Alexandra the best by miles for me, Steve the absolute worst. Would love to big up Shayne's for being original but it's just pants. soooo Alexandra, Leon (:o), Joe, Leona, Shayne, Steve.

It was one of this weeks Radio 1 Masterpieces, so it got played in full on air this week

Not to start with at all! Series One I was a massive Cassie fan, really hated Steve. Series Two I was a Brenda fan, even in the final I wanted the others to beat Shayne. Like him noe though! Series Three, for shame, I wanted Ray to win all along, even in the final against Leona. I must be one of few to have wanted her to lose. Now I accept I was wrong! It changes from series 4 though. With the exception of Kimberley who went out very unfairly first week of X Factor 4, Leon and Alexandra were my favourites of the top 12, Alexandra my favourite the moment I saw her sat in the audition room. And this year, I'm hoping my lucky streak continues, my favourite of the 12 has always been Joe!

I think they are still going with Shayne, and I think he'd do well again with the right material. He is certainly more popstar like than any males that remain here. Glad to see Olly in the bottom two as I think he is unlikely to win now, Stacey and Joe are my top 2 and the only two not been bottom two. Wouldn't be surprised if Danyl or Olly managed second, as JLS did after beign bottom two, but I sincerely hope for my taste and the outcome of my bet that Joe takes the crown!

I've gone (unfortunately) for Lloyd - Olly's fans will not stop voting this week, alot of people were shocked. Danyl is the only other viable option, but I think after Lloyd's bounceback vote this week hell be bottom of the pile now.

Russ, it's Olly that's rumoured to be having a fling with Stacey! And LLOYD that's rumoured to be getting it on with Danyl! Joe is being a good boy and concentrating on his music (not sleeping with the twins ;)) Jonjo, in the words of Tinchy Stryder, you're not alone. Don't like Danyl but thought he was very good this week. Aaron, I just said the exact same somewhere else, this week was Joe's 'Listen' - has seen him return to favourite in some places and got the first all judge standing ovation of the series. Had forgotten George was rumoured to be on the final, so it really could play out that way! Last night: 01. Joe - No competition, didn't think the big note was particularly big, not enough to make that big fuss over but it was another flawless Joe vocal, superb, one of his best. 02. Danyl - Loved the arrangement, thought it was one of his more reigned in performances. Did well to win me over as I don't like his tone or attitude generally. 03. Lloyd - Think he's getting alot of stick when he is VASTLY improving. This was another of his best, needed a big note in it but he sang it well, love his tone! 04. Stacey - A nice performance but a bit all over the place at the start, I even wondered if she was in key at one point! Not a patch on last week but still love her. 05. Olly - In concurrence with those that can't work out what's so good about him. Not even close to Will Young's vocal ability, not even close to Robbie's. Average voice, decent performer, VERY nice guy so can't begrudge his doing well. But as a singer, no thanks. Awful first half, it did improve though. 06. jedward - Loved them last week. This week? Dire. Go home. I thought last week that Lloyd would be safe today - but then I didn't think Cheryl would stick him on first. So I think it's anyone of Danyl, Lloyd and the Twins. If the twins are there, they're gone. If Lloyd is there against anyone but the twins, he's gone. So, despite disliking Danyl overall, I pray he stays out of the bottom two this week, because unless he's against Olly, Stacey or Joe (unlikely), he is more likely to stay, get a voting boost and maybe even make the final. I'd prefer safety tonight and out next week when (I think) it's just public vote, being leapfrogged in the votes by the person who survives the sing off tonight.

Great to see the John Mayer and Taylor Swift track doing well!

All things considered, I'm going to go with Danyl. Something told me last week the twins would get at least a two week rebound - and if Lloyd can come up with a performance as good as Last Request he could pull some standard votes in on top of the rebound ones. That'd leave (for me) Danyl and a shock bottom two virgin! I can't see Joe, Olly or Stacey losing out to Danyl - Cheryl doesn't like him enough and Dannii's comments to Joe suggest she thinks he is a better vocalist than Danyl.

I think in a Jamie vs Stacey bottom two Stacey would easily stay! Louis would choose Stacey by a mile, and I think Cheryl would too!

I think people are being way harsh on Joe - he was very musical theatre this week, but it was movie week, if ever there's a week to be theatrical! He commanded a Journey performance last week, he was masterful on Robbie Williams - he can be a popstar for sure, and is the best male vocalist, probably the best vocalist in general, remaining. Cheryl just needs to make sure she gives him more modern songs, otherwise in the final I'm predicting (Olly v Jpe) we'll end up with retro covers vs stage school kid. This week 01. Joe - It was musical sure but he's proved contemporary relevance before. In a weak week it was the best vocal from the most consistent artist. Not his best, but THE best this week. 02. Danyl - Normally don't like him, but much better look, MUCH better attitude - much better vocals. Less screaming, stuck to the melody, good job. 03. Lucie - Like the idea of the song choice, if not the song itself. A bit empty at points, great at others. 04. Jamie - One of his best, less pub rocker, more real artist. Still think he's a cocky bugger and would like him out. 05. Lloyd - Out of his depth but his strongest vocal yet, still love his tone. 06. Stacey - Her weakest performance for me. She looked good and towards the end sounded great but in general she just didn't sell it to me. 07. Olly - The retro thing is becoming really stale, he needs to be brought up to date. Required little singing, the dancing was poor. His worst. 08. Jedward - Funny for the first 30 seconds, awful afterwards Overall 01. Joe 02. Stacey 03. Lucie 04. Lloyd (if he never performed live, I'd love his voice on a folky CD!) 05. Olly 06. Danyl 07. Jedward 08. Jamie I am predicting Lloyd to get that bounce back this week, Olly and Joe very safe, can't see Jedward going and I think Danyl is back on track with Joe Public. So bottom two between the girls and Jamie. I think Lucie will escape it, so I predict Stacey and Jamie bottom two.

The best song on the album. Not an obvious second single choice, but a very good one! Glad they are properly introducing Alex as a mainly upbeat popstar - The Silence can come next!

I think this is a mess, it's horrible compared to the original, and I am a HUGE Estelle fan (I do like the line 'you guest appear, you best appear, to know what you're doing in the bedroom dear' but that's about it). Really disappointed, the original was incredibly charming, this is overcooked.

I agree with you to some extent, I have a feeling that the first two choruses were perhaps mimed. You can hear her breathe in the first verse heavily though, and she messes up later by doing what I think is the wrong adlib However, I take issue with that 'bit at the end' - 3.27 when she 'stops singing but the vocal carries on' - that's how we know it WAS live! Because she sings 'yeah the bad boys are alwayssss..' and it seems like she's going to leave it there for the line, the backing track carries on and then as the camera switches angle (so we can no longer see Alex's face clearly) she decides to start singing again. So the backing track goes: yeah the bad boys are always catching my eye and Alex goes: YEAH THE BAD BOYS ARE ALWAYS (cat)CHING MY EYE It looks dubious because of the change of camera, but watch it and I'm sure you'll agree. That part was not a cock up, more Alexandra taking a breath I guess..

I'm going Lloyd. Cheryl better give Rikki a better spot this week..

I think the fans by and large WILL buy it anyway, the performance is about convincing those who are unsure or perhaps haven't heard it - and Alex thrives on live performance IMO
