iTunes Thread: May III
Just because someone else did it, doesn't make it not a huge achievement. Derulo's album hasn't sold 600,000 copies. Combined No.4 was still a VERY strong showing, and they've messed it up totally.

LOL sorry. scroll to bottom of album. Yes it's tagged on at the end. Still, an odd move nonetheless IMO that will only harm sales. People can get the Pitbull edit from the top 100 already!

As far as I can see there is just one Alexandra album now, 'released today'. From the clip you can't tell if it has Pitbull but I imagine it does or they wouldn't have changed anything. Why not just add another album, at 7.99 with the Pitbull version on, leave the original album at 5.99 and then they wouldn't have had to delete anything!

I am so mad about them doing this to Alexandra on release week - they should do that NEXT week if they're going to do it at all. WHat does it matter to them which version is selling?! And maybe not everyone WANTS the Pitbull version, and will now download illegally instead. UGH

Anyone else a bit disappointed that Alex was 52 by 1am or so and is still only at No.40? I thougth the Pitbull version would be pretty huge! At the same time, perhaps it's best the album version remains the best selling one, so she doesn't fall out of the top 10.

Alexandra Burke ft. Pitbull - All Night Long
Thank you! I'd love to get some writing on it mind! That link doesn't work for me, I believe these are the pictures from the Mail marrb was pointing towards.. http://i39.tinypic.com/20a2oti.jpg http://i44.tinypic.com/33kqixj.jpg Jark you fiend, she looks incredible! I have been dubious about this video, thought it would be bland but she looks EASILY better than in any other video so far. Except maybe Hallelujah where demure worked 100%.

Kate Nash - 2nd Studio Album [19.04.10]
I don't think it's embarrassing - as a standalone poem. But on a commercial music CD, for me it just doesn't work, and the song after it adds nothing for me either. One of two songs on the album I don't like, the second being I've Got A Secret. Otherwise, very strong and plenty of single options! I think Made of Bricks is more commercial and more consistent and will probably remain my favourite but I'm very happy with this record, just so glad she's back! I really hope it's a top 5 album, if not top 3. Single choices for me could be one of 6 - Kiss That Grrl and Paris would be ideal to be next, Early Christmas Present, Later On and Take Me To A Higher Plane could work too, and I'd round off with Don't You Want To Share The Guilt? - though I've heard someone say they've heard that's coming next. I hope not, I'm not sure it'd work as the next release..?

Kate Nash - 2nd Studio Album [19.04.10]
I can't WAIT to listen to the rest. It's funny how '..Guilt' has gone from a fourth single b-side to a song a few are describing as her finest hour!

Kate Nash - 2nd Studio Album [19.04.10]
Absolutely agree, also the lyric in your signature is my sig on UKMIX, good choice ;) I got my scrapbook today too, it's lovely! only had a chance to listen to track 5 but love so far, esp. Paris..

Brian McFadden feat Kevin Rudolf - Just Say So
I think people are way harsh on Brian, he's a top writer, good vocalist (especially for a boybander) and I think he's funny and grounded, good for him!

Kate Nash - 2nd Studio Album [19.04.10]
Ah you got such a fantastic setlist! Bit annoyed I didn't get tickets but thought it'd be the same as the warm up gigs! I am so ready for next Monday!

Favorite British male Singer
James Morrison and then Craig David are miles ahead of the rest for me.
-
Favorite British Female Singer
That was incredibly hard. Kate Nash, Alexandra Burke and Lily Allen are in my top 5 or 6 singers PERIOD. Definitely between Kate and Alexandra.. I think Kate edges it for now.

Favorite British Girlband?
Because of two words: QUEEN JADE. Naw, Sugababes were amazing then, they are a different amazing now. My vote is actually the Saturdays though, just beating the Sugas.

iTunes Thread // April I
I am gutted for Kate Nash, I am still positive it has alot to do with being pushed back and the iTunes release date saying April 11th. Here's hoping for a meteoric rise as of now.. just got my copy. I still think her album will be a No.1.

Kate Nash - 2nd Studio Album [19.04.10]
You'll Never Listen has the most brilliant opening lines, SO Kate... have put in spoilers in case people don't want to know the lyrics they don't know yet ;) I just love the last word!

Kate Nash - 2nd Studio Album [19.04.10]
You got more new songs than we did in Brighton (I'm from London but tickets had gone when I found out :() BECAUSE of the power cut :P We just got Mouthwash and Merry Happy! Funnily enough as I came in this thread, the live version of 'You'll Never Listen' came on my iPod, it's SO good, you guys are gonna love it! Glad the video seems to be getting a few spins, hopefully it'll pick up on the airplay quickly as well given that it's out in three weeks, quite risky releasing it so suddenly but I think the reaction so far has been good!

Yeah I thought it might win out, funny it's off to the slowest start. Hope Sugas can beat him unlike in Ireland!

First sign of an update: Alphabeat: No sign Jason Derulo: 682 Ellie Goulding: 518 Leona (Single Release): 176 wait for it... Sugababes - 65 (& 782) Now clearly it's very early and also iTunes might not be quite up to date with everything but I think comparing how they've done over the same period of time is a VERY good sign for the Babes!

Strictly Come Dancing 2009
Christ man, did you have fun in here talking to yourself? SO HAPPY CHRIS WON! It's not ALL about the clean lines and pointed feet, Ali was beautiful to look at, but had all the personality of a stuffed otter when she danced. Ricky was somewhere in between, technically brilliant and he sold the dances, I think overall he was probably the best dancer this series, but most entertaining? Definitely Chris - that Charleston was flawless and deserved 5 10s, it was CRIMINALLY undermarked first time around! Really good to see a nice guy finish first too... from disaster dancer to a competent performer in the space of a few short weeks, and gentlemanly all along, WELL DESERVED.
