Inner Massivia has voted in SF2. Decent quality overall I thought - nice to see not too many recent songs and a few I'd forgotten about. Six songs scored at least 7/10 and six songs less than 5/10, leaving the other six in the "I'll give it points if I have to" range.

Some cracking songs not touched yet by the likes of The Pretenders, Blondie, Aretha Franklin, Queen, Eurythmics, Oasis, The Who, Beatles, David Bowie, Rolling Stones, Elton John, Chris Isaak, Travis ....

I'm still being treated by my Doctor for shock from not qualifying! I like the general style so such a Rontvian entry would always gain favour with Inner Massivia.

Similar in style to Melanie Fiona who I sent last month and flopped without trace in the semi-finals.

Aled - definitely worth exploring some of the older songs which will be added. Think it's too easy just to go with what you know ;) I've found some brilliant #10s today - might have to re-reserve my artists.

How are people searching chartstats? I've been going via: http://www.chartstats.com/browse.php?t=a and then just looking at the lists of songs for artists I like or who are well known. Any other methods?

May I suggest not having a reservation thread and making it a straight confirmation thread - reduces the time as it's a spin off (if it goes ahead).

The songs which get 0/10 from Inner Massivia get it for cheapness, nothing to do with the quality of the song itself. Even one of the worst songs in the history of the world got 2/10 from us. This month we had to give three 0s for: i) a Girls Aloud song ii) an Alesha song already in the charts and being performed as the next single on big shows iii) a cover of an all-time classic which shouldn't be touched Others may disagree with our definition of cheapness ;) I was sort of determined not to like certain songs because of the hype, but quality will out at the end of the day ... It was my favourite song from SF1 on the listen through, and nothing from SF2 deserved to overtake it.
