Xtra Factor after the final it was claimed that 20,000 people had "downloaded" it in the first 5 minutes with a later figure of 50,000 in 30 minutes being given at the press conference straight after Xtra Factor (by Cowell I think). The song wasn't even available on iTunes until late Sunday/early Monday.
  16. Being our first ever entry I'm touring for the ongoing publicity for future contests and the establishment of good links with other countries. Oh and to publicise our song!
  17. Inner Massivia would like to reserve an open air venue for midday on December 6th. The esteemed country of Kopecka was already penned into the putative schedule on this date for the Miskantha leg of the Some Kind Of Fool Tour.
  18. People who live in glasshouses ;) I think Will is incredibly talented. I think what he's done with his career should be an inspiration to all who find themselves coming through the same route. There's just no need to rewrite history in order to slate another artist is there? The two best winners we've seen have had to go down different routes following their first release due to the nature of their record contracts - Will could concentrate on the UK and get the early tours in, Leona after the obligatory X-Factor tour has had to fly halfway around the world recording and promoting as she's signed to J Records. I wouldn't be surprised if she's nearing 100 promotional appearances this year where she's sung live - she did sets at three concerts in Europe this week and a performance at an awards show after doing the X-Factor and then three live shows in the States. She's back over to the States performing at Madison Square Garden in a couple of weeks after recently doing live 6 song sets in NY and LA. The plan from the start has always been to tour properly after she releases her second album in 2009. That will be a coordinated worldwide release rather than this staggered over 6 months effort she's had to work with. ================================ Anyway back to iTunes ....... 30. Hallelujah - Jeff Buckley Got to say the BBC's pre-emptive strike with this is superb. They've been using it on an excellent trailer for the iPlayer for a few days now and could be a genius move to spike the X-Factor.
  19. I remember the days of Evergreen, Long and Winding Road and Light My Fire. Westlife, Beatles and Doors covers. Now that was hype ;)

Inner Massivia's "Some Kind Of Fool Tour" hits Kellyana Kingdom On the sixth day of their "Some Kind Of Fool" tour, Inner Massivia arrived in Kellyana Kingdom, barely a stone's throw from home. First up on the day was our entry into this month's XIIth contest, Leona Lewis with her collaboration with MC Anon, Fool: c5-Pf3SS10E Leona bows to the crowd. As she walks off she announces: "Next up is one of my favourite bands" as a distinctive bassline echoes across the arena: 9WaUCTG4wMg A great performance by the Scots as they prepare to release new material in 2009! Next up after performing alongside her in Germany, Leona has invited over Pink: GXbsrjcS6ao She always delivers! Next up is the finest band to come out of Wales in years: XD73L-e31_c Brilliant from Los Campesinos! Leona returns for the last song of the evening: 0wfblWJ1qhk A great reception for Leona and all her guest artists. Inner Massivia would like to pass on their thanks to the people of Kellyana Kingdom for their warm welcome and generous hospitality. We hope they enjoyed the concert and we wish them in BJSC XII.
  21. What an utterly bizarre rant. All major single releases go on iTunes on Sunday. Some even go on Friday or Saturday now to build up some momentum before the sales week starts. Don't you remember the fuss the other week when Britney, Beyonce and Christina all got added on Sunday and Sony were accused of blundering as they forgot to add Leona until the Monday? Take That got added Sunday last week. Everyone adds on a Sunday.
  22. Inner Massivia's "Some Kind Of Fool Tour" hits M.K.L On the fifth day of their "Some Kind Of Fool" tour, Inner Massivia were delighted to eventually touch down in M.K.L. Delayed by two hours after fog suddenly descended on the airport in Botanikka, the venue of the previous concert, there were thoughts that the promotional gig might have to be postponed. However the fog lifted just in time, and though a bit of a rush to get everything ready, the concert went ahead to the delight of all concerned. First up on the evening was our entry into this month's XIIth contest, Leona Lewis with her collaboration with MC Anon, Fool: c5-Pf3SS10E Leona bows to the crowd. As she walks off she announces: "Next up is one of my personal favourites, Jojo!": vG9czn2LCPI She is such a good performer! Next up Leona has invited over another American artist Hilary Duff: zKdcGheLneU Looking fierce in red! Finally making it a triumvirate of American ladies, it's Kat DeLuna! sq1W3vTfm5A Shake it baby! Leona returns for the last song of the evening: 0wfblWJ1qhk A great reception for Leona and all her guest artists. Inner Massivia would like to pass on their thanks to the people of M.K.L for their patience with the weather delays and their understated efficiency when we eventually arrived. It was such a warm welcome and we would have been gutted to miss it. We hope they enjoyed the concert and we wish them in BJSC XII.

  25. Inner Massivia Herald Breaking News The people of Attacktonia had a wonderful surprise today when popular Korean girlband The Wondergirls, who were exercising their shopping muscles in the city whilst on vacation, put on an impromptu concert in the Old Market Square. Word soon spread and fans flocked to see them pump out their catchy hit Nobody, which is FNTNickdonia's entry into the forthcoming BJSC XII. Even the chief of police was seen bopping away in the background to the girls' fun and upbeat song. ====================== Some Kind Of Fool Tour Hits Botanikka Inner Massivia's Some Find Of Fool Tour hit Botanikka for an early afternoon gig in the capital city. The crowd was in an incredibly excited state as rumour had spread from the airport that a circus tent and elephant had been unloaded from the tour plane. It couldn't be Britney, could it? They were soon to find out and they wouldn't be disappointed! After the gig the President of Inner Massivia, Professor Sir Quintas de Cancellara, passed on his thanks to the Government of Botanikka for being such generous hosts and wished them well in BJSC XII.
