McFly's New Album/ Here Comes the Storm 2 NEW SONGS ADDED
Haha, I thought I'd best add I meant he's producing and collaborating with the writing for some of the songs. Not singing, as far as I know.

McFly's New Album/ Here Comes the Storm 2 NEW SONGS ADDED
So, McFly are due to release a new single quite soon it seems with the album almost completed. As some of you might already know they've been working with Taio Cruz and Dallas Austen for this album. It seems it will be something a little different for them. Anyway, I did a little search and so I don't think this has been posted. I was just searching youtube and found this leaked track, so I was wondering what people think of it. Please remember its not finished, one of the members themselves comfirmed this on twitter. I think its quite easy to hear that its unfinished too. SCOB85Pggl8 Personally, I think it will sound really good when its finished but its not very original or spectacular. I do think it will become a single. It is very different from anything on their last album, Radio:ACTIVE. I do think this is a good step. EDIT: Another song from the album has leaked! IdpmrdF6RB4 I love this one! EDIT2: ANOTHER song has leaked. The band will not be happy. Not sure if I like this one, its sounds very boybandy but it might not be finished. No Danny singing again, too! 4TkfV2cZZ-8

Top 200 Best Sellers Of The Decade
Is the slightly annoying and over-played newish DFS advert not affecting McFly's All About You sales at all? I swear before Michael Jackson died I kept hearing the song getting played on Real radio too.

It Flopped But It Shouldnt 2008
I love No Can Do and I'm not someone who really likes the Sugababes. Their songs have to usually really grow on me, but No Can Do I liked straight away.

It Flopped But It Shouldnt 2008
I think the Feeling flopped far too much this year, or seem to remember so. Their songs were actually really good, in my opinion. I bought their new album in the Woolworths sale the other day so I'll give it a listen today, but I really did like their singles.

It Flopped But It Shouldnt 2008
Didn't really 'flop', charting at 4 just a few copies behind 3 at its peak, but it would have been nice for Lies by McFly to stick around a bit longer. It's one of their best singles and compared, they've had some poor releases stick around far longer.

TOTP
The one thing that stopped me from being able to watch it was the fact it was on the same time as the soaps. I don't watch Corrie etc. anymore, but out of a family its likely someone will want to. I'm sure it was on the same time as Coronation Street. So yeah, that's not on Sundays anymore so a Sunday slot could do ok, surely? But I don't know much about TV at the moment, lol. I used to watch it all the time when someone interesting was on.

The Buzzjack Christmas Chart Thread
There was no need for her to be in shock. So, will we still hear from her in a couple of years? Time will tell, but the odds are against her.

The Buzzjack Christmas Chart Thread
Jeffs version <3 Having said Peter Kay is the true number 1, really this is. Amazing how the campaign has got this so high. I dislike the X Factor version of Hallejulah for the same reasons I dislike Leona's Run.

The Buzzjack Christmas Chart Thread
Don't like this James Morrison song but then again I don't like Nelly Furtado any more, not since her comeback. Usually love James Morrison songs though. Not very excited for this chart, probably the least exciting of the year seeing as we all know that the X Factors going to top the charts. Just hoping Leona has dropped.

Predict Potential No1’s In 2009.
I agree with Lady Gaga, Lily Allen and Comic Relief! I think IF (which I found doubtful) McFly release the fan favourite of their album, Radio:ACTIVE, Down Goes Another One it has a chance as it wasn't on the free album and the Deluxe edition hasn't sold too much. Anything else though wont be, most probably. Although I've heard they're thinking of releasing POV which should do good. They do have equally good songs, in my opinion, and equally strong songs on the album but having been on the free album it lowers the chances. They would have to pick an easier week too. Plus there's the fact only 1 release after an album has come out has gone to number 1 by them, with Transylvania.

2008's flops
While I think it's kinda unfortunately over for say The Feeling and Anastacia, but McFly and the Sugababes should be OK in my opinion. Well, I'm not too sure about the Sugababes because I'm not a huge fan, in fact I haven't bought a single song/ album of theirs, but it wasn't long ago that they were doing really well and Girls seems to be everywhere. I doubt they'll just give up too, without a fight. With McFly, although their singles have flopped, in my opinion, for McFly, Lies did good. The others were on the free album but Lies was only on the deluxe. I know that compared to a lot of bands out there, it isn't good at all but Lies did good on Itunes which was a change for McFly and it wasn't even the strongest song on the album (while OFTR & Do Ya were right down the bottom of the list!). I just think that they'll slowly get it right, but wont be giving up at all while being on their own label and selling out gigs alright. It's doubtful that they'll ever do as well as in 2004 again though. I'm undecided on the future of Same Difference but I'm sure Christina Aguilera will pop up again at some point soon. One flop isn't going to stop a big act like her, nor will it stop Madonna, Kylie and the lot. Oasis will obviously be here to stay for a long while yet too. Boyzone? hmmm. It's been an interesting year in music to be honest, a lot of interesting flops and hits.

2008's flops
I'm really behind on album buying this year. Still need to buy Duffy, Adele, The Saturdays and The Feeling. Kings of Leon too, actually. Gosh, I better get a lot of money for Christmas rather than rubbish I don't want, lol. I'm sure I'll enjoy the Feelings album anyway, I loved their first and have enjoyed all the singles from the new one.

2008's flops
I was going to say McFly, with Do Ya charting at 18, but then again it's hard to measure their success this year with their album having been given away in the Mail on Sunday to 2.3 million people on the Sunday of which their first single One For The Radio charted. It must have affected a lot of things. We'll just have to see how good/ badly they do next year. That's if they release a new album next year, which I'm finding doubtful. I think other stuff went OK for them though, like the tour sales.

Ban XF sales from the Xmas chart
I don't think it's possible to say anything about them yet, they might have good voices but all they've done is covers so far. Someone could have the best voice in the world and release the worst song of the whole chart history. Which is one of the reasons I find competitions like this so over-rated. I've personally only liked one Leona Lewis song myself. I just find the X Factor under-rates song writing, instrument playing singers or bands out there due to the way it is. Even with this it under-rates already famous bands due to the types of artists that are chosen to sing on the show. I sort of agree that it should be banned, but sort of don't. People are buying this stuff. Perhaps it should be limited a little bit in the way it's promoted and stuff. I've heard, for example, that the physical X Factor releases are available in more places than other singles out at the same time nowadays, which is obviously because they know it'll sell but still doesn't sound completely fair. Though I know it's not only X Factor singles, there are a few others such as Take That.

Bands to Spilt
McFly wont split, or at least it is doubtful. If they do go on to do poorly, which we'll only find out with the second album on their own as the Mail On Sunday deal did a lot to sales, they'll still keep trying with them being on their own record label now. I doubt the Sugababes splitting either, with them taking a break and stuff. For some reason I feel like next year, even though Girls Aloud are doing better than they have in previous years by miles, something might cause them to split. But having said that, those 3 have been on the list for about 5 years now and still haven't budged!

Jeff Buckley for christmas number one.
It was on an iplayer advert on the BBC when it started popping up on Itunes, but this only helped.

Predict: Geraldine McQueen - Once Upon A Christmas Song
I thought the Christmas song was the original idea and that the other one was a bit of a test? Anymore after this will be silly, unless he gets really close to beating the X Factor and tries again next year.

Predict: Geraldine McQueen - Once Upon A Christmas Song
Lol, I love the video. Just caught it on youtube because I forgot about it's premiere on Channel 4!

He filmed the video in Manchester. He waved at my brothers Girlfriend while on some parade thing I think, haha.

Predict: Geraldine McQueen - Once Upon A Christmas Song
Haha, it's brilliant! Deserves to beat the X Factor so much, but anything does! It better beat Leona at least! Think there's either a repeat or a new version of that Britain's Got The Pop Factor on tonight before the video premiere. I was looking at channel 4's listings for something and swore I read it.
