Kilimanjaro, Comic Relief
I didn't realise quite how funny Alesha is until I watched some of the videos. Everytime she starts laughing I can't help but laugh with her! They all did so well! :yahoo: Looking forward to the documentary on Thursday. Good on 'em. Now they just need to make it down...

Take That - General Chart Topic
I think it might do a bit better next week what with Gary being back in the UK and them performing on Comic Relief. I actually like the B track now I've heard it a few times but I'm peeved that online stores don't appear to be selling it yet as I like to get them together. Maybe I'm just being awkward as I know it's on the CD but I stopped buying single CDs a long time ago. All that would happen is it would get burned to my computer and then be a fancy looking coaster which seems like a waste. Unless it has extras or it's an album I really don't want the damn things everywhere. Ah well. Think I might cheer myself up and get Kelly Clarkson's song. Only 29p at Amazon UK music store!

Something to Think and Talk About.
Not sure if I can think of 10... my mind is a bit foggy so I'll have to Wikipedia to know if they were released or not! 1. You - The Circus album from Take That (I'm going out on a limb saying this won't be released as a single) 2. Missing You - Finally Woken album by Jem 3. Think About Me - Gutterflower album by Goo Goo Dolls 4. Finding Me - Everything You Want by Vertical Horizon 5. Everytime I Look For You - Take Off Your Pants & Jacket album by Blink 182 There would be more but I didn't add songs that were released in other countries. Also I have a bit of a headache so maybe I'll think of something else later.

Up all night
I want to buy it this week but I prefer to get my tracks with their B-Side. My store of choice is 7digital but they aren't selling the B-Side so I'm holding out and contemplating my options.

Gary Barlow sings parody Birthday song for Chris Moyles
Ah, sorry, didn't think about that - it's on YouTube here:

Coldplay
Oooh, I might have to have a look for that. I only talk about Take That but I love a lot of what Coldplay have done (same with Kylie!).

Support for Circus Tour
I really like this song. It makes a change to have something with a positive, uplifting message. God knows we all need a bit of cheering up sometimes! I think Gary Go has a bright future ahead of him.

Gary Barlow sings parody Birthday song for Chris Moyles
Couldn't find it mentioned here, but Gary did a parody of Greatest Day and turned it into Greatest DJ. Whatever you think of the track it's based on I think some of you will think this is quite funny (well, I did at least!). http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio1/chrismoyles/vi...eatest_dj.shtml

Coldplay
Thanks for posting the video, Norma! I'd read all about it but not actually seen it. I think it was really nice (I always love it when the crowd joins in!) and for a good cause too. Bless 'em all. Oh, just had to add this - There are similar videos but it's still from the War Child event. Skip to around 3:20 to see Chris Martin drag Gary back on stage to sing with Coldplay, Bono and The Killers. Made my chuckle. I really think Chris wasn't kidding when he said he liked Take That, lol!

A Few Reviews/Comments I Found
I don't like they keep referring to Gary as the main song writer because not only is it misleading, but it also means that if anything goes wrong then he gets all the blame too! They said it from the beginning of being reunited that this time it was all of them in it together so as far as I'm concerned they can share the compliments and insults, depending on what people have to say.

The Garden
Whatever they release I'll end up buying because I always like to get their B tracks - some of those have been gems that I've liked more than the singles! Whether they release The Garden or anything else there will always be some people that don't like it and others that do (I do btw, but not sure if I like it as a single). I really loved IWFL and I thought it was a pity that it didn't do better, but others clearly didn't like it and that's fair enough. Either way I never trust The Sun as a reliable source but if they were to release The Garden I think it might be a bit of an odd choice as singles go... but I love it partly because it's a joint effort.

Up all night
Saw the video on MSN just now. Hmm. Well, at least I like the song, lol! The video wouldn't be so bad but it seems like it's meant to be a street party - I don't get the impression that many people there are having such a great time.

Take That Where Did It All Go Right
Oooh, thanks for letting us know Norma - I might not have caught it on my own. I'll try and remember to watch it.

Up all night
Hey Norma, I just have to say I'm glad I got it wrong. :D I do love this track, I really hope it gets to number 1 but I adored Rule The World and that was held off. Is Leona Lewis set to be releasing a new track? :P

Why feel guilty?
It was written in The Sun, who says it's true anyway... honestly, I don't trust a damn thing any of the tabloids say about anything. And if they did say what's reported they said; I'm guessing either that was the only thing the papers picked up on, it was twisted to high heaven or they don't want to give the tabloids a field day by saying anything bad about Rob. Still think it's all nonsense though.

Girls Aloud
Yeah, I agree - I'd prefer Girls Aloud too. I only brought up Sugababes because they were their guests at last years Take That at the o2 so, after GA, they'd be a good choice maybe.
-
Girls Aloud
My favourite girl bands are between Girls Aloud and Sugababes right now so I would love to see Take That and Girls Aloud team up for a Comic Relief single! Then again, if Take That teamed up with Sugababes they'd still have odd numbers!

1 Million Done and Dusted
They only re-released BW because of Rule The World. Rule The World was only written and released because they were asked to write a song for a film. Maybe in certain circumstances they'd do a re-release of The Circus, but I don't really think so (who knows though really). Great news about the album doing so well! It'll be a great start for next year if sales stay strong!

Which Do You Prefer
I'm up to Up All Night as it happens! I love hearing Jason, especially at the very beginning. I also like how it changes pace throughout the song and one of my favourite parts is when they reply to Mark with "He met this girl last night and she said why won't you marry me?". It all just fits together so well. Hopefully Iris will not be too upset by your comments, Norma. We all like what we like and that's great when it's just about album tracks and B-sides, but singles really need to be the best to make people want to go buy the album. Shine, Rule The World, even Greatest Day, had the power to make even non-Take That fans start to take notice. I think Up All Night would have the same influence. Hold Up A Light seems like a more powerful release than Julie... or some of the combined member songs you've mentioned.

Mr Bojangles?
I don't have anything against or for Robbie so I didn't vote either way. I like that they're friends again and guest spots wouldn't bother me but neither need one another so I don't want Robbie to ever return full time.
-
Which Do You Prefer
Honestly, I hope I'm wrong too! I think I'd prefer a Howard or Jason track than Julie. I don't hate it but I don't love it either. I'd like Up All Night to be their next release. Perk everyone up from the Winter blues like Shine did! Right now I'm listening to The Garden. It's wonderful! It's the type of song I wanted on Beautiful World because I longed for a song where they all sang something. Gary's my favourite but I really like hearing them all.

Which Do You Prefer
Oh dear... I'm the odd one out because I voted for Greatest Day! In fairness though it was a difficult decision. I love Shine but GD just beats it for me only for the reason it makes me think about someone every time I hear it - emotional connections to songs can be a powerful thing! Although, if it had been either song against RTW that would have got my vote no question! Speaking of album tracks, I'm fairly sure they'll be releasing both Up All Night and Julie as singles. When they did An Audience with they sang Patience, Shine and I'd Wait For Life. For the Come To Town and BBC2 Live Session they sang Greatest Day, Julie and Up All Night. Maybe it's just a coincidence but I think they will be their future releases, perhaps in that order... but then again... it's since been removed (perhaps because there's no proof either way or because it shouldn't have been announced yet) but a while back on Wikipedia it stated the next release after GD would be Up All Night. That should be taken with a pinch of salt though. My personal favourites are definitely The Garden, Said It All, The Circus, How Did It Come To This and Up All Night. Greatest Day and all the other songs had to grow on me first but I think I like some even more than what was on the BW album. Julie is a grower, although I'm not sure I'd pick it as a single. I'll still buy it though because I tend to love their B-sides.

Predict: Geraldine McQueen - Once Upon A Christmas Song
I think I voted for top 2 or 3, but I wasn't paying attention to the charts so that was a little too optimistic. I'll admit it, I like Peter Kay. I thought the Pop Factor show was hilarious and I liked The Winner's Song, even though I didn't get around to buying it. I like this song even more, and I will be buying it sometime this week - I hope sales will be boosted after people watch Geraldine on the Royal Variety Performance and then again on Friday with the follow up show. I'm pleased it's for charity but even if it hadn't been it's got some catchy lyrics and puts me in a happy Christmas mood.

"Patience" voted best modern day nursery rhyme!
I just read this over on DS and couldn't see it mentioned here so I thought I'd pass it on. Just a bit of fluff to lighten the mood! Source: http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/music/a137277/...sery-rhyme.html How sweet! Go TT! I'm glad Katy Perry's song didn't top the vote. I really like the song but it doesn't seem very appropriate!

Greatest Day-Chart Watch
I had a feeling this would be a song that Take That fans would be a little unsure of and non Take That fans would warm up to. I feel no shame in saying I love Take That, but I adore this song. It's repetitive but I love how it sounds. It's very uplifting. I'll be getting the album at some point but I like to get the singles for the B-sides so I went right ahead and did that. Sleepwalking is a lovely song but GD reminds me of someone so I personally like it more. It doesn't come close to Rule The World but that was such an amazing song that I never expected anything to. Right now I'm happy to see that it's set to go to number 1. I hope it does. :)
