iTunes Chart: November 2010 (III)
The best thing is I don't think Taio Cruz' contribution is much of the reason either. Especially as all of the promotion was just from McFly. Hadn't realised it had been that long. I'll be so chuffed if it does, and more so if future singles could do the same. They're definitely regaining popularity.

I was going to say I guess McFly will be pushed out of the top 10 now with the X Factor/ Olly heading for it, but I just noticed they're at 8 :o Wow, could still be top 10 then. Just about. Fingers crossed.

Its a bit different to You've Got the Love as its not really a party song being slow. Was bound to be used last night on CIN so that was no suprise, but apart from maybe an advert or something like that giving it a push I can't personally see it holding on in the charts much longer. EDIT: Ellie's Your Song seems to have overtaken it as the slow cover of the moment.

If it does go up to 8 it brings back my question on whether they can hang on top 10 for another week. I think they'll definitely have a chance at top 15. Fantastic for them. This will probably be Adele's last push so I think her track will drop out of the top 10 after a short while. Bruno Mars has fallen quite far below those in the top ten in sales now and I think Katy Perry is starting to fall now. Its just a case of what will be a hit next week and knock some of the tracks out of the top 10.

I really don't get how Ellie is so far ahead of 3 and below. Although I haven't heard the full song/ seen the advert. Just seems a bit random. How much longer do we think McFly will be hanging around near the top of the Itunes chart? The sales seem to be pretty steady. It seems to be an increase and decrease of sales for other artists knocking it in and out of the top 10. Do we think it'll hang on at around 10 for another week? I think its possible.

Haha, Shine A Light, All About You, Party Girl, Star Girl and Obviously by McFly are all in the top 1000 now. ^_^ EDIT: Although I think Star Girl was already there because of its being played on Chris Moyles' show every Friday.

McFly are performing very late so I doubt it will affect their chart position much.

Have McFly's All About You and the Saturday's Ego risen at all after Strictly?

iTunes Chart: November 2010 (III)
A lot of the acts ahead are performing on the same show so I doubt it will make much of a difference.

Can't help but laugh at Westlife's decline. McFly are still at 9 I see! They've been steady in sales all week and I hope that continues into next.

Pointless "Deluxe" Editions
Can be great. McFly released a CD+DVD version of an album for practically the same price. Think it was about a fiver! Would never pay £20 for a bit of extra cardboard though. Pathetic.

iTunes Chart: November 2010 (III)
I guess its a case of Westlife's sales dropping rather than McFly's sales increasing which has caused them to go up to 9.

Poll :How many Beatles singles will chart?
I'd love it if the whole top 40 was Beatles tracks. Would never happen of course.

McFly still at 10! So good.

I don't like I'll Be Your Man much actually. Find it...unexciting? Same live really. Especially as everyone started to sit down! I like Too Close for Comfort though, especially accoustic. & the I'll Be Your Man accoustic is nice. I'm not sure of the actual numbers, I just noticed that when looking at the album info NLTR and TTT had 4 popbars each compared to 2 for the other tracks. Probably very low in the actual chart. Shine a Light has climbed again? :o I need to listen to clips of some of these other new tracks charting. I don't think I've heard Ellie's track especially.

Nice to see that Nowhere left to Run and That's the Truth are the most popular tracks (other than singles) on McFly's new album on Itunes atm.

Seeing all of these boybands in the top 10 is like a trip in a time machine!

007 Chart Commentary - 14th Nov 2010
Just a little correction, Do Ya/ Stay With Me from McFly was for Children In Need, not Comic Relief. But otherwise all fine :) If you like the singles you should check out the 30 second album previews for McFly's album Above the Noise. Will be interesting whatever they release next! I agree about the Black Eyed Peas track. Tripe isn't even a bad enough word for it.
