Yep, I'm becoming resigned to Soulja Boy beating Sugababes. Everyone seems to have Shaun the Sheep in the frame but will it really sell that well? Was just thinking top twenty.

And what about the Strictly Come Dancing song that was rumoured last week? Any news on a release date for that ManicKangaroo, please?

Malcolm Middleton is download only isn't it? Surely none of the D/L only songs like the old Christmas ones can get top 5?
  4. Ah, I didn't know that, thanks.
  5. Yes, agree with those but someone said Shaun the Sheep might come with a poster thereby making it ineligible. Not sure if this was confirmed though.
  6. Really? Wonder what would make Cowell do that??
  7. Does anyone know the release date of the Strictly Come Dancing song 'Let's go Dancing!'? According to the Sunday Mirror, Alesha will probbly sing it and they're planning to take on Simon Cowell for Xmas number one.
  8. Looks like Soulja Boy is going to challenge the Sugababes. Not keen myself and not very Christmassy but according to today's Daily Star the nation is going crazy for the Crank That dance!
  9. Quite like Mutya's song and with Wino on board I guess it could do well. Better than the Sugas? Will be an interesting battle... Also see Andy Williams is releasing 'It's the most wonderful time of the year' off the M&S ad on Dec 10.
  10. In light of Headline's predicted poor performance, The Sugababes must be looking good for Chrissy number two!!
  11. Agree. Her X Factor appearance must significantly have boosted sales of Bleeding Love. Can she really beat the Spice Girls for number one album on the 18th when they'll be everywhere, especially with Children In Need on 16th?
  12. Where do you think the Pogues will get to in the Christmas chart? Am I right in thinking 'Fairytale In New York' it just missed out on the top 5 last year? Also Enrique and Scouting For Girls release on Dec 17. I hope Amy Winehouse (Love Is A Losing Game) or Sugababes (Change) can get the number two, rather than Spice Girls!
  13. Shane releases on 19th November, I think, same as Spice Girls. Wonder how the X Factor effect will boost his sales?
  14. I'd love Amy to be number two! Best song on the album IMO. Not going to happen though is it? Will settle for Sugababes.
  15. Maybe the Spice Girls will be number one until Christmas week then. I'm disappointed in Headlines. But who will be able to budge them for the top between 11th November and December 17th?
