I agree, Single Soon was so by numbers and boring to me, I love the Julia Michaels of this. The line into the chorus about keeping you up late til you can’t see straight is so sonically exciting and I love the stupidity of the steak tartare verse!

I’ve enjoyed this for the most part, the elimination element being save yourself rather than a phone vote actually works i think. I did think the cast was poor in terms of legends, so many like random 8th or 9th placed people - some much more legendary figures out there. However to be fair to the likes of Jordan who 8 thought was the most ‘meh’ booking, I have really enjoyed him. Nobody has left that I am devastated by as I am mostly here for Carol & Myleene, I hope one wins, Helen was probably the biggest loss as she really did have a massive turnaround from her season, fair play to her. Of those remaining, I don’t hate either but Fatima and Phil have both irked me at various points. I also don’t really want Paul to win, but he has been somewhat entertaining.

Honestly I was bored by most of the final couples, it’s so dull to see the same people regularly getting to the top. So I was rooting HARD for Olivia and Horacio, definitely my favourite new additions to the series, Horacio is just chefs kiss, Olivia was lots of fun and what happened to her was awful, I hope they’ll be back. Of the remaining options, I’m glad Tori won it. I can do without another season of Jordan. While he clearly does have some good in him, he can be so bloody patronising and it winds me up. Other favourites for me were Amber, surprisingly, Mariah, Kim and Colleen and Jay and Michele. I wish we had got to see more of Sam.

I think it’s a difficult position for Charlene - how would she fairly interview him on itv news in the future without people being like ‘oh he’s your bed buddy’. I suspect she is thinking about professionalism. I’m glad she is doing tonight’s trial, I hope she smashes it to shut a few folk up, and stays for at least the first elimination as a result.

I was really here for the All Stars 6 cast despite people saying they were scraping but this… really does feel like a bizarre cast. Happy to finally see Darienne though!

I can’t believe I’m actively wishing Jujubee not to win, but it’s just not deserved across the season. Though of course I’d rather her than Baga. For me Mo was the winner of this episode, but Blu was next best, and has been miminum top three in every episode. Blu has to win?

I used to really like Kyle but I find him an irritant now, it feels like he’s in the producers pocket as he will give them the piece to camera bits they’ll want. But also when he’s in the wrong in an argument and his only answer is ‘shut up man’ without an actual defence, I find that highly annoying. I was however really rooting for his cell to win that last challenge, and I think as they got 2.5 wires really, they should have,

I thought the hair was nice and the dress was good but that make up was pure BAD, soz Ronnie. Kitty would have been the clear winner of the challenge for me.

Tom was so very very sweet but the showstopper does tend to carry a bit more weight and he ballsed it up super spectacularly. I’m also glad it saved the icon that is Amanda.

I agree about Rhys, very very OTT and in my opinion a bad move to show off all the moves you already have on the launch. I liked so many of the cast that I’m finding it hard to predict. I think Dan might be out earlier than usual Breakfast colleagues just because nobody looks like they will be as awkward as him.

I’m not sure how Ginger has been favoured when she has the least ‘top’ placements yet hasn’t really failed at anything besides portraying Fergie. All her other bottoms (again, which she has the most I think) are group challenges that she was clearly the best of her group in, or ‘if you’re not in the bottom you’re in the top’, none of which she was really the worst at. I’m team Ra’Jah OR Ginger, same as day one!

I don’t think any of the lip syncs were among the best of the series tbh… Miss You Much, Physical, Phone are all way better. However, I do agree that Silky won most of them fairly and that she had a great great episode, she was so funny with her quips. I do think the last one was her weakest and Eureka won it with pure emotion, and I do agree Serena won hers - in fact I think that was the biggest robbery of the episode!

I am aiming for a Ginger/Ra’Jah top two.. my two favourites going into the series, and then I will be happy either way.
