  1. I think CIN were looking for a safe choice. With many artists, its either a hit or miss with their songs. With McFly, they're near enough guaranteed top 10.
  2. I've heard Issues off the album and love it. Didn't like Work much though.
  3. I wouldn't say flops. THNL went from 3-10 etc. and Lies was top 25 for 4 weeks. Not bad compared to some releases.
  4. As much as I am happy about the single being for Children In Need etc, I still think its a bit of a missed opportunity to release something a little more "This is McFly?!" if you get what I mean, something like Down Goes Another one. But I suppose there is more time and I don't have a clue what Stay With Me sounds like yet.
  5. They've already done Comic Relief and Sport Relief, now it's time for Children In Need. http://www.play.com/Music/CD/4-/7956446/Do...Me/Product.html http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=BfIREEMxVjM Do Ya. Stay With Me is still yet to be heard, where as Do Ya was on both the Mail on Sunday and deluxe edition album releases. How do you think it will do, what do you think of it? Do Ya is certainly no All About You in my opinion and a poor release from Radio:ACTIVE, however I suppose a good choice for Children In Need. It should do very well.
  6. According to play.com ... http://www.play.com/Music/CD/4-/7956446/Do...Me/Product.html McFly's new songs are Do Ya/Stay With Me :) Also, it's the official Children In Need single.

Aye? Where's this Hero song suddenly popped up from? I had Mariah's version in my head the other day, no doubt it has been ruined. Seriously though, even if it is for charity, isn't one number 1 a year for the X Factor enough? Couldn't they have just made that the charity single?
  8. Has it been announced what the Children In Need single will be yet? McFly have announced that they will be opening the show and have just announced that a single will be out on the 24th, so it could be that, if not?

I've heard the new Girls Aloud song quite a lot, but only by playing it on youtube etc, myself, but I have to say that it has to be their least memorable song to me. I can't even think how it goes right now. I could think of the sound of any other single by them right now. Usually by now I know them pretty much completely and can't get them out of my head.
  10. Wow, I love it. Top 3!
  11. I'd love to see Peter Kay beat that X Factor winner. Can't wait for the show. I love Peter Kay's shows like Phoenix Nights and Max & Paddy's Road To Nowhere plus his liver shows so hopefully it should be excellent, plus the added bonus of taking the mickey at such annoying programs!
  12. I'd love either of them, having heard Do Ya might be the single angered me a little. It's a great album track as its fun and stuff, but for it to be released I feel would be a big mistake and a loss of opportunity to let everyone hear one of the other much more fantastic tracks, such as Down Goes Another One. I agree that it should go up a little near Christmas, not just because of the single but because of Christmas presents. I've yet to buy mine but I have friends who want it off me for Christmas. I'll be doing my Christmas Shopping in December, as I'm very slow.
  13. It's hardly a shock, you have to remember it was free with the Mail On Sunday in July. There's only 3 new songs on this version, 4 including Lies.

I suppose McFly really are on their way down now. I'm guessing they'll be lower than the midweeks. Unless their appearance on Pride Of Britain would make people download Lies on Itunes for some reason. Don't think they'll on the Blue Peter birthday special for a while yet.
  15. I was going to say it appears McFly are on their way down now, but having thought about it I'm sure they've been at #27 before and gone back up again.
  16. I'm not the biggest fan of Everybody Knows either. there are much better songs they could release for more respect! They better not release Do Ya either. I love that song, but seriously, just no.
  17. McFly up to #19!
  18. They were on Paul O Grady yesterday too and performed it, plus were on TMI this morning. I suppose they must have been the reasons it's gone up. I hope it does bring them higher than 17 on the proper charts tomorrow.
  19. McFly up to #22 again!

I loved Bones, Read My Mind, Somebody Told Me, Mr Brightside and When You Were Young from first listen. I think they're better than this though.

I personally don't find it any greater than anything else out at the moment. I could see it getting to top 10 though. I do like some Killers songs but I'm not the greatest fan of the lead singers voice - it's quite strange.
  22. McFly up to 25 again! I'm guessing their performance on Paul O Grady and their performance on Al Murry's tonight should keep them in the top 30 as well. It just keeps going up and down in the top 30.
  23. McFly just seem to be going up and down in the top 30.
  24. Hmm, thanks for the information. Yeah, maybe I'll wait. I seem to be good at waiting for the album anyway. Perhaps I'll ask for it for christmas. Or better still, some music store vouchers.
  25. Unfortunately, I have to predict quite a fall. #15 at the highest.
