Not it wasn't included. I think it all depends on how they decide to promote it - a killer performance on X-Factor would create momentum but she may only do Forgive Me tomorrow which would be a missed opportunity. The only other performance of it confirmed is Divas II which has already been recorded and is shown next weekend I think.

On Monday Leona Lewis will release the deluxe edition of Spirit which contains a studio version of her cover of Snow Patrol's "Run", which she famously covered on Radio 1's Live Lounge. I think this is one of the weakest singles they've released.

Yep, a lot of people put together Christmas compilations for events, parties, shops etc this time of year so which is why I think we'll see this pattern every year. I don't think it's about individuals forgetting they bought the track last year as some have said ;)

Record companies have their heads stuck in the sand over stuff like this. Leona's Forgive Me has been available for 7 months - I'm surprised there's any fan who hasn't already played it to death.

It also shows how high single sales were at the time - market has changed so markedly it's really hard to compare individual singles in the 2000s.

He puts all 14 downloads on his iPod and then hits shuffle - that way he's more likely to hear the track. Makes sense to me.

She should also now see some benefit from the "top 10 boost" which is effectively a free advert on the front page of iTunes.

Arse-covering is always a wise option :) Makes it very hard to do these sort of things when download dates get shifted around at a moment's notice, or aren't revealed at all.

Maybe you missed it oustselling Girls Aloud digitally in it's first week in Ireland with no promotion or advertising? All that despite GA having the X-Factor performance. And that's with a song most fans have had for the last 6 months.
