iTunes Chart: September 2010 (I)
To be fair Alex's new single is really catchy, but in a "Where have I heard this before?!" sort of way. The first time I heard it I thought it would do well. Much better than Bad Boys anyway. Always hated that song.

iTunes Chart: September 2010 (I)
It the actual charts it did, but I don't think it did on Itunes?

iTunes Chart: September 2010 (I)
Good start for McFly, has beaten the peak of Lies... hasn't it? I remember Lies getting to #14. Might have gone higher...

Alexandra Burke - Start Without You
Everytime I hear this song I think of the Cheeky Girls cover of Holi-Holiday!

The **Irish** iTunes Chart [NOV-OCT 2010]
McFly don't seem bothered about the Irish chart at all. They've been telling their fans the song is ready for download at midnight tonight. So some Irish fans may be confused and waiting, but even so I'm not suprised that its flopping. No signing or promotion over there either. Its doubtful that it will chart the same way in the UK.

The **Irish** iTunes Chart [NOV-OCT 2010]
McFly never really chart high in the Irish charts, do they?

iTunes Chart: September 2010 (I)
McFly seem to be promoting Townsend-Records as the place to buy their singles so I think that is wear the physical copies are going to sell most with fans. There is some sort of special bundle on there. A special price. There's none of those silly downloads through your phone they used to do though so Itunes is the place they're promoting for downloads.

iTunes Chart: September 2010 (I)
McFly are starting a lot of promotion from Friday. Fri 3 September - GMTV (last ever!) (ITV1) 6am- 9.25am Sat 4 September - The National Lottery's Big Night (BBC1) - 7.40pm Sun 5 September - Big Brother's Little Brother (C4) - 11.45am Thurs 9 September - This Morning (ITV1) - 10.30am - 12.30pm Fri 10 September - Live from Studio Five (C5) - 6.25pm - 7pm Sat 11 September - 5.19 Show (BBC Switch on BBC2) - 1.15pm Wed 15 September - The Michael Ball Show (ITV1) - 3pm Should help shift a few more copies. I've got my fingers crossed for them. Lies sold better than usual I seem to remember back in 2008 on the Itunes chart, getting to number 14 as a peak I believe which was good for them at the time. I think this could easily chart higher. Very much doubting it'll be number 1 on the Itunes chart though. That would be a massive shock.

BBC planning new Music show for 2011
Anyone remember the Top Gear of the Pops they did one year? Was quite funny, could do with a presenter unplugging the speakers for some performances every once in a short while.

McFly - Party Girl
On the subject of the second week, I think its got a better chance than usual to stay up quite high. I'm a fan of theirs, but I'm actually doubting this track will get to number 1 with the high sales that have achieved that place recently. However, I think, despite the fact it has been A listed on Radio 1, a lot of non-fans have failed to really hear it enough yet to decide if it appeals to them. Personally, I've never seen the music video on the music channels yet as they always seem to have those chart shows on like the UK top 40 etc. If the song charts well more people will hear it and I think this song more than any of McFly's before has the ability to appeal to a wider audience. Fingers crossed for them that it'll stay top 10 for at least a couple of weeks after it charts. Just one extra week top 10 would be brilliant for them.

Mcfly 'Party Girl' Out NOW! (PLUS BANNED VIDEO)
It's not too explicit for TV. There are far worse music videos played all day every day.

McFly's New Album/ Here Comes the Storm 2 NEW SONGS ADDED
I just listened to Here Comes the Storm again, but this time wearing earphones rather than with my silly laptop speakers, and it sounded a lot better as could hear the bass and stuff more. Its really grown on me.

McFly's New Album/ Here Comes the Storm 2 NEW SONGS ADDED
Just added another song. I'm sure the band wont be happy at all that 3 (or maybe 4!) songs have already leaked.

McFly's New Album/ Here Comes the Storm 2 NEW SONGS ADDED
I keep forgetting about the Heart Never ies because it was on the greatest hits album. Haven't listened to that song for ages. It had a nice video too.

Added a new song to the first post!

McFly's New Album/ Here Comes the Storm 2 NEW SONGS ADDED
I think 4 of the best songs were on the proper album rather than the free one - Lies, Down Goes Another One, Only the Strong Survive and The End.

Daisy Dares You // 'Rosie'
Unlucky 13 :( But I suppose its nowhere near as bad as it could have charted. Tbh, I can't see this even making it to 13.

McFly's New Album/ Here Comes the Storm 2 NEW SONGS ADDED
It seems I wasn't the only one then! Once I got over the excitement of there being new tracks I realised how disappointed I was and I honestly haven't listened to Radio:ACTIVE for over a year.

McFly's New Album/ Here Comes the Storm 2 NEW SONGS ADDED
This track also leaked recently: bObKUSIUlSs Not sure if its meant to be on the album or not, might just be song kind of bonus track. Its a cute little song. This also leaked: 9Pwz4YA4FcY But apparently its nothing but a scrapped demo.

Daisy Dares You // 'Rosie'
Was it really a flop? I've been away from this forum for a while so I've missed quite a bit. If it was, it really was undesreved. I have to be honest though, not feeling this song. Her voice sounds even odder in it and stuff. It gets better towards the end though.

McFly's New Album/ Here Comes the Storm 2 NEW SONGS ADDED
Yeah, I especially liked Lies a couple of years ago, but like I said before I wasn't a massive fan of their last album. I actually think the way it was produced was the biggest problem. I'm glad they're using different producers this time.

McFly's New Album/ Here Comes the Storm 2 NEW SONGS ADDED
Yeah, its honestly nice to know that they're trying something different. I don't think Radio:ACTIVE quite worked. Apparently they're at least partly back with Universal too. They actually scrapped an album too, I remember hearing they started recording in Australia early last year but they gave up on it. EDIT: Also, I don't think the song above is one of the Taio Cruz ones, I think it was produced by Dallas.
