  1. I think it should, even these days when downloads are the way. I hope that by going top 40 it'll boost downloads next week (seeing as, especially with EP problems added to it, the downloads are unlikely to boost enough this week to make an impact).

McFly - That's the Truth EP release seems to be on hold.
  3. Someone said Harry told them they were visiting Dougie the next day after the Bolton gig. I guess they are there, then. Some people have received their pre-order CDs already so obviously its too late to delay that. Sounds like this release is very messed up. As long as they put Dougie's health first.
  4. I can't check, so is the album version album only now?

McFly are so caught up in this Dougie thing that they haven't even told everyone on Twitter that the single is out yet. Seem to have forgotten.
  6. If U C Kate?! How odd. Surely can't be a mistake, either!
  7. I can't even predict whats going to happen with the single now. Especially with this whole Dougie thing. It could affect all of the promo etc, but it could gain public interest into the single too. Weird situation.

Dougie's been in rehab for weeks, the papers have only just found out/ printed the story.

McFly will get some unwanted extra promo for That's the Truth tomorrow when the news gets about that Dougie McFly is in rehab.
  10. Its at #55 now! Hopefully it'll keep climbing and end up top 40 soon.
  11. That's the Truth was at #64 when I last looked. That's better!
  12. Dougie doesn't sound good at all judging by that. They really cannot afford to not record Let's Dance - they really, really need the promotion. If that gets cancelled, then yes, I would say they should cancel the single.
  13. I know I probably mention the track far too much, but I hope if this does happen, it doesn't put them off from releasing Nowhere Left to Run. Hoping it does get top 40. If it manages to chart, maybe it'll benefit from all of the chart hits playing on music channels and Radio 1. Hopefully that would allow it to rise. Really have my fingers crossed.
  14. Why do you say that?

    McFly 'All About You'
  16. Also, I think there will be some more promotion added if they think the single needs it. No doubt they'll be on the local radios etc. while they tour the country, and with them playing arenas it should help with promo too.
  17. Maybe it will be good if they add it last minute, because then when its official release date is passed, the hype will still be there?
  18. A new song would be nice, of course. But if any song could leave this album with a hit, and seal it as a memorable moment of their career, NLTR is it. I'm 98% sure.
  19. Danny's choice to put his Nowhere Left to Run remix on this singles CD2 actually really worries me. I will never forgive them if they don't release Nowhere Left to Run, seriously.

I find it really amusing that Star Girl by McFly is in the top 1000 every week (its at #500 or something like that right now). Chris Moyles has really made the track a 'classic' because of him constantly playing it now for something like 2 years. Wonder what the total sales are now.

McFly - Shine A Light is now at #39 so back in the top 40. Wonder if it'll go any higher - although I guess its too late to jump top 40 in the chart again this week.

McFly could rise later, their first performance/ promo piece of That's the Truth is tonight on Comedy Rocks. ITV1 are advertising their appearance a lot

Someone above asked about sales outside of the UK - dunno exact sales or anything but I know their singles/ albums have been doing very well in Brazil and Portugal. Not sure if that means much. Also, about the record label - its a very odd deal. I think Universal only profit from concerts and gigs, so it doesn't matter how much their albums sell etc. as long as they keep selling enough concert tickets. McFly profit from the singles etc. but they also profit from the Super City website they have created and its subscription payments - which is why Universal allowed them to release tracks for free on there. Radio 1 - well I don't know why its not made their playlist yet like the last 2 tracks. Radio 1 can add tracks late, though. We shall see.
  25. Thanks for this. I agree about Radio 1, seems a bit odd. I would think it will be added at some point! Do you not think they will perform on the actual Comic Relief? Like I think you said before? I'd hope so - not only because of their love for the charity but lets face it, it would be good promotion. So, with it being performed tomorrow, should we expect a good rise? I'm not sure what the viewing figures are like for Comedy Rocks. Not too high I should think, but it is ITV1 and it is a Friday night!
