iTunes Download Chart September '08
Talking about that, McFly's Radio:ACTIVE is at number 52 on that Album chart. Big shock there, for a band who appeared in a film there and haven't been back, released anything or promoted there since. But back on topic of the UK chart, nice to see them still holding on in the top 30. Hopefully they can keep top 30 for Sunday!

Mcfly Radio:ACTIVE (New Album)
I'd love to see a video for Corrupted. Something like Rihanna's Disturbia would work lol.

Mcfly Radio:ACTIVE (New Album)
The tracks are available on Itunes now, if you use Itunes lol.

Mcfly Radio:ACTIVE (New Album)
I've just heard The End's album version (there was an accoustic available on one of the singles) and it is absolutely fantastic! I haven't finished listening to the album yet, but it has certainly already topped my chart on my favourite McFly songs! I just heard Down Goes Another One and it's also superb! I'm beginning to believe they really did leave the best tracks off the free album! I didn't think it could get much better. Only The Strong Survive is really fun and has a cool tune to it! Not a match for the other new songs though, but still really great! I think I've decided this is now my favourite album by the guys. Fantastic buy!

I just got my album in the post and it's on now! I'll say what I think of the new tracks after.

McFly Pull Out All The Stops For 'Lies'
Plus, tbh, the whole album deal isn't going to make anyone but those who were already going to buy the album, buy the album. To me it just looks like the stores being competitive. It's not like someone's going to want to buy the album who wasn't going to already just because it comes with a free crappy small poster which i've heard some stores have been giving out to people on their way out of HMV this week. Also, those exclusive acoustics on the Woolworths album were on the One For The Radio singles. Not so exclusive really, Woolworths!

I was sad to see McFly falling in the charts! It's nice to see they've gone up 1. Hopefully they'll stay in the top 30 downloads next week, but for some reason I'm seeing that as doubtful.

McFly Pull Out All The Stops For 'Lies'
The new remixes probably wont be bought by everyone. I personally see it as just reaching out to a new audience as from the clips they certainly are 'dance remixes'. They wont be many fans cups of tea. I'm only downloading them as I found them in a cheap deal with the album, but that's fine for me as I like most genres of music including dance music.

Buzzjack's FAVOURITE #01 of the 00's
I agree.

Buzzjack's FAVOURITE #01 of the 00's
I personally hope not, those two were way too over-rated and over-played in my opinion. They just got annoying, and I never even liked the Leona one in the first place. Kylie however I'd like to see win.

Top 75 Singles / Albums Chart
I'm glad they released it. It should be all good from here. The record label I'm sure of it used to choose the singles because some of them in my opinion were the worst song on the albums, excluding the first album. There were much better things to release. Plus One For The Radio was their way of making a statement so hopefully no more OFTRs. That is one of the worst songs on the new album in my opinion, too.

Predict: Leona Lewis - Forgive Me
I really don't like it. Doesn't seem like the sort of song that grows on me either.
-
Girls Aloud - The Promise
I'm disappointed. Don't think the lyrics are particularly memorable and the tunes a bit... I don't know. Though Girls Aloud songs tend to grow on me, so I'll give it time. I said 10-20 but having remembered they'll be on the x factor I guess it'll be about #5.

Mcfly Radio:ACTIVE (New Album)
Can't wait to receive my copy. Heard 'The End' yesterday acoustically and it is definitely brilliant. Already have the free copy and have enjoyed it immensely. Especially the latter of the album and having heard clips of them recording the other tracks we've yet to hear, I am very excited to hear them in full as they sound fantastic!

Who Will Be No1 Next Sunday 21/09/2008?
I don't think it will be Kate Perry again, or Cliff Richard. I don't think it will be Will Young either. Kings of Leon maybe. McFly if they surprise maybe too though because I really don't know how this single is going to go.

The CD Singles for McFly's track started arriving yesterday so could be something to do with it.
-
Boyzone - Love You Anyway
I love it! Very catchy, great funky beat. Might get the album!
-
Ne-Yo & New Kids On The Block - Single
Ever since someone mentioned it I've thought the verse sounds like the tune to Viva La Vida. Not really a fan. I'd say top 10 because of Neyo though.

I thought so, I guessed straight away that Bonnie Tyler would re-enter the chart after seeing it but couldn't remember if it was that song. I'm guessing the other adverts new song will enter the charts too or has (and I haven't realised). Those adverts are so daft, especially the racing one.

It would be nice if McFly could enter the top 10 downloads by the end of the week. Haven't a clue how possible that is though with this being sort of new for them. Is that Bonnie Tyler song on that Gorilla Cadbury advert or something? Disturbia has just become annoying now.

The Saturdays; single 'Up' and album 'Chasing Lights'
I have to agree, really. When I say I really liked If This Is Love, it took some time to grow on me and it still isn't anywhere as good as most music out at the moment. Certainly not a match for Girls Aloud, nor the Sugababes tbh.

The Saturdays; single 'Up' and album 'Chasing Lights'
I really liked If This Is Love but really don't like Up. I literally got a headache, lol. I'm disappointed :( But others seem to love it, so never mind me...

They must be quite different as they seem to be one of the only ones I can't stand. Though I just had a quick listen to the new single and compared to the others I've heard, it certainly sounds more listen able.
